Spider-Man returns in one of the MCU's more middling entries. There's nothing exactly wrong with it per se. It's got humor, heart, action, and can be a very entertaining experience. It's got humor, heart, action, and can be a very entertaining experience. However, it is also a filler chapter where the only thing of real consequence to occur takes place during the end credits. Coming off of Endgame it's a little hard to get excited about something that doesn't further the franchise in any meaningful way. Although it does hint a little at where the future of Parker may lie.

With this being the character's third incarnation on the big screen, I get that some changes to his history were necessary in order to set this take apart from the work of Raimi and Marc Webb and ensure that he better fit into the MCU. That being said, some of the alterations do irk the purist in me (mostly the ones made to longtime supporting characters). The exception being the possibility of Spider-Man becoming the next Tony Stark. As bad as Marvel comics have been over the past few years, making Parker the CEO of his own multibillion dollar conglomerate was actually a pretty cool decision despite the bad writing that accompanied it. I was even a little disappointed when they decided to retcon that in favor of a back-to-basics approach. So the idea of Parker sort of inheriting Starks tech and role as the face of the MCU kind of excites me and I hope they actually deliver on all of this teasing.

Once again Spider-Man faces of the most well-realized villains in the MCU. While definitely a step back from Vulture, Mysterio at least undergoes a little bit of exploration as a character. As annoying as it is to see everything once again tie back into Tony, it does provide a satisfying explanation behind Beck's actions. The moments where he goes full master of illusion are some of the most exciting in the film.

I think Far From Home really revealed to me where I'm at mentally with this particular cinematic universe. Unless it's introducing new character or radically redefining an existing one's arc, my interest in the standalone entries is very low. Especially if the hero has been around for a while like Spider-Man. There's nothing I can legitimately make complaints about. The formula these films run on definitely still works. It's just that this one felt so inconsequential that I was very aware of its running-time, and for a movie that's over two-hours in length that's not a good thing.

I’ve said it’s one of the few Marvel movies that I actually enjoyed all the way through. While that much is still true, upon a second viewing I don’t think I love it anymore. I like it, it’s solid and it’s still one of the best Marvel movies, but it wasn’t as good on a repeat viewing. With the original fresh in my mind going into the sequel, I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t think that it was as good as I remembered the first one being either. However, I think Far From Home might be better than Homecoming. That’s still my first impression, it may change with time, but as it is right now this is right up there with Homecoming as one of my favourite Marvel movies. Far From Home acts as both a sequel to Homecoming and an epilogue to Avengers Endgame. What is the world like after *spoiler*? What is the world like without *spoiler*? How has *spoiler’s* *spoiler* affected the world and Peter Parker? This film explores that. The comedy is hilarious, the characters are all loveable with great performances, the story is engaging and this movie probably has the most creative and thrilling action and effects out of any of the Marvel movies since Doctor Strange. The story of this movie has a lot of twists and turns and I don’t want to give anything away, but if you’ve seen the trailers or even read the title, you know it’s about Peter Parker going on a school trip to Europe. It’s so great to finally see Spider-Man get out of New York in his own standalone movie and see all the cool stuff he can do in other cities. It was great. The big twist near the end was pretty predictable if you know anything about the comics, but the post-credits scenes are amazing and make me beyond excited to see what becomes of them in future movies! Overall, this is a must-see for any Marvel fans, but even if you aren’t one this is a solid action-comedy with a lot of humour and a lot of heart for the whole family. Highly recommended. Expand

Worst of all, the logic becomes absolutely broken. Things stop making sense completely! It's like someone has managed to take the world of the avengers, which somehow made a science-fiction kind of sense... And turned it into a joke. An absolutely ridiculous Development makes the whole movie seem like a bad Batman spinoff! Except it's the wrong villain, and nothing makes sense... Mind=blown, in the worst way possible.
So bad, I had to stop watching to adjust to the level of ridiculousness. OMG spare yourself the trouble.
I have been re-watching iron Man 1 and 2 and they are like a 50 billion times better.
Any avengers movie is better. This is just horrible really just horrible.

Tom Holland PERFECTLY captures what a spiderman would be in today's world. Remember, spiderman started out as a teen. This movie captures that world perfectly. Attempting to juggle the life of a superhero and a teenager. It today's modern social media world, it is impossible that spiderman would not become a worldwide phenomenon. He isnt merely a back alleyway avenger like he was in the 60s or 70s before widespread social media.

