Reminiscence in the Night is best when it tosses the gameplay aside and concentrates on what it wants to say. It’s a dream-like novella about memory and its ability to lift us out of the dead-ends we create for ourselves, and - appropriately - it manages to stay with you after its short fifteen minutes is over.

Reminiscence in the Night felt like a cross between point and click and visual novels, with a passable story. This was a nice change of pace for the usual Ratalaika visual novels, The point and click aspect offered some good interactivity, and I found myself enjoying this more than some of the other titles. Of course, cheevo hunters will still be able to blast through this for some quick gamerscore as well.

    Amazing Short game!

Reminiscence In The Night is a short visual novel game with elements of a point and click adventure. You play as a character that has no name so the game lets you input your own making for a better experience in my books.

Your character has somehow lost his / her memory and is locked inside his / her apartment with only your belongings to help you discover your memory once again. You will get help from your laptop friend, Sofia.

The game features great art style visuals with one amazing soundtrack that really gets going towards the end, it gave me goosebumps!

As I said its a short game but does have multiply endings so replaying this game would help uncover the story more.

I would highly recommend this game if your into these types of games or if want to dive in for the first time without getting the full visual novel reading experience.
