The game as a whole is not bad, it plays quite cheerfully, but there is quite a bit of content, the game will drag on for 1 month no more and is quite expensive, the only thing you can play in gamepass.

In itself a good game but not enough variety. Please full crossplay with friends.

It's cool the first few hours but get old really quick. It's very repetitive. Even the new Dinosaurs but taking them out all the same way

After beating the “Campaign” I can say the game is fun, the PvPvE pushes you to explore the somewhat limited customization system. Will recommend playing for those with GamePass. Expand

Fun game but they could explain that there's different game modes when reaching a certain point, the suits are seemingly well balanced and learning to play them is the fun part

When I saw this game advertised I thought that looks great fun! But when I got my hands on it I was bored pretty quick. The time I did play it was fun I mean what isn't fun about killing hundreds of dinos!! But with the PvP side you only get to attack the other players on the last stage of each session(if you choose PvP) and that can only last a few minutes. I will and want to come back to this game in the future when there is a little more content and hopefully it will sway my mind to give this a bit of a higher score. Expand

I would argue that Exoprimal is not a bad experience if you factor in that you can play it on Game Pass Day 1. As a full-priced game it's definitely not worth the time or money. The mechanics are not bad, and the game doesn't look bad; but it never reaches far beyond to exceed your expectations.

This game is alright. Good style just poor execution. Great for playing with a team of friends but if trying to play solo it just doesn't hit that threshold. Needs alot of improvements.

It seems decent and has an interesting story for me to play to the end. But I'm sure its repetitive game modes would set other people off and they would most likely look up a YouTube video for the story.
I'll be honest, I bet no one (including me) would even bother with this game if it weren't on Xbox Game Pass.
Also, why do they have a season pass thing? They're not even F2P for pete

All in all, it was nice but I don't see me playing it after beating it. It's kind of sad cause it had potential.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Don't let other reviews tell you otherwise. The game isn't bad. Would I pay full price for the game? No. Would I get it on sale or through GamePass... Yes

    Pros:

Addicting gameplay, level based progression, and decent suit abilities. No lag with hordes of animation and being attacked by 50 plus mobs. Multiple match variants unlocked by story progression. By reading reviews you can tell the fan base that wanted an instant gratification shooter. Cons:

Feels unfinished, only 10 suits, half of which are just slightly different than the first model, no SBMM, repeatative gameplay to a point. Grinding at its finest. No role queue. Just thrown into random teams that no one wants to fill empty slots. The game takes place in the not so distant future, humanity is being attacked by time traveling dinosaurs. The main tech company runs Exo suits to combat these. The game should have featured two distinct storylines, one PvP, one PvE. PvP you discover what you discover in game now, PvE you fight to protect civilization. The game could have been so much, but falls short.

Overall, Exoprimal is quite a solid game even with its one mode. The amount of variety in the exosuits kept me coming back to the game often. The game has a lot of DLC, but all the exosuits can be unlocked by playing the game and leveling up each exosuit to a certain level. The game also has a good bit of free unlockables that you can get from collectible cards (basically a type of loot crate) in game. If Capcom could include a true campaign mode where you could play it solo or with a team of other players, I could see this franchise being just as good as Lost Planet 1 and 2 (mainly Lost Planet 2) in the long run. Definitely give this game a try if you like Capcom online shooters – I have a feeling you’ll like it if you’re willing to give around 5 hours for it to truly show you what it has to offer.

Exoprimal is an interesting third-person shooter that sadly misses the mark. I loved the potential on offer, but unfortunately, the repetitive action becomes stale very quickly. However, if you subscribe to Game Pass I suggest you give it a go.

Exoprimal is a fun multiplayer in which the way you progress and its content keep it from going any further.