It seems in the process of expanding Spider-Man's world the writers forgot to give the webslinger himself something to do. As it is, this comes off more as an ensemble comedy than an adventure, despite great pains to raise the stakes by having Peter and his friends traveling around Europe. The brightest point here is, ironically, Gyllenhaal's dark villain Mysterio. Unfortunately, the entire premise of illusion and misdirection doesn't serve the movie well because the twists are telegraphed way in advance and it just feels like you're waiting for the movie to catch up with the audience. A few good moments but utterly forgettable. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Friend says that this film had few drawbacks, but it’s more interesting to dwell on the problems. One, he says, is its reuse of the Spider-Man: Homecoming plot (and also the Iron Man movies) of solving self-inflicted problems (something that I actually like a lot about the Iron Man movies). In that respect, the plot isn’t innovative. To respond, I think. Two, so many of his problems are, again, self-inflicted by way of Peter’s own painfully teenage naïveté that Friend didn’t feel catharsis when those problems were solved, because there’s no indication of growth if we’re starting are adventure at a deficit.

That having been said, we all agreed that MJ was a fabulous component of the film. She plays awkward teenager masterfully, all elbows and knees, stiff and slouched and guarded. Someone wrote to me that the usual drama for Spider-Man come from his split-identities being at odds, the trade-offs that Spider-Man makes for Peter Parker and vice versa. Peter must make personal sacrifices that come at the benefit for his super hero persona, and when he tries to make decisions that allow for growth in his personal relationships, they come at the cost of his effectiveness as a super hero. (This is, by the way, the most I have ever cared to think about Spider-Man, especially this iteration of Spider-Man, since he is essentially just a plucky kid with a lot of expensive gear, so thanks Marvel for making me think so much about how this **** superhero works.)

The film does a wonderful job of accounting for the things that actually make Spider-Man unique, his “Peter-tingle,” his slapdash clothing line. He’s no longer just a weaker, less durable version of generic super heroes + webs. He’s someone who has some powerful sense of the peripheral world of threats in the vein of what they could have but didn’t quite do with Dr Strange and are trying to do but haven’t had enough time for yet with Captain Marvel.

Posting this a little too late to have any effect anymore, but it’s a worthy addition to the canon even if it borrows a little heavily from the past. The end-credit scene is actually a lot more disturbing and brain busting than anything else in the film.

Its so hard to be impressed in the well worn genre especially with this character having kick started the superhero reboots back in 2002. Inexplicably though this MCU/sony collaboration really works and again plays to the comedic strengths of tom holland and the talented supporting cast from SM homecoming. While I enjoyed this far more than I expected, I felt it was missing that special moment to really exceed my expectations and really deliver a more impactful storyline or touching performance. I laughed a lot throughout this film and marvel really have nailed the action side of the genre in 2019. Cant wait to see where they go next!

Os Vingadores acabaram, não há ninguem no controlo dos heróis e não existe nenhum herói que se assuma como o novo lider.

Contudo o filme é do Spider Man e Peter Parker não desilude. Pontos Positivos:

To whoever made the decision to make each half of the film feels like a single film, WE ARE NOT FOOLS!

I mean, even if we are, I doubt that there's a single person who would believe there's a superhero film that's an hour long! The teen-centric stuff that worked perfectly in Spider-Man: Homecoming didn't work here at all because everything was rushed and all over the place in the first half including the uninspiring fight scenes that made it quite clear that the first hour of the film isn't the entire film (as if this wasn't already clear!)

The film overall is dramatically bland. And that's also due to the same, and probably only, aforementioned major issue. That said, the film improves so much after the first hour. The second half is way better in almost every aspect. The CGI quality and the performances (especially from Tom Holland and Zendaya) are the only two things that are exceptionally great throughout the entire film.

To be honest, and despite all I've said, I can't say that I was bored at any moment. It's tasteless and underwhelming from both the action and dramatic standpoints; it's a fast-paced superhero flick that offers a lot of twists and surprises (regardless how poorly executed they are.) Spider-Man: Far from Home is a fun ride, but it's far from being one of Spidey's best films.

