    The songs, per se, are pretty good, at least most ot them. But only 3 of them are really impressive, the rest is pretty mediocre, nice to listen but nothint that really impresses.

    Katy has pivoted to.. boring! After the first two songs the album felt like a mission to stay awake to while listening. Katy Perry needs a long hard break.

    Hands down the best piece of work she ever released in her career. Starting off with a banger of Never Really Over, serving bops like Cry About It Later, Tucked, Not The End of The World, Harleys in Hawaii, Daisies, Only Love, and ending with a feminist anthem What Makes a Woman. Truly a perfect pop album.

    Katy finally found hersel artistically, this is what she loves to do, this is what she knows how to do better, It does not matter if she's always been like this because this is what she feels good doing. It is a perfect pop album with influences of the 80s and eurodance kind of sonha. Her best body of work so far.

    Katy never let me down and in this time wasn't different. Smile is a complete album, with a clear narrative line and with dancing rhythms and motivational lyrics, a product of the depressive period Katy passed through in the last year. Smile is a great album and deserves to be highly valued.

Not a single interesting song, no risks taken, no experimentation, no thing noteworthy. It would have gotten at least a 3 or 4 if she put any effort into trying something even a little different from the empty-headed, bubblegum popIt's just simply...... Not good.     It is NOT fair to compare smile with Katy’s other albums... it is not similar to none of them. Smile is all of her albums together creating a whole different record that looks like something done by Katy Perry.
    She a great teacher telling us how to deal with our tears or depression by dancing through our pain.

    This album, omg it's a masterpiece, I feel the happiness inside of me when I'm listening this album, Katy was incredible doing it, make an album based in sadness and make it sound so funny that you just wanna dance till die it's amazing.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
