    This is her masterpiece of work. Cohesive, on point, lyrically THE BEST, musically even better. She surpassed for so many things through these years and she is living the best moment with the most light right now, she build her family... she gave birth to a daughter. I just hope those f#ckers "critics" dont bring her down again, but remember she is stronger this time you'll CANT BRING HERThis is her masterpiece of work. Cohesive, on point, lyrically THE BEST, musically even better.     Smile is a personal album of Katy. She never disappoints me. I especially love Harley's in Hawaii, one of the best songs released by Katy, Never Really Over, Smile, What Makes A Woman and Daisies. I love you, Katy. You rock mama. ❤️

    imo literally the worst work from her. it has good songs i cannot lie. such as: teary eyes, never really over, harleys in hawaii and small talk. however, after smile (the single) i decreased my expectations about the album. even that did not work.

    It is strange how many fans of Lady Gaga insist on coming here to give a low rating to the album.
    Smile is a much more pleasant and cohesive project than the previous Witness. Katy is more comfortable with the sound and more confident in her compositions. Cyr it About Later would undoubtedly be a commercially successful single with a proper promotion

Whereas on Witness, IMO, Katy was trying too hard. As much as I love Witness, there were many weak moments in the album and I felt like the message on the album was a bit scattered (maybe because she added too much tracks which resulted theWith Smile, Katy has given something Fresh and new, yet familiar at the same time.     Si hablamos de arte, es una joya, las letras son muy profundas en algunas ocasiones; mezcla varios sonidos que NO había usado antes en su carrera. Nos dio ritmos funk, otros dance muy alegres y algunos muy oscuros que nos recuerdan a Dark Horse y otros de sus grandes hits.

    Smile has a very fresh and feel-free sound that transmits good energy. The song layout is perfect, pairing similar songs together to cohesively tell an entire story. The lyrics are very honest and realistic, much of what today’s pop music lacks. Katy Perry is back and her latest album Smile is proof that if you make music from the heart, its sound will resonate with millions.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