He feels like spider-man, he acts like Peter Parker and yet the situations, the setting and the strange occurrences, this persistent need to make him the next'Tony Stark' and have him be in these 'Larger then life jerk-off affirs' are NOT very spider-man. Especially since the character is in his high-school years. Homecoming did a great job at demonstrating the daily struggles of this Peter Paker as spider-man. It had mood and felt authentically like something peter would go through at highschool. Far from home, I don't know, fees incredibly distant from the moral philosophical emboddiement of the character. I just don't think anything has quite captured the true nature, and daily struggles, of Peter Paker and spider-man as has the film 'Spider-man 2', here there is a moral story, a character faced with these challenging odds, Far From Home, and this new irritation of the character lacks so much of this.

This is hard for me, very hard for me to explain. Something just doesn't feel right. I'm looking forward to the next spider-man film, but damn. They have to get the philosophies of the character correct. I don't want a spectacle. I don't want a typical aesthetics. I want the soul, and the heart of Spider-Man, the humanitarian dealing with 'Great Responsiblity' and the struggles of Day-in Day-out life whilst having to protect those around him from great threats. i want the character to truly feel at odds, mentally broken. Homecoming did a much better ob of this. Hopefully next time it well be better.

Its not really "Boring", but it feels as if it was written by different writers.
Action sequences no longer feel like a story/event is unfolding, but more about how we can cram as many unique camera angles/posses in as possible.
Once the fight starts, you already know everything that will happen, the only "unique" situations, are the ones that dont use combat/action. (But do lack good dialogue to compliment them.) I did zone out during the action sequences, and the "unique" sequences, since they were no where near as good as the prior marvel movies. (Neither in spectacle, nor in story progression.)
The actual "plot" feels too forced, making peter change his "go get em" personality too much, for the sake of plot. (plus there's not really much going on with the plot, except the end credit scene, which is the only part worth seeing.)
This is no where near as bad as Thor2 or Ironman2, so if you like the characters, its still ok to watch.

But be warned, even the comedy of this movie is different.
In the prior movie(s) the comedy is a byproduct.
Meaning, things would be set up for the progression of the plot. Comedy acted more as a means to make fun of the awkwardness of situations the plot required.
If somebody has to do something weird, they make fun of it.
But in this movie, they completely set up the plot solely to make jokes. The set up has nothing to do with the plot, nor its progression, and nor are they makeing fun of situations. instead, the plot changes direction, so they could squeeze in jokes that just arent as good as prior ones. It ends up coming off too corny.
Example: Two people start dating for no real reason, other than for a gag. They also stop dating, also for a gag.
It had no reason to be there, it doesnt help the plot, and it wasnt funny. (It was predictable due to how jokes run.)
Another example is Flash. In the 1st movie his Dads car gets taken, and wrecked, yet he loves spiderman in this movie, all for a joke. In the prior, spiderman called flash by his name, in this one, flash is surprised spiderman knows who he is, all for a joke.

This isnt to say all jokes in the movie are bad, there's some funny ones. But too many of the jokes arent funny, and are the "reverse" method of "It doesnt take itself too seriously". Instead, it jumps from taking itself too seriously, to not taking itself seriously enough, and hardly meets in the middle.
Hopefully Sony learns from this, if they ever plan to use Tom Holland again. (Probably not, they look at money signs, and see the billion dollar profits, and dont see connections like "people came to see this, to see where the MCU will go after endgame. And some people grew to like spiderman in the prior movies, so they hoped for an equally good story here."

This has a lot of similar vibes as Venom did, but w/o the initial flare of "new/shiney" that introducing a new main character has.

One thing that didnt sit right was when Peter gave the glasses to mystrio. Tony gave them to him as his last act and he just gives them away. I know that uncle ben wasnt shown to die in this universe but spider-man would never do something like that. There is a youtuber cosmonaut who said something very wise about spider-man you can tell if a writter get him if he choses Mary Jane over something else and in this movie he went for Mary Jane. Other then that the action scences performances and the villan where all great. The movie also had a good scence of humor which was fun to see this isnt top tier marvel but its still very good Expand

EVERYONE HEAR WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR, HOW ELSE COULD IT GET 10/10?
**FOR WHOM DIDN'T SEE IT YET**
My recommendation is for all people who rather see a show, adore excessive comedy and who are passionate of a fantastic story, because the narrative does not taste good. In general the technic part and the story are the most that you are going to appreciate of this production, sure thanks to his $164 million of budget.

