    One of the best game I have played in a long time.. I'm 27+ hrs in and I have barely scratch the surface. A must play for any Si-Fi space lover. Currently I am focusing on the main story but I have been told that the side quest missions are even better cannot wait to play them all. This is one of those classic Bethesda games which you are going to play for years to come just like Skyrim,One of the best game I have played in a long time..     This is the best game to come out in years. Bethesda/Microsoft crafted an amazing experience that will be played for years to come. I've gotten about 30hrs of play and the game continues to surprise me. The writing, presentation & sheer scope of this game is amazing! If you love scifi movies or ever wanted to travel in space and go anywhere you will not be disappointed and will notThis is the best game to come out in years.     Starfield is one of the best games of the year 2023, we've wanted a good game from Bethesda for too long and here it is, very nice story and a lot of good fights, it's a very addictive game fallout in space but way better !

    Absolutely amazing. Started playing Day 1 of early access and I have not gotten much sleep lol.

    The game is EXPANSIVE! It can be a little overwhelming. There are so many options, things to do, and ways to play that when I am halfway through a playthrough I am already thinking of what I want to do differently on my next play through.     I hate Bethesda Game Studios for making hit after hit. TES, Fallout, and now Starfield!? 2.5 days of playtime, this game still amazes me with choice and customization. There’s almost TOO MUCH to do to a point where I don’t know what to do! Should I collect delinquent loans for the bank, pillage random passerby's out in space, smuggle contraband in and out of orbit,    Bethesda does it again.

There’s almost TOO MUCH to do to a point where I don’t know what to do! Should I collect delinquent loans for the bank, pillage random passerby's out in space, smuggle contraband in and out of orbit, build my outpost to harvest and sell goods (or store said contraband,) or continue on the main quest line!? That’s not even scratching the surface. Sure, the game has its’ trivial flaws such as loading screens but it’s not nearly as bad as Oblivion’s loading screens, the time to load has hugely and significantly decreased since previous titles. I’m honestly surprised how fast everything loads with how much is crammed into this game, especially in high density areas, on the Xbox Series X. With how many times I’ve relayed TES series and Fallouts, this game will no doubt take up all of my free time for the coming months and, like the others, will age like a fine wine.    … Expand

    Giving this a 10 to offset the idiotic snoy reviewbombs. I'm reality the game is 8/10 usual Bethesda jank but surprisingly a lot of fun. I only got the game for modding potential but actually surprised how hooked I've been with the vanilla game.     It's not a perfect game but the care and love with which it was made is admirable. The soundtracks are wonderful, full of atmosphere and all created using a symphony orchestra. The number of quests is off the charts as are the settings and the feeling of immersion as well. Infinite and open to any mod. ok it's not at the top as well    Its a classic , vast , infinite bethesda's universe.

    El juego es aburrido es muy lento en empezar, la dificultad es súper fácil te lo pasas con el hacha estilo turok, las batallas espaciales fue copy de ST: Battlefront, la infumable IA es absurda ese juego está incompleto lo sacaron apresuradamente, Todd H. Ya debería jubilarse ojalá pudiera reembolsar mi dinero que pague por GP perdida de tiempo

The game is everything Bethesda fans have anticipated for 25Starfield, the biggest surprise of 2023: both for being everything we wished for and for being not enough for the hilarious overhyping. For those who were incredibly excited by what was shown during every showcase and trailer, you’re gonna be more than satisfied. To remove any suspense, the game is perfect, but not flawless. The game is everything Bethesda fans have anticipated for 25 years, a new world, by new standards. Starfield marks the transition of the studio from a leader to a pioneer of the RPG and WRPG genres. The game starts out slow, the intro feels like it is hours while it lasts only a few minutes, upholding the tradition of iconic yet tiresome intros Bethesda gave in their previous games like Skyrim, Oblivion and Fallout. But once you get off Vectera, your journey only yet begins. The world is amazing, although very huge and lonely, it is more filled than you can imagine. The graphics though, look good, but not revolutionary. They sometimes look outdated, or if you put enough zoom and focus on them, but overall, it is by no means unacceptable. Gameplay is a big step up. The UI is confusing and not very organized, but adaptable. The animations and movements never felt more alive and human in a Bethesda game before. And the player immersion takes some time, especially for the lack of guidance (mine personally was not letting me know to scan before attending New Atlantis, where I wasted 15 mins wondering why I can’t land in the latter), but once it takes effect, it’s rewarding and brilliant. Combat is great, not revolutionary of course, but fun and engaging, whether it is firearms or just melee. Story is interesting, but I couldn’t finish it because I was already doing side quests, so that’s a great point. Soundtrack is instantly iconic, very well-made, soothing, epic. I’m not embarrassed to say that I spent 10 minutes on the menu just listening to it. Now, overall, the game is as mentioned earlier perfect but not flawless. It’s an engaging masterpiece. And at the moment, it’s my GOTY. Many people may agree or disagree, but to each its own. Starfield, from me, gets a solid 9/10.… Expand

