Bullet Train feels like someone crossbred Kill Bill with a Final Destination movie. There’s a universe where Bullet Train works — lean harder into the gaudy, neon-pop anime aesthetic, ditch the too-clever character work, and add some honest-to-God jokes into the mix. Critics are so wrong about this one, this is a fun movie with some great action and funny moments throughout. A great time from start to end. I guess unless a movie fills its runtime with Oscar bait the critics just don't want anything to do with it, so pathetic.

Joyful Tarantino-Ritchie-style smash-up. I had so much fun watching this. Visual amazing to look at, good writing, good characters played by good actors and quite dumb but funny story. That's enough to make the film excel in a flood of mediocre movies.
