    A very bland and typical pop album. Sounds like a generic target ad commercial. There are a few interesting lyrics and solid bangers, but they are spread too thin to save this album. It looks like Katy's career is coming to its end

    Smile is not even close of what a good and cohesive album is. Katy is an AMAZING person, but this work she put together isn’t enough to be called an average record.

    un album muy flojo por parte de katy desfortunadamente se encuenta encapsulada en los mismos ritmos iguales a los escuchados en witness y tal cual como paso con ese album pasa sin pena ni gloria

    The album itself just really sucks, the best tracks, if you can call them that, are the ones already released ages before the album So there's nothing new and interesting about it, no reason to seek the complete, and traumatic, album experience

    Nem daria pra chamar de álbum, na verdade Smile não passa de um amontoado de faixas que foram coladas e disfarçadas sobre um suposto conceito de "sad clown". Liricamente é uma vergonha, com frases vazias e rasas, entretanto já era esperado vindo de Katy Perry.

Cuando comenzó a lanzar música a principios de la década sabía que llegaría alto, y creo que se ha ganado con el tiempo su estatus de leyenda pero, personalmente, una leyenda como ella no puede lanzar este álbum. Tiene cero coherencia y la producción es la peor de su carrera. La elección de los singles, por supuesto, no ha ayudadoHe sido un gran fan de Katy Perry desde hace mucho tiempo. Cuando comenzó a lanzar música a principios de la década sabía que llegaría alto, y creo que se ha ganado con el tiempo su estatus de leyenda pero, personalmente, una leyenda como ella no puede lanzar este álbum. Tiene cero coherencia y la producción es la peor de su carrera. La elección de los singles, por supuesto, no ha ayudado para nada, porque "Smile" es la peor canción del álbum, pero el resto no merecen tampoco ni ser escuchadas más de tres veces.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
