5/10 would be honest for this game or, more accurate to call this a load simulator. No open world, no epic storyline and just boring colours. I am glad gamepass exists, so I may not buy it

    Personajes/Historia: 10
Excelente historia, personajes memorables y excelentes actuaciones.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Expand

Disclaimer: I am a HUGE Fallout fan and forgave all the bugs just for sheer entertainment value. I am not really even a fan of Skyrim and didn't finish it, but was a big fan of Morrowind and Oblivion. All this being said, I knew the standard Bethesda had set for themselves.
I can honestly say I was bored as hell for the first couple hours, then I started understanding the scope of the game and getting the hang of where stuff was. I couldn't help but feel like I was playing a Fallout sequel after a while so I started really getting into it. Obviously the biggest complaint people have is the true sense of exploration via space travel. Fortunately I couldn't care less about that aspect and would be turned off by flying around in space for hours. So that is probably what sets my opinion apart from some. I love completing quests and feeling like I'm roleplaying Firefly most of the time. Blasting enemies is endless fun for me. I personally am a fan of fast travelling everywhere on games in order to utilize my time in the most efficient way possible, so you won't hear me complaining about that whatsoever. The travel system is not a problem for me.

Sure there are "Bethesda" bugs and glitches, but nowhere near as many as previous Bethesda games, at least what I've observed. Customization is top notch, in ship building and everything else.
if you don't like Bethesda games to begin with you OBVIOUSLY aren't going to enjoy this one. For me, it is more than what I expected because I never invested in the hype of this game.

If you've been waiting forever for Fallout 5... well here it is. And I'm loving it.

Great game! Has the usual bethesda jank but better then skyrim launched. If you love bethesda games you'll probably love it. If not, well then this game probably won't change your mind.

Lot's of hate about "boring" planets or lots of walking. After 1500 hours in elite dangerous the planets in Starfield are so much better. Sure, tons of them are empty and relatively boring, but without the moments of isolation and desolation you lose the sense of emtpy space. The developers even said that was part of the design philosophy and I 100% agree with it. Landing on an airless, desolote moon, scrounging for some resources give vibrancy and life to the rest of the game.

Some may find this boring. I won't critize what you find boring but I really appreaciate the game for what it is. Empty and desolate spaces sourounded by gems of custom conent and suprisingly good procedurally generated sites. I also like the more natural and real look compared to my 300 hours in NMS.

Pretty sure people that have said it is boring didn't play NMS or Elite Dangerous. I loved elite, but man the planets were completely empty with nothing to do. Literally couldn't land on the planets for almost 4 years. You could just fly around in space. No walking, no talking, no npc's, missions were click a menu then fly for 30 minutes to land and click another menu. I still loved the game, but you literally don't do anything but fly around and look at pretty planets or shoot space pirates. No story, nothing. They have added some bases now so you can collect rocks, then transport those to another menu screen. On PC they finally added the ability to walk around, but for 6 years elite dangerous was like the most boring planet you can possibly imagine in Starfield and that was the entire game unless you liked flying.

In point I did enjoy the flying. Jumping into a system and seeing huge gas giants, black holes, nuetron stars, etc. It was a space game about flying through an absolutely completely empty galaxy. So now you have starfield. You don't fly from planet to planet but the interactions in planetary orbit are exactaly the same as elite dangerous.

I played over 300 hours in NMS sky, bought a PS5 just to play it. Horrible, boring, samey planets, no variance once you landed on a planet, every character looked the same as every other character from their race. No spoking dialogue, just horrible.

Now you have Starfield, all the action in planetary orbit as elite without having to fly 3 hours to a boring desolate rock of a planet, land, and find absolutely nothing. Starfield chose a different route. It's human stories with a space theme, it's not xwing or elite. It's not a space flying sim. It's sci-fi in space.

Again, if you find that boring that's fine, but to objectively say bathesda made a bad game because of their design decisions is not correct. I think wordle is the dumbest game every and 100 million people play it. I'm not going around bashing it as a crap game. It's not for me, I don't like it. Starfield is the same way. For those that enjoy it it's absolutely fantastic. For those who don't they think it's boring and empty. To each their own.

It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