However, from my point of view, the director dedicated more to realize a show or an spectacle with a repetitive message than to direct a movie; if you appreciate a good story with a good drama, script, with deep characters and if we would add his excessive humour then it'll be a long-road with acid at a halfway and bitter flavor at the end.

Kids and adolescences with emotional and social insecurity have to come to see this movie, it probably like you and empathize with you, as it says, everyone hear what they want to hear, Besides, on a realistic story there are a lot to confuse, sorry to learn.
* About acting, just to highlight that one of them made his extra work, even though it was not intentional that the character ended up shooting out his own butt.

**ALERTING SPOILERS**

Pay tickets for the theater and the first to appear were 2 clowns and a lion with a challenge; It seemed interesting until they started joking. I thought that it would be momentary, but really since I entered and observed, I’ve already known how it was going to end, so it did. However, the kid who was behind me really liked, and Who didn’t? It was showy and with a lot of humour, I think I let myself tricked by the banner which seemed made of gold but it was just gold plated.

8/10 - Cameras, graphics and scenery: Definitely the technic part of the production was the best; the cameras were very precisely. Besides, the fight’s graphics and sceneries were very credible. Without them it would be a lesser to appreciate of this movie.

7/10 – Story: The movie shows a fantastic adventure story with comedy of a young hero. A villain hide as hero and with a high tech to make illusions is a huge plus that without this, it would have been catastrophic.
4/10 – Acting: The reason I decided to go was because of the performance on Nightcrawler of Jake Gyllenhaal, and even though in this was not in his quality performance of that movie, it was the most notably in acting. However, about his work the opposite would have been the most logical: “The fake transmitted much more and was more credible that the real character". Probably as a result of an extra work, but unfortunately ended up dulling his own character.
About the other actors, they all worked with what the director said, but we already know how the directing was.

3/10 – Directing: This production was too big for the director. The story it was very interesting and here is where it comes my critic. Why the excessive comedy? Some of them were necessary, but all the way through and Did it also has to be used to tell the story and to change sceneries?, all this didn’t let us appreciate any characters development or a good script and I believe that the director dedicated more to use cinematographic technics instead of telling a story; of course it was flashy, but a real movie is much more than just that.

3/10 – Drama: The personages flow process were stagnated by the excessive use of humour, that to the end, instead of having a comfortable walk it felt like a rock in the shoe.
3/10 – Script: Not too much to talk about this, the writer had little time, was new or bad; definitively the only who overworked here, even though was not in favor of the movie or the character.
3/10 – Message: Kids and adolescences with emotional and social insecurity problems have to come to see this movie, it probably like you, as it says, everyone hear what they want to hear. And who doesn’t want to hear a story to overcome his insecurity problems and much more when it’s so realistic. Besides, they probably just want you to follow the marvel stories in order to consume $$, Of course, they need more than its 275 million people who watched and its $1100 million on sales.
Definitely it will cure you because everybody is Spider-man and of course who doesn’t have money, Further, a real story is always appreciated in order to learn things of life, Finally, hoping that the 32 million children with symptoms and attention on mental health who watched were cured by this story.

5/10 – Summary: The story, cameras, scenography and graphics were the best of the movie; and of course there are important factors that add a plus to …, but to what? It was like place a Tesla’s or Ferrari’s case to a Chevrolet VEO, from far it would seem fast and showy but when you drive you realize that it is just for a counter and not for a real good movie.

8/10 - Cameras & scenography
7.5/10 - Graphics
7/10 - Story
4/10 - Acting
3/10 - Directing
3/10 - Drama
3/10 - Script
1/10 - Message

The cast is so diverse and loving it makes me want to see more. If I had to change one thing about this movie it would be some of the cgi. Spider-Man is all about the realistic features and possibility that in our world this is possible. Some of the cgi looses that feeling and drags down the emotional potential.

The movie has a good implementation of funny moments, but again, it exploits sometimes this element a lot that ridicules the Spider-Man character who does not a big personal growing. Besides, the actress who represents MJ does not finish fitting with total naturalness. In other words, the movie is better than the previous one since it has better action scenes, a better villian and a better recreation of the spider-man universe spite of we cannot find a spider-man that convinces a lot as a superhero totally.

