With the right mix of people, this might be a decent multiplayer game, but playing against the computer in random battles gets old quickly, and the campaign doesn’t provide enough depth or challenge to make Wrath Unleashed appropriate for more than a rental.
  2. Ultimately, Wrath Unleashed’s biggest problem is that it sticks too firmly to concepts that were fresh twenty years ago, a mediocre strategy game and a mediocre fighting game wrapped up in one mediocre package.
  3. What I find most surprising about the game is the distinct lack of replay value.

It is not a unique idea because I've played a game that is exactly he same idea called Unholy War. There should be some way to jump or evade better than strafing. I think they could have made the charactors a bit better and a way to balance out VS mode so it's not unfair when a sentinal attackes a god. To be able to bring your characters back to life makes battle take even longer and the temple points idea is a bit lame. There are alot of other little tweks that could be made but now I'l say the good things. It has a good principle, The limeted charactrs are good ideas with interesting moves, arena mode (the mode where you just fight) is good fun, alot of people I know enjoyed it and I think the unit's points and value idea evens the fact that some characters are better than others out. Overall I think it has all the elements for a good game but it doesnt have everything as good as it could, thats why I gave it a 7/10. Full Review »

Somewhere between a strategy game and an action game. It's not bad, but like a lot of games that mix genres this way, it excels at neither.Somewhere between a strategy game and an action game. It's not bad, but like a lot of games that mix genres this way, it excels at neither. With enough skill, small guys can deal decent damage and help take down the larger ones in combat. Health remaining from battles carries over to the strategy board, so healing and capturing buildings play a key role. Would be cool for multiplayer online. Full Review »

I think it's a unique concept blending strategy and action that works well on a console. It can be difficult tho......................................
