    Amazing album from start to finish with no skips and featuring many BOPS. Katy Perry is back in full force on Smile, as it's her most personal album to date. She takes us through the highs and lows of her Witness Era and what brought her smile back. Standout tracks on the album are: Not The End of The World, Teary Eyed, Cry About It Later, Tucked, Champagne Problems and Only Love alongAmazing album from start to finish with no skips and featuring many BOPS. Katy Perry is back in full force on Smile, as it's her most personal album to date. She takes us through the highs and lows of her Witness Era and what brought her smile back. Standout tracks on the album are: Not The End of The World, Teary Eyed, Cry About It Later, Tucked, Champagne Problems and Only Love along with favorites Never Really Over, Smile & Harley's In Hawaii. A solid effort that can literally go toe to toe with Perry's previous works Teenage Dream & Prism. If you don't like Smile then something is obviously wrong with you and you have no taste whatsoever. That's the facts and stop hating on Katy, whatever the hell did she do to you. This is hands down one of the best album's of 2020. Honestly, I hope the album gets a nomination at the 2021 Grammy's for Best Pop Vocal Performance.… Expand

    Each track is special in its own way. The vocals are perfection. Katy has proven again that she is capable of releasing an album full of hits including not the end of the world and teary eyes. Instead of comparing her to other artists, just enjoy the damn album

    I wonder if the critics listened to the same album as me, because SMILE doesn't deserve all these negative critic reviews and ratings at all. It's a really cohesive album, maybe the only one from Katy. There's no skip for me, no song I disliked, I enjoyed all the tracks. It was a really good ride. Vocals are on point, lyrics are great and inspiring, melodies are amazing. This album is aI wonder if the critics listened to the same album as me, because SMILE doesn't deserve all these negative critic reviews and ratings at all. It's a really cohesive album, maybe the only one from Katy. There's no skip for me, no song I disliked, I enjoyed all the tracks. It was a really good ride. Vocals are on point, lyrics are great and inspiring, melodies are amazing. This album is a mix between Witness (more mature) and her past projects (more sweet-pop) and it works really well.
    The title was right, I smiled listening to this new project, I also cried of joy. I'm so happy for Katy, now she's in peace with herself and she's doing what she likes, no matter what people are saying. What she says in "Only Love" is beautiful and so true : "Let me leave this world with the hate behind me, and take the love instead."

    Seriously, give this album a chance, don't read what critics are saying, SMILE doesn't deserve to be underrated like that. This is one of Katy's best albums so far, and one of the best albums this year for sure.    … Expand

    My expectations were low after witness, but holy **** this album is so ****ing good, every song is a bop my favorites are only love, tucked and teary eyes. One of my favorite albums released this year, good job ms Perry!!

They hate Teenage Dream when it came out and now they say Smile doesn’t compare? they’ll never be happy with what Katy Perry does, but it doesn’t matter because she’s Katy Fing Perry.

Ontem quando dei play no álbum simplesmente abri um sorriso e tudo mudou, eu abri o álbum e tive um êxtase, maior do que o da cocaína. E eu disse “essa... essa aquivé pura!”, e foi ali que eu me encontrei, dentro do smile.

    Smile is the perfect album to listen to when you have unpleasant moments. It has great sounds like the guitar solo on Cry About It Later, or the perfect sound for a soundtrack with It's Not The End Of The World. Smile came at the perfect time and year to rejoice while in lockdown.

    The storytelling is sooo goood but... some of the songs didn't lack of power but it reminds me of her older works, she scrapped the beats and put it in the songs (some)... my favorite is Only Love I instantly in love to it and Cry About It Late this connects to her song TOTGA which I really love. That's All.

I see an album with few median tracks, the title track 'Smile' is something very weak but it is not enough to be highlighted by something negative.     She didn't evolve very artistically on this album, but it's great to hear. Some songs are very repetitive, but as a whole it is a happy and unpretentious album. The highlights are in the songs: Harleys In The Hawai, Never Really Over, Daisies, Cry About It Latter and Tucked.

The "professional critics" are not rating the album, they are comparing it with other artists, who have nothing to do with it and destroying Katy Perry, and that is pathetic.… Expand

    I really don't understand what is wrong with being yourself, we are all free to express what we feel, Katy Perry with Smile tells us that there are more reasons to laugh than to cry, that it is never too late to start over, but above all, that with a smile life is better. 10/10 Love U Katy, thanks for this masterpiece, for another Bible ❤️

    The media criticize the album they are not so good anymore, they praise Albums that are horrible but this one that is very good they put it as if it were the worst, the only bad thing about this is the media.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