    Starfield offers an atmosphere and immersion that I haven't seen in a video game for a long time, its atmosphere is captivating and you really feel that you want to play more and more, but that doesn't prevent you from seeing its disadvantages:
    Pros:
    Incredible world, fun exploration Good variety of weapons Encourages exploration and curiosity Incredible character creation system and    Starfield offers an atmosphere and immersion that I haven't seen in a video game for a long time, its atmosphere is captivating and you really feel that you want to play more and more, but that doesn't prevent you from seeing its disadvantages:
    Pros:
    Incredible world, fun exploration
    Good variety of weapons
    Encourages exploration and curiosity
    Incredible character creation system and abilities
    Fun combat system

    Disadvantages:
    Outdated graphics engine
    S series shows a little bit less performance and popping
    Various bugs(Fixable with updates)
    Poor optimization (Fixable with updates)

    If you have gamepass I highly recommend it as a fun game, if you want to buy it I would recommend that you wait a bit for a discount or update, in both cases I highly recommend it.    … Expand

    Easily one of the GREATEST GAMES I have ever PLAYED! Everything is there for you to enjoy! Personally, I love and adore the combat/guns! And the space suits! Oh also the Spacecraft customization! Lol. Definitely a 10/10 experience for mE.

    I played this game in early access and it is a wonderful RPG and I barely even scratch the surface of it. I only have done like two or three main story missions and a bunch of side quests, and I’ve only explored like five planets so far.

    If you've ever enjoyed any Fallout or Elder Scrolls title this will be an obvious buy.
    Anyone who tells you that No Mans Sky, Elite Dangerous, or Star Citizen are "better" are
    A. Comparing apples to oranges and
    B. Most likely haven't played those games.

    This game is absolutely majestic. There's no way it's under 90. It is an incredible, great RPG, with a space setting that has never been achieved in the history of video games. The only way you can't like this game is if you don't like the RPG genre or the space theme. There's no other way. This game will go down in history. Without a doubt, the greatest game Bethesda has created.

Yes there are too many loading screens, yes you cant land your ship on each planet, but the pros outweigh its cons.     Jogo do ano, o melhor lançado em 2023, boa jogabilidade , gráficos incríveis , paisagem de planetas lindos, historia com grande profundidade , historias secundarias que te levam a explorar bastante os planetas personalização excelente, tudo que um grande jogo tem, haters da sony negativando o jogo em peso, como o esperado!

    Fanboys can review bomb this all they like. Whilst the game is not without flaws, taken as a whole, it is a stunning achievment. Even as I write this, I cannot wait to get back into the game.

    Easily the worst game I’ve ever played. I played for ten hours and it’s just awful. Play dough OG Xbox graphics, loading screens on top of loading screens, and more glitches than all other bugthesda games combined.

    I really do not understand the low scores here. This game is different from other Bethesda game in that exploration is fundamentally different. There is not walking out of the cave or of the vault moment. There is not pick a direction and go moment. But overall the critic review average is definitely fair. There are some problems with the game (the segmented felling travel being the biggest offender here) but there is so much more that is of such high quality that I cannot fathom the low scores. I'd say anywhere between an 85 and a 90 is definitely fair for this one. In a year or two down the line YouTube is definitely going to be filled with Starfield retrospectives about what a good game this is and how people overreacted to it's downsides in their reviews.… Expand

The game does start slow to introduce you to the game after that though everything is up to you take your time and explore or get into some trouble with any of the various factions and people you encounter throughout the game. O jogo esta completamente mal feito. 1º Os gráficos estão horriveis, o jogo teve um enorme downgrade praticamente tudo. 2º A IA do jogo é muito, mas muito ruim e com certeza a pior inteligencia articial dos jogos de grande empresa, se voce jogar HALF LIFE 2 de 2004 vai ver que os NPC respondem e tem reações muito melhores do que de Starfield. GTA V e Red Dead 2 então nem preciso comentar e explicar que humilha totalmente o jogo. Os soldados não possuem uma reação natural, os combates vazios, armas que da forma que está nem faz sentido pois até o machado consegue dar mais dano. 3º A fisica do jogo é horrivel também, todos os planetas voce anda como fosse na terra mas pula como se fosse na Lua, porque não ter um veículo terrestre?, voce entra em um planeta com gravidade alta ou baixa e saisse com algum veiculo da nave para coletar algo que pudesse ajudar a melhorar os equipamentos para facilitar voce poder caminhar no planeta, craftar itens bacanas, upgrade no veículo para poder ser usado na agua. Voce atira na agua nao tem efeito, joga granada nao tem efeito, a cachoeira é muito feia, muito horrorosa, voce consegue ver os poligonos da cachoeira.
    Ainda na fisica, onde que esse jogo é realista? Voce pula de 100 metros cai na agua sem nenhum efeito de agua, não perde HP pelo impacto e ainda por cima consegue sair da agua pulando 3 metros ?.
    4º NPC...mas que preguiça é essa da Bethesda em não variar NPC? Estamos em 2023 e isso é totalmente inadmissível , tem jogos ai de 2013 que acabam nem repetindo o NPC e se repete é muito dificil de ver, mas no starfield é demais.    … Expand

    I’ve put about 15 hours into Starfield and it’s one of the best games I’ve played. Been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a new game this much. There’s something about BGS so hole player games that are just so good. This game will live on for a long time.

