Aug 28, 2020The best album of the year! Highlight Cry about it later and champagne problems. Super intimate and touching lyrics, no doubt Katy is one of the best songwriters of her generation.
The journey she spent battling depression brought a lot of baggage to a beautiful album. The fact that she is the executive producer alone still gives the music more power. I just loved it! -

Aug 28, 2020É um album incrível, conexo sim! Transmite bem o que ela passou nesse período conturbado da vida dela, e me fez refletir a respeito das situações dificies que também passei na minha. Gostei muito!

Aug 28, 2020Such a good album. I actually did not expect it to be this good, but ita amazing. Not The End Of The World is literally her best song since like 2016. This album is full of bops, it don’t deserve the hate it got. Thanks, Katy❤️

Aug 28, 2020The album is a collective piece of art. It's Katy Perry's rebranding herself all over again. The songs were relatable, familiar and personal! Don't mind the critics, the general users consume the record more than they do. Best album of 2020!

Sep 8, 2020Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

Sep 4, 2020While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

Aug 31, 2020Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
