    The story of Genso Chronicles is good, and the gameplay is satisfyingly grindy, with the creation of a better weapon delivering quite a decent feeling. The bond system is a bit strange though, but then, it’s always nice to have something different in a KEMCO game.

    Genso Chronicles is a mostly enjoyable retro RPG that you certainly won't regret playing even if it can sometimes be a bit too repetitive and frustrating. Plus, if you love gathering and crafting then you'll enjoy your time with it much more.
