In the year 199X, young Evan must survive a bleak life in the snowy backwater of Landis, Oregon.

One fateful day, his existence is forever changed by the dark influences of a strange visitor from another world.

With the guidance of his new ally, can Evan stand up against schoolyard bullies? Will he have the courage to take on the equally abusive adults in his life, including his own infamous father?

The Prince Of Landis combines the character-driven story and dialog of a visual novel with the exploration and puzzle-solving of an adventure game.

Will you embrace this challenge or continue sleeping on the couch...?

The Prince of Landis is far more successful as a story than it is a game. It’s a take on the ‘80s-kids-find-something-supernatural’ template, but pushes it in a lonely, unsettling direction that also manages to feel original.

    Great Little Gem

The Prince of Landis is a great little gem of a game. It has very good story line with the dialog of a visual novel. It also offers exploration, problem solving puzzles of an adventure game.

Before we get more into it, the game offers two dialog version at the very start. One is the original and one is the, lets say censored version. The original dialog contains homophobic slur so if your not really into this type of stuff or find it offensive, then it would be best to play the censored dialog version. Saying that, the censored version still contains swearing etc.

You play as a small town boy in the town of Landis whois always getting bullied and needs to find a way to stick up for himself. One day he finds a crashed space craft with, yes you guessed it, an Alien! From here you will be given objectives from the Alien to complete. I dont want to get too much into the story as it might spiller it but overall is a brilliant plot ands story driven game.

Its a tad too short but sometimes it good to play a short game and enjoy it without it dragging on and becoming a chore. The game has a wonderful little soundtrack and nice classic visuals that you would find it retro style point and click adventure games.

I highly recommend playing The Prince of Landis!