Jake Gyllenhaal excels in his first superhero role (since ‘Prince of Persia’?) Tom Holland continues to be perfect as Spider-Man/Peter Parker — and in ‘Far From Home’, he’s raw and the most vulnerable he’s ever been.

With its high jokes-per-minute ratio, this may also be the MCU’s funniest entry yet. But it’s also trying to be emotional and dramatic. In the first half, it’s a decent globe-trotting, teenage romantic-comedy affair. Later, it becomes super comic-booky with dizzying but stylistic visual sequences. It may come down to personal preference whether you appreciate this tonal shift or if you think it’s tonally confused.

‘Far From Home’ also tackles relevant political themes (which I can’t spell out here because it could easily spoil the plot). If you don’t recognize them, the movie will definitely hammer down those themes one last time in the first end credits scene.

I really would’ve given this 4.5 stars, but as a hater of expositional dialogue, I couldn’t stand one character’s lengthy speech obviously meant to tell audiences what was happening. It was too in-your-face to be satisfying.

Dont get me wrong, I still like this movie, but I wanted to love it. The movie tries way too hard to make you laugh constantly that it feels like you can never take it seriously. Homecoming, as well as other Spider-Man movies, at least balance out the humour with serious and emotional moments. But onto the positives, like Homecoming, Tom Holland and the rest of the cast gives great performances and the story overall is really cool. I like how it takes place in Europe rather than New York, which is very unique for a Spider-Man movie. Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio is great; I like how rather than being a straight up villain from the get go he appears to be a good guy. But its pretty predictable that he was going to turn against Peter. The action in the movie is great, especially those scenes where Peter/Spider-Man is moving through Mysterio's visions (those scenes are simply amazing and should have been way longer). Overall its a good movie that Spidey and MCU fans will still enjoy, despite maybe being a little too heavy on jokes. Expand

Mysterio is a cool villain, and he's served well here, both by Gyllenhaal and the script. But Spider-Man/Peter is again a whiny brat who learns no lessons. He lucks into doing the right thing and gets everything handed to him. He makes no sacrifices and loses nothing. Imagine you have to make the choice between saving the world and going on a field trip where maybe you kiss MJ (imagine this is a choice that is actually a "real tough choice"). But instead of having to choose one you just automatically get both because choices are for losers. That's the new Marvel version of great power. With great power comes more robots and tech and hey superpowers are kinda lame too now that I think about it. And wow, the Stark Jr/Iron Spider stuff is so thematically unwarranted and completely off base. Expand

“What the fu - !”

After the devastating, yet spectacularly epic “Endgame”, I was incredibly curious about ‘Far From Home’ continuation on an event of a satisfying conclusion. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Spider-man was always my favorite hero growing up. I think it’s the grounded side to the character that I connect with the most. When the movie began with a “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston, I was both hooked and emotionally moved.

‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ is a solid adventure that’s self aware enough of it’s own cheesy plot. From start till finish I was entertained with some of the jokes and how great of a character Peter Parker/Spider-Man truly is. The movie itself approaches ‘the snap’ with the sense of “meh, not a big deal”, type of humor, but grief is always afloat.

This also contains two post credit scenes that’s one of the best in the franchise. Trust me, everybody’s reaction in the cinema was priceless.

Tom Holland once again made the web shooter his own and with each entry seems to smooth into the character - capturing both the nerdy side with awkward humor, but also having the weight on his shoulders to live up to Tony Stark’s legendary image. I thought Holland is fantastic during the more hard hitting scenes when the situation gets too heavy for Peter, which reminds the audience the human side of the hero.

I also thought the scenes between Peter and MJ were so sweet and quirky. I’m glad Zendaya had more to do this time around than the first movie, and isn’t playing the stereotypical superhero's love interest.

Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio was both charisma and a absolute blast to watch. It’s unfortunate that I can’t go into the reasons why, as fear of taking away the mystery for people who haven’t seen it yet. Lets just say they did the character justice and Gyllenhaal (as usual) did a great job.

Jon Watts certainly has improved in terms of directing action sequences, which I would imagine it being tough for him since he came from a small budget background. While still a bit lackluster in parts, but the set pieces and the execution is much better. The way he directs the Mysterio segments can be best described as a trippy nightmare that some shots have implanted in my head as I’m writing this.

