    If this was a last gen game it would’ve been a 9 but my good this game feels and looks so dated, I love Bethesda games but this right here is a low. First of all the amount of loading you do during this game is crazy. The graphics is crap, I’m on a series X with LG C2 and this game looks like a cross gen 360- Xbox one game there is some parts that look great but 95% trash but I won’t evenIf this was a last gen game it would’ve been a 9 but my good this game feels and looks so dated, I love Bethesda games but this right here is a low.     This game is a last gen game. With so much media hype behind it that it convinced me to pick it up. after buying it and playing it for 10 hours or so I realised it was a scam. Holy balls, this this utterly boring and broken. The staunch support is probably Xbox guys wishing this was good.

    Starfield is a masterpiece. I traded in my PlayStation 5 because I was tired of walking simulators, don't get me wrong I love a good walking sim and am not ashamed of it. Starfield just does what other games on my old platform don't, it gives you pure freedom of exploration.

    Une aventure épique dans l'espace. Starfield tire le meilleur parti des précédents jeux du studio, avec le meilleur récit de science-fiction sur l’espace jamais créé. Bravo et merci à Bethesda pour ce chef d'oeuvre !

    I waited forever for this game and it fell flat. 30 frames is nauseating to play. There is nothing “next gen” about slideshow action. On top of that the game is full of inconsistent textures. In some areas the assets feel as old as morrorwind, for example trees in the starting cities are so bad they stick out, for all the wrong reasons. Throw in bad AI, the illusion of 1000 planets toI waited forever for this game and it fell flat. 30 frames is nauseating to play. There is nothing “next gen” about slideshow action.     Copy and paste for ol’ bethesda. Same game we’ve all been playing since fallout 3. Boring story overall. This was supposed ground breaking. What a let down.

    This is not the game of the decade, and not the game of the year. Definitely not.
    This is a $25 half-baked game. A Beta version.
    Zero optimization, crashing sound and picture on a relatively powerful computer. Black screens, no sound, 30 sec delay sound etc. (other games with similar or higher machine requirements run smoothly)
    Usual Bethesda engine bugs, flickering objects but fewer.
    Stupid UI.
    Unkillable main NPCs.
    Fast travel is good you can fast travel everywhere and at least you don't have to look at empty boring ugly pixel piles, no need to wanrering, exploring, no need to look at cut-scenes and it only loads once for minutes, not three or four times.
    The missions are primitive, can be broken, some of them bugged
    The skill system is basically good, but could use a lot of fine tuning.
    The inventory system is not well thought out and breakable.
    E.g. Your ship's cargo hold is full, so you throw away stuff & resoursces on your ship.
    When you rebuild your ship all the stuff on your ship goes into the cargo hold. Ooverloaded it multiple times (but still funcioning).
    Every time you rebuild, the ship's equipment is regenerated. What you can sell in the spaceport kiosk... you rebuild and sell, rebuild and sell again...

    Fui jogar Starfield depois de experimentar Final Fantasy XVI e foi uma decepção. Achei Starfield ruim demais. Os gráficos dos lugares são muito bonitos e bem feitos, mas fica só nisso. NPCs muito mal feitos e sem nenhuma expressão, planetas completamente vazios sem nada pra fazer e a IA é extremamente ruim

    Cumple y supera con mis expectativas de lo que esperaba de este juego en el momento en que supe que era de Bethesda. De lo mejor que he jugado en muchísimo tiempo. Llevo al rededor de 30 horas y siento que apenas de descubierto solo la punta del iceberg. Juegazo!!!

    The game is massive! Gives you the freedom to do anything you want. Great for those who love exploration in games. No any serious bugs and glitches found. Interesting side quests. Very addictive game.

    Game is absolutely mid... Bethesda misrepresented the game as an immersive sim, when all you do it just fast travel between planets with loading screens galore. Absolutely no point spending time building a ship because no space travel. Let alone 30FPS on series X!!! Absolutely unacceptable in 2023

    Gave it a good try, even with the bad news I saw coming about this game. A huge portion of the game is just bloat. Then you need NPC's to color the world. But they are also bland. There is some good acting but the outdated faces pull me right out of the story. The battles with constantly the same enemy, finding the same things. It gets old really quick.     The game is so bad that i don't have the words to describe it. Empty planets which are boring to explore. It is a next gen game only for the sake of it. Loading screens, weird NPCs with words looks, looks straight out of a bad horror movie.
    Avoid this at all cost.

    Currently unplayable on XSX for a lot of people. Over 1500 comments in the Bethesda discord alone and there still has yet to be any kind of official statement on it. I will change my review if it is fixed and I can play longer than 20 minutes without my console shutting off completely. As of now I have refunded my purchase until I can actually play without nearly console breaking crashes.

    this game is a loadscreen simulator. no planet exploring(you cant land on planet because its a jpg), no space exploring. just menus and menus and menus. ai is dead and doesn't react to anything. no face animation. engine is outdated. better play skyrim.

