In food terms, Takorita Meets Fries is a single, cold chip. As you eat it, you’re aware that there should have been more of them - perhaps there was at one time. It tastes alright, but it needed a little more time in the oven to be satisfying. And a waiter keeps promising that more will come, but on the basis of that one, cold chip, you wonder whether it’s going to be worth the bother.

Overall, if you’re after a game that is engaging, worth your time, money, and effort, then Takorita Meets Fries is not really a game I can recommend for you. If you want some easy Gamerscore, then £4.99 is the price you’ll pay along with five minutes of your time for eternal glory to be imprinted in that coveted digital score.

    Anyone fancy some Fries?

Takorita Meets Fries is a Visual Novel game where the main character, Princess Takorita travels to the land to discover different food then she is use to living under the see in her Kingdom. Its a fun looking game with friendly looking characters and some humour in the dialog which is also a nice touch.

I did find some of the dialog to be a little out off place where some words dont make sense, maybe this is just a quick Japanese to English conversion without doing its correctly. Saying that tho, the game us fun and if your into visual novel games with a touch of adventure, then Takorita Meets Fries might fill your belly between games.

The art work is fun looking with some popping colour but I did find the soundtrack to be a tad annoying so I had to lower the volume on this one.

The game offers multiply endings which for some will provide some value here but to be honest I couldn't play this game more than once. While I enjoyed the fun side of it, this visual novel really didn't do it for me.

    Not all food taste great....
