This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Awful camera, its so dark 80% of the movie so you can hardly see what is happening.
Story is totally pointless, movie basically ends at the same point it began, whole concept of wakanda is idiotic, at the same point they have frickin flying ships and stuff they are still at the level of the caveman, obviously cpr still didnt progress...
Also during fights they throw guys from Talokan to the water like its a bad thing for them???... Shuri gets spear through her spine but obviously it is no big deal, she can still walk like nothing where on the other side they can't revive someone who just drowned, great logic :P

I give it 2 for cute orcas :)

ONE MCU movie which is better than Thor 2 or Eternals.

but these costumes ... dude ... they are so ugly.

Partly really good story. partly crap.
the water scenes... aquaman was better. DC was there before with quality quite clear.
Danai Gurira played really well. absoulter hammer. Also Lupita. Angela Basset I found in the ratio even quite weak.
but really the worst thing are these costumes. no idea how that can/could win awards.
absolutely ugly. then these non-explanations. honestly i thought dominique thorne played riri really well.
but why can she now just be the next iron man??? if they had at least known each other. or at least said she was a big fan, was saved by him... something... but so. yes am n super brain and copy that just ... sorry mega bad story.
and then ironheart also looks like crap. since when does the black panther suit also have "Stark technology"?
Namor I found well played, well brought into the story. finale is so naja. but wait. could be good.
all in all very mixed. with ugliest costumes.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was sceptical of the first movie because of the way Hollywood was marking the movie; I ended up loving it and it became one of my favorite Marvel movies. Ryan Coogler was two for two as far as I was concerned; Fruitvale Station was amazing and Black Panther was too. Coogler insanely became a director I was going to look out for and eventhough some of his work didn't initially grab me, I was gonna seek out everything he had been involved with, then I watched Wakanda Forever. I hate this movie so much. I don't who's fault it is but this movie is a disgrace. I can't believe it made what it did at the boxoffice. Trash. Great trailer. I was super amped. So disappointed. They better revisit how T'Challa died, like it better be a main plot for a future Marvel project, that more is revealed. Like Skrulls killed him or some other big bad. Ironheart didn't belong in this film and those stupid suits Shuri made, so stupid. Also I'm tired of the MCU underpowering and undeserving characters(Namor)! Expand

I’ve never been so bored in a marvel movie. Whoever wrote this should be fired. The action made me feel like I was watching power rangers without the fun.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Admittedly a fun watch, great action sequences, rich bright colors, locations and characters, but it drags in a few spots where the movie stops to preach, and no Black Panther in a Black Panther movie means this was misnamed. Also, a slap in the face of the people you entertain means you lose them: while the celebration of African and Mexican culture, art and tradition provides a wonderful backdrop for the movie and a great learning experience for young and old, the fake woke narrative about all bloodthirsty colonizers murdering, raping, pillaging completely civilized and peaceful people, villages and civilizations is burning itself out of fuel. This cherry-picking of history is tiresome, but I suppose it should be tolerated in a fairy tale. Also... the puny ankle wings... lol. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It felt like a collage of a lot things that might seem nice thinking about them, but ain't very coherent in fact.
Riri William character felt so flat, so off.
I didn't have much hope for shuri's black panther and i still was dissapointed, barely watchable tbh.
Will give some credit for the T'challa (Chadwick)'s dead handling.

Still, I was absolutely willing to enjoy the film and while it had its moments, it just didn't really keep my interest. The film suffers from a lack of main protagonist and central thesis and didn't feel like it really had one core narrative thread I could follow. Mainly, it felt like the entire film had no spine but rather large and overly-developed subplots that we would bounce back and forth to. That type of story structure can work for other films but I just didn't think it worked here. I also thought the film could've been significantly trimmed to focus in one the most important elements of the film. Instead, it felt way more bloated and drawn out than I thought was necessary. Overall, I don't think it's a bad film by any stretch of the imagination. It just felt without direction and a little lost. I would be intrigued by more but at this point, I'm still tired of superhero films generally so I'll pass. Expand

Ryan Coogler is able to transmit the sincerity and pain of grief through Shuri, who grows and matures into her own character due to the trauma of losing someone close to your heart. I always enjoy when an MCU film decides to let its audience breathe and hold onto the emotions being conveyed on screen. Namor is a good character that I hope to see more of, you can feel his ruthless presence but also the compassion that his humanity offers. My only complaint is that in order to improve the pacing of the film , I would've cut out Iron Heart from the film as that storyline was a bit rushed. Overall, the Black Panther mantle will live on and the success of this film is undeniable. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

Features a horrible new adolescent character that can do anything, has no flaws and is a self-promotional setup for future movies/shows.
Main problem of the movie? It just drags.
Ultimately, the primary thing holding this movie back is that, like its title, it goes on forever.