    Exploration, or Lack Thereof: Starfield's promise of a vast, breathtaking universe was nothing but a cruel joke. Every planet I visited was a soulless, barren wasteland with nothing remotely interesting to see or do. It's as if the developers forgot that exploration is supposed to be fun.

    Storytelling? More Like Storytorture: The story in Starfield is an insult to storytelling. I've seen more engaging plots in children's picture books. The characters are so one-dimensional that cardboard cutouts have more depth. It's mind-numbingly boring and completely devoid of any emotional resonance.

    Gameplay That Makes You Want to Scream: Playing Starfield is like trying to run a marathon with both legs tied together. The mechanics are clunky, the combat is a chaotic mess, and the quest design is the definition of tedium. I'd rather do my taxes on a Friday night than subject myself to this torture again.

    A Technical Nightmare Beyond Belief: Bugs? Glitches? Starfield has them in abundance. The game is so riddled with issues that it's a wonder it even runs. From game crashes to save file corruptions, it's clear that quality control was a foreign concept during development.

    To sum it up, Starfield is not just a disappointment; it's a cataclysmic failure of epic proportions. It's a slap in the face to RPG enthusiasts everywhere, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. This game doesn't deserve a 0/10; it deserves to be erased from existence.    … Expand

    Fallout 4 re-skin in the space, super buggy and zero in-depht lore. Bethesda is using the same engine/design since Skyrim without any major improvement. It is a 2015 game in 2023.

    Full of bugs, 2015 graphics and 30 fps in 2023. Low quaility looking characters, no free roam and you can't explore everything. Glad is only on Xbox and Pc so al least Nintendo and PlayStation don't get this atrocity.

    Honestly can’t say much about this game as I could not get to run well enough to play more than 8hrs. Could not get it to run smoothly above 30fps on my 3060ti unless I played windowed. As is the game gives me nausea. What I was able to play through did not impress me all too much in terms of RPG depth, especially coming off BG3.

    This is by far the most immersive video game experience I've ever had. The stories that are told, the graphics & sound design are all top notch. Don't listen to these fan boys that are doing everything in their power to review bomb this game. Just try the game and I bet you will fall in love as you're entrenched in this massive game.

    This is another great BGS game, a fantastic open world sandbox experience. While yes, exploration is tackled differently this time around, it's still an absolute joy when you got used to it. So many interesting locations, people, stories, creatures and planets to find.

    What is this? Theres loading screens everyone I can barely get through the game without a loading screen every couple of minutes. A nice thing though is the fact that you can fly from planet to planet nice Easter egg. The npcs looks really bad.

    Boring game, honestly feels like fallout 4 in space. Put about 20 hrs into the game and just don’t care to play it anymore. Lack of a map is also annoying. I also think they purposely left vehicles out so we wouldn’t notice how small each empty patch of a planet really was.

    Es un juego que en principio se escucha bien, pero sobre el papel está todo mal, la exploración es repetitiva, muchos bug la inteligencia artificial muy mal desarrollada, un juego que no atrapa para nada, y lo más interesante que es armar tu propia nave después no tiene sentido, los enfrentamientos se sienten de hace 3 generaciones atrás, en fin un juego que pudo dar más y se quedó corto.

    Starfield is the best Bethesda game I’ve played in a very long time. The ability to not have to stick to a linear quest line is second to none, I love being able to go off and adventure on my own without being constraint to where I go and how I get there.     Now, while most of you gamers (95% or more) didn't see this as much of anything - I raised a suspicious brow. They're selling a graphics card that, if you purchase it, comes with the game. Does this not* strike anyone as a bit odd? (Was my thoughts). Yet there was all this other talk of being able to stream the game, on a lesser system, and actually play it. So if you think about this, they're pushing new graphics cards with the game included, should you purchase the card... ? (Light Bulb)
    Thinking no more about it, we stuck with the preorder only to get the game on the 1st, and get hit with this.....
    YOUR GRAPHICS CARD DOES NOT SUPPORT THE GAME.... And that's* when it hit me! The whole selling of the graphics card(s) wasn't so that they could get you a new one - it was because they had already planned to deny most grahpics cards - OFF RIP! That's correct - YOU READ THAT RIGHT - Some gamers (PC) with elite graphics cards were denied at the door to play this game. all because Bethesda made a greedy deal - to try to get you to buy a new graphics card.

    And that was when I gave up on Bethesda! From this day forward, I will only purchase their products when they go on sale $20 or less. When Greed makes you sh** on loyal fans, you have lost. Sure Todd and his pals made a lot of money on this game - but you lost a great deal of fans and supporters. May your greed* be your downfall.    … Expand

    I've walked on a planet for 15 minutes and it was completely empty. This game tricks you into thinking that there's a lot to do, while in reality it is just a big empty open world.

    It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

    While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
