The immensity of this game has completely enthralled me like nothing else. Holding an entire new universe in the palm of my hand is truly breathtaking. With countless stories and narratives to explore, this isn't merely a game; it's an absolute must-have experience. It's important to note that many of the reviews here seem to be misleading and may be intended to harm the overall rating.

After clocking in over 30 hours on Starfield, I can genuinely say this is the first game from Bethesda that has truly captivated me. Yes, the pacing is slow and the narrative can be pretty generic, but the game possesses its own unique charm. It feels like playing a complex RPG from the early 2000s, but supercharged with numerous variable choices, updated graphics, and a geeky portrayal of space exploration.

If you're searching for a non-stop, action-packed sci-fi RPG like Mass Effect, I have bad news—Starfield isn't even close to the pacing of ME2. You'd be better off looking elsewhere. However, if you're tired of relentless action and want to immerse yourself in a more realistically "dull" space exploration experience—complete with resource grinding, outpost management, item crafting, and occasional shooter elements—then this game is for you.

As of now, Starfield is the only game from Bethesda that has kept me engaged for more than 20 hours. So, if you're not looking for an epic "chosen-to-save-the-galaxy" sci-fi adventure, but something that grabs your attention in a different way, Starfield is definitely worth a try.

Un excelente juego RPG, definitivamente Bethesda se voló la barda con esta joyita que si bien tiene algunos fallos lo compensa con todo lo bueno que tiene para ofrecerte.

Fantastic game ship building is amazing so much to do places to go and explore things to find people to kill Bethesda have done an amazing job around 50 hours in and had no bugs or glitches few minor texture pop in moments in places but considering the scope of the game this is in no way a big deal.

Seemingly created by neckbeards who (when not creating Microsoft Office products) enjoy nothing better than a night in sifting through surplus inventory menus and load screens. It’s not ‘Skyrim in Space’, it’s ‘ Death by Menu’.

I had very high hopes on this game as Bethesda promised ground breaking innovations in an rpg game never seen before but to be honest I am really disappointed with the game. This game is nothing special and a complete waste of time exploring 100s of barren planets and infinite loading screen. Character models are very outdated as well and story is boring. I feel like I've barely scratched the surface when I see where others are at lol Was able to hijack a spacer coyote, something I'd recommend for early game! Graphics are good, so far no bugs on my end besides freezing while I stream, but that's most likely my internet. NPCs are as corny as ever lol There is very little in regards to tutorials, but if you've played fallout you can figure things out. If you haven't olayed fallout, you might want to look into outside resources for help on research, crafting, xp, and skill points. The game really is a breath of fresh air, when compared to so many games that have come out in the last few years it's nice to go back to a single player you can really grind our and make your own. I do wish, however, that there was an online co-op mode to hang with friends. Expand

So I've played starfield already for quite alot of hours my playthrough is on very hard which at times can be challenging but not imossible and I first want to mention I've never ever really liked any space games prior to this so getting invested in a game like starfield was always a risk for me.

I actually really like this game though its got alot to the game and the game as a whole
So I've played starfield already for quite alot of hours my playthrough is on very hard which at times can be challenging but not imossible and I first want to mention I've never ever really liked any space games prior to this so getting invested in a game like starfield was always a risk for me.

I actually really like this game though its got alot to the game and the game as a whole feels gigantic something I've always wanted from a game was longevity and not to complete a game in under 2 hours and feel like £60 is down the drain and I'm not forced to rush through the game unlike some of the actual reviewers who probably just did the main story missions and based their reviews off of that.

This game seems very familiar to fallout and I've not really played fallout as much as some people but I think what Bethesda does with games is very unique and should be appreciated more.

I like the shooting mechanics in this game for some reason to me it feels better than fallouts shooting mechanics minus not having vats in this game which was very unique to fallout I just felt off with the mechanics in fallout for some reason it felt really sluggish in that game.

The ship building is probably one of the most interesting things I've seen in a game and I've not done much of it but from what I can see it looks very advanced and there's certainly gonna be alot of great ship designs out there.

I love the exploration in this game you can always find something new no matter where you're it seems and the idea of doing research on planets to give you an idea where certain resources are for all the planets is very well thought out and wow its gonna take a very long time time to search for everything.

People moan about frame rate in this game yet here's me playing on my series x having a blast, once your eyes get used to the fps it becomes an afterthought like it doesn't exist plus single player games don't necessarily need to be 60fps or above that in my opinion should be for multiplayer games that demands those kinds of frames to make multiplayer consistent.

My biggest concerns with this game is the map navigation/design it feels really just hard work at times just to figure out certain things and the local map is pretty embarrassing aswell honestly. Bethesda should probably consider adding a different section of all the planets you've discovered from A-Z so it makes it alot easier to revisit those planets.

Also a few times enemies have glitched through walls trying to shoot me though the wall its quite funny at first buy probably something that should be fixed.

If you liked any of the fallout games then I'd most likely say you'd like this game too, for me I didn't really have any expectations for this game considering like I said previously I could never get into space games but from what I've played I know I'm still gonna be on this game for alot longer than I thought I think it's a great game minus the few glitches that do happen and the graphics are good aswell.

Bethesda fans are happy, those who expected it to be something else other than a Bethesda game are disappointed. As for me I am thoroughly impressed and entertained with the first new IP from Bethesda in 25 years. There are so many things to do, and the writing is great, I haven't encountered a bland side quest in all of my playtime. 60fps needs to happen though, if a ROG Ally can do it I know XBox Series can.

The game seems to be overambitious and in the end just fell flat. It's mediocre compared to "what could have been" that they promised. I'm at around mid game and don't know if I want to push more time into it.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Expand

The games decent and enjoyable for what it. Although I was hoping Bethesda may have improved there formula by now. I personally loved morrowind, Oblivion, skyrim and Starfield is all that bundled into a complete package that Is a superb piece of art. I give it a 9.5 and the .5 I take away is for the graphics and lack of vehicles on a planet. Would of been great to work your way up at a higher level to build some type of spacecraft for land travel on planets while discovering. I assume the low ratings are from people who always throw shade at hyped exlusives, and xbox in general but what can you do. People with hate and the gamers will skate, especially if the juice is worth the squeeze, and starfield most definitely is!. It just takes a few hours to get going and get connected to the game. It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
