    SMILE is the perfect medium for Katy to be a messenger of love and light. The overall theme of the record is uplifting, resilience, gratitude, overcoming trials and tribulations. Katy sounds more mature than ever and the songs perfectly encapsulate the journey she has been theough these past three years.

    I don't know why so much people criticize on this album. This is literally her BEST album ever. She uses her inspiring voice to encourage everybody who are involved in this pandemic.

    One of my favorite studio albums from Katy Perry! Even though the songs were written far before the pandemic began, there’s so many positive messages of hope and resilience sprinkled throughout this album. Absolutely beautiful and inspiring!

    love this album, but why stans from other fandoms suddenly start to come to give negative rating, it was doing ok for user rating, your favourite already got her no 1 this year, and the sales also high, but still stans feel jealous to katy even critics is bias, why even ctitics exist if it just from the personal oppinion of a lerson whose emotion take over

From the electro pop sound of Never Really Over & Teary Eyes, to the calm mid-to-low tempo Only Love to the guitar ballads What Makes A Woman & Daisies,Katy Perry has returned in the best way. Despite the mixed reviews by critics, Smile is a fan favourite and was very highly anticipated, and was released coincidentally alongside her first baby with fiancé Orlando Bloom, Daisy Dove Bloom.     Katy nos entregou mais um álbum maravilhoso!
    É notável a evolução vocal e lírica dela. A maturidade nas composições finalmente está chegando.
    Fora a parte musical, a era também conta com visual perfeito! Perry, mesmo grávida/recém mãe, continua nos presenteando com vídeos e fotos maravilhosas da era Smile. Acredito que a crítica "especializada" já pode parar com a perseguição em cima da    Katy nos entregou mais um álbum maravilhoso!
    É notável a evolução vocal e lírica dela. A maturidade nas composições finalmente está chegando.

    Vulnerable, innovador y creativo. Un álbum que contiene mucha alegría entre sus versos pero que no llega a aburrir, tampoco se llega a ser muy infantil, es muy sobrio. Es más bien un álbum Smile para adultos que están en busca de su sonrisa

    This album is perfection in the form of music. Katy managed to excel once again. She had ups and downs in the Witness era, but she still didn't get carried away by the negative reviews, and finally got her smile back.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
