Feb 7, 2025Even if it suffers from ups and downs and we feel the lack of some features from the past (including a real end-game that takes us into the future era), Sid Meier's Civilization VII fully succeeds in modernising and improving the historic saga, thanks to the introduction of game systems that make the whole experience smoother, more satisfying and engaging. Highly recommended for both veterans of the series and newcomers.

Mar 4, 2025Even after investing many multiples of hours into Civilization VII, you’ll continue to be dragged back in. Much like most of the franchise, it's a real time-eater, and once you start it's hard to stop. There may be a bit of a dumbing down in systems, but as someone who has come back to the series after time away, I appreciate the change, even though it continues to feel familiar.