    Also funny that the ponies think leaving negative reviews will actually affect anything.

    I can't say anything about the game itself because I won't play a "shooter" with 30 fps. Very sad, that they did not include a 60 fps version, but looking to pc performance, it's possible that the game won't run at any settings in 60 fps on an Xbox Series X due to bad engine optimization. Very Sad, I really was looking forward to this game.

    The developers have put a lot of time and effort into Starfield and it shows by the bucket load. This is the biggest game from Bethesda since Skyrim... it's even been labelled as Skyrim/Fallout in space, and this is exactly what we got with extra garnish and polish. The longer you play the game, the more you get out of it, and it's with this addictive game loop that just keeps you wanting more. It's not perfect and does need some fine tuning, but I'm sure these will get ironed out overtime as the game grows with DLC and updates.

    Do yourself a favour... it will make you a better person. Pay no attention to the user scores, take off the sheep skin, play the game and make your own mind up.    … Expand

    Something that stuck out to me when I started the game was the graphical fidelity and overall look and feel of the game. There is heavy usage of procedural generation in the terrain and planets which means there will often be textures that look murky or washed out--but the handcrafted content is such high quality visually that I almost forget I'm playing a Bethesda game. With hundreds of hours split across Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, I've become very used to the antiquated Creation Engine in all its visual soupiness and technical fragility. But Creation Engine 2 is a frankly astonishing step up for Bethesda's engine. When rumors first appeared of a revamped engine, I was skeptical as these games have always had a certain jank to them. But CE 2 is a true improvement that brings much-needed modernization to the Bethesda formula. You can climb ladders now! This may be the new addition I'm most excited to see return in future BGS games. Clamboring, boost-pack jumping, and the gravity system all also feel excellent to play around with. The physics of this game are also a blast, especially in Zero-G areas, and have become some of the most unique moments I've had in a BGS game almost instantly.

    But enough with the engine--the artistic core of the game largely works for me. As a huge fan of sci-fi, real world space exploration, and the mystery and intrigue that comes along with the thought of humanity exploring the vastness of space made me primed to like this game. It's clear the amount of passion and love poured into Starfield and everything new it brings to the table, even if some parts don't quite stick the landing. Something that does, however, is the music. Bombastic, intriguing, or mysterious, it manages to evoke themes of Elder Scrolls and Fallout, while still feeling distinct and "spacey". Some of the writing was a bit corny for my taste, but some of it was very enjoyable (this is true for character writing such as dialogue, but also narrative writing & plot, as well as questlines). A couple of the gameplay systems can end up feeling cumbersome later in the game, and dauntingly large early game, but if you're willing to commit to them, such as operating, building or upgrading your ship; diving into crafting weapon and suit mods; or the intensive network of resource mining, so you can craft resources to further build mods, or sell for credits, etc. There is a mountain of content and interwoven systems that seem too large to handle, but will get easier as you stick with them.

    The gunplay may be the most noticeably improved system in the game, to the point where it nearly doesn't seem like a BGS title. If Fallout 4 was an RPG first with a so-so FPS haphazardly glued to it, then Starfield is an FPS first with excellent RPG systems masterfully infused. The guns feel, play, shoot and sound so tacitly. They look visually unique, cover a wide range of styles and damage types, and even at 55+ hours into the game are far and away one of the most satisfying components of the core gameplay loop.

    The main story may or may not be for everyone; if you like screwing around with BGS's design choices and just living in their worlds and have only loosely engaged with their narratives, then you will more than likely enjoy your time with Starfield no matter what. But if the "big questions" about why humans exist, what our purpose is, and are there other intelligent species out there don't captivate your mind--then you likely won't find the main story all that compelling, even compared to Bethesda's other games. But if these questions pique your curiosity, then the main questline will hold your attention long enough to see what it all builds to.

    Starfield is nothing revolutionary, but it was never proclaimed it would be. And if you were expecting No Man's Sky or Star Citizen, then you'll be disappointed--because that's not what this game attempts to do. It's a space RPG, not a space sim.    … Expand

    Great game. If you like RPG games, exploration, single player games, great secondary quests, it's for you.
    Don't give attention to these people who are sitting on their chair, typing and thinking they are warriors fighting on internet to protect billionaire companies. It's on gamepass, try it. It's a great game.

    The perfect space rpg, There's so much to do on every planet, so many random encounters, and so many ways to play. You can join the military, you can be a cowboy, a trucker, a freelancer, a pirate, so much more. And perfectly encapsulates the spirit of exploration. There's something new around every corner.

    I haven't had any loading screen issues, and I'm not fast travelling at all.    The perfect space rpg, There's so much to do on every planet, so many random encounters, and so many ways to play.     It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

    While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
