    "Smile", novo álbum de Katy Perry, traz uma proposta interessante. Com menos de 40 minutos de duração, o álbum é extremamente fácil de ser ouvido. O ponto fraco do "Smile" é ele ter algumas faixas genéricas demais, em uma tentativa desesperada de trazer a "antiga Katy" de volta.

While there are definitely tracks that sound very familiar with her previous work (for example, Not the End of the World, the younger sister of Dark Horse and Black Widow) Smile sounds like a brand new Katy Perry, like the story of how Katheryn Hudson was so close to lose herself during and after the Witness era, a very misunderstood and mistreated musical moment in its own right, and rebuilt herself brick by brick. Never Really Over, Cry About It Later and Teary Eyes are the first chapter of the story. Pure pop bops each carrying the message of never being over, of taking a break for the sake of your mental health, and face the darkness with teary eyes. The second chapter-Daisies, Resilient and Not the End of the World-is about self-confidence, resilience, strength, and healing.     You have to be honest, for an artist of the stature of Katy Perry this is not a good album. It's not soo bad and it's okay that i wanted to make a personal album, however that doesn't mean that this album is forgetful anf boring.

    One of her bests records ever, she is a super queen, she always gave us what we need, she can touch our soul and heart, i love all songs, the album is very cohesive, dance, pop, and she really gave my smile back with that album. Hope she receives the recognition she deserves.     In "Smile", Katy Perry gives us more of the same but with a point more than her previous album. By far "Harleys In Hawaii" is the best on the album. Her smile once again makes us blush and ask at the same time, where is she going to go? Hopefully it's to a better place. The album stays true to its style and classic pastelos pop that runs from 7 to 10.

All songs are really good and coherent together. ,Never Really Over, Cry About it Later, Teary Eyes, Not the End of the World and Only Love are the strongest.     Katy actually delivered a good album. There's literally no skips at all. Also, knowing the fact that she healed from what she's been thru and now that she finally got back her smile and herself makes this even better. Beautiful lyrics, pop bangers, uplifting anthems, she has it all here!

    An album that could deliver more, I listened to 4-5 songs almost half of the album in the last year, this part of the album did not bring me excitement despite the track Never Really Over being a great track. The rest of the tracks have good intentions but lack sparkle, but not bad, just not fresh.

    Como o pessoal é infeliz né? A mulher faz o trabalho dela, e os fãs vem enaltecer, daí junta um bando de sujeira pra desmerecer o esforço. O álbum tá uma delícia, um popzao da porra, Katy sabe extremamente o que o público dela quer, 10/10 sem medo.

    This album is better than everyone is saying. The old Katy Perry is back and she has released her first album where every song is worth it. It's not her best album but it's still amazing.

    We knew never really over and harleys in hawaii, also daisies, but i am so surprised by the general quality of the record, just listening to cry about it later or only love you ll be inmediatily in love with smile. 10/10. Congratulations katy.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
