In UBOAT you control the crew in order to control the boat. You look after their physical and mental health, because if the sailors are hungry, tired and their spirit is low, there's no chance of winning even a skirmish.

UBOAT is a WWII submarine management simulator that blends naval combat with resource management in historically accurate missions and tense survival scenarios. Despite its detailed mechanics and atmospheric visuals, the slow pacing and punishing gameplay can feel exhausting, leaving the experience both engaging and draining.

UBOAT is a response to a niche of gamers and a very original addition to the Xbox catalog that really has a lot to offer, but still has to solve many problems before it can be considered a valid option to pay a good amount of money for. Once the major bugs are ironed out and the UI is perhaps tweaked to better adapt to Xbox, I think the game may appeal to at least a portion of PC gamers, although for now, I think they're better off enjoying the title on that platform where it's already sold over a million copies.