However, my issues with the first movie in terms of cinematography and humor sadly still stands - more bad this time as the journey around Europe with beautiful and breathtaking views. I’ve been to Venice a few years ago and they wasted the opportunity of showing it off. And again, the humor is always placed in the least appropriate parts after something dramatic happens.

There’s a few predicable scenes scattered through out and it’s annoying when the movie acts like it’s a huge shock.

Also, I can’t be the only one that thought the transition of the opening scene with Mysterio to Whitney Houston song “I will always love you”, was a little jarring and out of place.

Overall rating: Despite the issues, ‘Far From Home’ is another solid entry from our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. A few years ago in my ‘Homecoming’ review, I noted about that the heart and soul of the Raimi films were missing, although now with time passed and new thoughts, the heart and soul is always there, just presented in a different vision.

The plot is pretty obvious. I took a guess on what the plot was and I got it mostly right. About as memorable as the homecoming, but still enjoyable to watch. The end credits science was my favorite moment in the whole movie

Spider-Man: Far From Home is, on its own, a good superhero movie. It does nothing that the MCU franchise hasn't done before, but while that makes this film a bit disappointing, it is still a fun summer blockbuster.

While Zendaya and Holland's performances in this film are once again good, following up their solid acting in Homecoming, the writing of this film leads to unexplained changes in Peter's character. His character is inconsistent with other versions that we have seen of this character and the lack of explanation leads me to feel that these changes only occur to service the plot of this movie, without keeping the larger scope of the franchise in mind. In addition, some of the dialogue is poorly written especially between Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio and Holland's Peter Parker (but nevertheless, the film does nail the writing regarding the interactions between Peter, Ned, and MJ). The end result of this inconsistent writing is that the twists and turns of this movie become extremely predictable especially for someone who is familiar with Spider-Man lore (although I do concede that any film is more predictable if you go in acquainted with the source material). In trying to not be too harsh on this film (which I actually found quite enjoyable), the quips are well written and the special effects are amazing (the best we have seen form an MCU film since Doctor Strange).

Ultimately, Far From Home is another Spider-Man movie. Although I found the plot and pacing to be disappointing at times, I feel that this movie accomplishes what it sets out to do: make a fun summer blockbuster. The most important relationships in this movie are portrayed well and drown out the poor acting/writing that hurts others. If you enjoyed Homecoming, you will at the very least find this film enjoyable. It is far from a masterpiece and a bit disappointing, but it gets the job done and is worth a watch.

Given that the last two Spiderman movies were excellent, this is even more of a disappointment. The actors were top notch, the visuals and scoring were as well, but the plot had a number of very obvious holes and the action has way too much slapstick than you'd expect from the Marvel Movie formula.

Essentially about 10% of the entire running time has the smarts of a fart joke, and that wastes what could have been a fabulous script - the main antagonist was compelling and cast with a great actor.

It was all perfect until the middle of the movie, there was one scene that almost destroyed a movie to me (won't spoil)
The ending was perfect and acting and the humor were top-notch. Still can't top Homecoming, but you should see it :)

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Spider-Man: Far From Home is an ingeniously good movie, making Spidey in the MCU a much more noticeable character, cause in the previous movie, he looked not very powerful. This one brings a new villain, new problems, and a smile on the face after watching the movie. I recommend the movie, but although he is very predictable. That's all I can say. Expand

I have loved Spiderman since my local library offered the original comics in bulk. This Movie gives one of the classic villains an almost perfect portrayal.

The trailer doesn't do this movie justice, but there is a good reason for that.

Works much better than Homecoming. Better villain, less ludicrous plot. Still too much teenybopper silliness, overplayed tropes and dumb in-"jokes". But overall, this has a semblance of a heart and is an entertaining way to pass a couple hours.

I love Spider-Man, he has and always will be my favourite superhero. And after watching this film, for me, Tom Holland has become the quintessential live-action Spider-Man, he fits the role like a glove.

This film balances the funny moments with the more serious/sad scenes really well. I wouldn't say it's laugh out loud hilarious, but I was chuckling at quite a few scenes and some line deliveries. The action was great and the final big fight was particularly cool and fun to watch.

Some may not enjoy the teen romance elements to the film but I liked it a lot, Tom Holland and Zendaya have great chemistry on screen so none of their scenes together felt awkward or bad. It's tough to say where I put this film in terms of best Spider-Man films, I'll have to watch it again to see how I feel.
