    To put simply, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is an addicting and relaxing farming game with a solid gameplay loop and lots of replayability. Definitely one of the better farming games out there, so put down the sword and shield and pick up a watering can for a change—you won’t regret it.

    Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life remains one of the best that the series has to offer, managing to preserve what made it so special in the first place with its unique emphasis on an aging town and cast of characters, while also raising the bar with new content and improvements. While more recent titles in the series tend to offer distractions in the way of more mechanics and options, A Wonderful Life is a return to form that focuses more on the life sim and farming aspects that fans fell in love with all those years ago.

    Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is a farming game that lets us live a virtual life full of emotions and decisions. We can marry whoever we want, have a son or daughter and see how our farm evolves. We can also enjoy other activities such as fishing, mining and crafting. It is a very complete and fun game for lovers of the genre.

    It is great to have one of the classic farming games on modern consoles again, but STORY OF SEASONS: A Wonderful Life can’t hold a candle to many of the more modern offerings.

    While the game still have issues from its past, mostly with having too much downtime and the short seasons, alongside the inability to shipWhile the game still have issues from its past, mostly with having too much downtime and the short seasons, alongside the inability to ship everything from your farm. It still a good game that runs well on xbox with fine controls. I hope that we get a remaster/remake of Tree of Tranquility/Animal Parade, as they are, in my opinion, better games then a wonderful life… Expand

    This more of a watered down version of the original game. It makes it less of a challenge if none of your animals can die and that you don't even have to feed them. I get that the gameplay was changed to be easier on new players, but this was a core mechanic in the original. At least give an option to change it back with a difficulty.
    If you're a casual gamer, you might be fine. But play the original Gamecube version if you can.    … Expand
