The game wouldn't bad if it weren't for that awful off-center camera. Character needs to be in the center of the screen.

If this game was made 10 years ago as a budge release it would be okay maybe......

Really bad in just about every sense. Pretty much unfixable. Who's idea was this game.

Got this for free thanks to Gamepass, played for a few hours and can't imagine anyone buying this unfinished product. Should have been delayed a year and then launch as a f2p honestly. Don't waste people time please.

One Caveat, I played this game via Gamespass on Xbox. So my opinion on it's "Value" is biased.

It's probably NOT worth 60$, but is 100% worth playing via gamepass. The "Only one gamemode" complaint is not warranted, Every 10 or so matches you unlock new variations to the one mode, which means I've played almost 75 matches, and i'm STILL seeing brand new variations to the "one mode"

You can't call it ONE mode when sometimes it stops being 5v5 PVPVE and suddenly is 10v 1 PVE vs a massive boss.

It's a REALLY fun game, It's enjoyable, lots of replay value.

this game feels like the mode Overwatch 2 Promised players, and then told them they "couldn't afford"

    Cons:
    * The Capcom ID... Really wish that wasn't a thing. Annoying.
    * Takes about 30 games to unlock all the characters and fun mechanics.
    * Probably not "ultra competitive" this is a "play a dumb game with friends" game.

    Pros:
    * Probably the ONLY game i've ever seen succesfully blend story and Matchmaking.
    * Lots of dumb fun
    * Insane amounts of replayability and new variations.(seriously, there may be "one" game mode, but that mode has probably 11 maps, and 50+ objectives across those maps.
    * No Lag with hordes of enemies. (Like I've encountered over 20 types of enemies so far, they keep adding new ones as you level up)

Game play is boring, not to mention I had a glitch that caused my items to bug out of existence. Honestly shouldn’t download this game until they patch a few things. So as of writing this I’m giving the game a 1.

Even as a free Gamepass title this isn't any good. There are tons of other free F2P games that are way better and more fun and more rewarding than this.

Just a bunch of grinding and loot boxes for absolutely nothing.

I was going to give Exoprimal a 5/10 because I've been playing it via Xbox Game Pass and having a little bit of fun with it but then I saw it's listed as a full price ($60) game on other platforms. This game is moderately fun if you have Game Pass but lord there is a SEVERE lack of content for a $60 game. There's essentially one game mode (Dino Survival) that has rotating (seemingly random) maps and objectives. Over time you access more maps and scenarios but it's still just one repetitive game mode. Most skins as well as a few additional Exosuits (characters) are locked behind the Survival Pass which costs around $10 USD. The game starts out pretty cool, I got hooked into the story but then was incredibly disappointed to realize any story after the first hour is just drip fed to you by little cutscenes after every few matches.

The game plays and looks decent. The mechanics aren't too complex and the combat is decently satisfying. There are 7 Exosuits you can pick from (unless you pay for the extra 3) split between 3 classes, Assault, Tank, & Support. After playing the 7 base game suits, Barrage is by far the most unbalanced. Easily claiming that MVP spot by a mile each game. Otherwise, they all seem pretty balanced in both PvP and PvE.

It is absolutely absurd that this is being sold for $60. I'd understand a price point like that if there were more Exosuits, expansive game modes and more customization options. If you have Game Pass (or just a large disposable income), it'll probably provide a few hours of entertainment but otherwise, don't waste your time or money if you don't like battle passes and stale, repetitive gameplay. It's a F2P game but they are charging $60 for it.

    Shame on you CAPCOM.

What a RIPOFF by Capcom again! Same old microtransactions and battle passes for a game that has no substance and no value. That's why their games are always $5-$10 or in the case, free.

This "game" is microtransaction and loot boxes hell, wouldn't be so bad if they were actually useful. Just bunch of useless items that you have to buy on top of the "game".

Just when I thought I've seen it all. "Weird" is the best way to describe Exoprimal. What were they thinking? When did this feel like a good idea? Seems like the team who worked on this game where not inspired. What is this game? Maybe if the gameplay was fun but it's not. Just repetitive and boring.

I've played two full matches of this game and the first and second match were exactly the same on the same map. Maybe an hour of gameplay and I'm already bored of the game. Plus you're on a team with three or four other players so you can't really tell if what you're doing is having much of an impact.

Gunplay is not interesting. You're constantly holding down the trigger and it auto-reloads; there's no reason to let go of the trigger and sometimes the enemy is difficult to see so you're just shooting at nothing hoping something walks into your line of fire (which it usually does).

Critics are going way too easy on this game- User Scores are correct. It's not fun for even a few hours. You get one good hour tops. Creators of the game should be embarrassed!

    Pros: Seems to work properly.
    Cons: Repetitive and boring!

If only I had knew this garbage was on Game Pass, I wouldn't have wasted $60 on a game that should have been free to begin with. I won't be renewing this garbage anyway, so at least the $60 buys me more time to play this poor excuse of a game. I played this version too, so this entitles me to give you another 0 Capcom. This exo-suit sci-fi Destiny-esque garbage is oversaturated in online multiplayer games. Why don't these developers try a market that isn't overdone, like a GTA Online game? Oh that's right, they are too cheap and lazy for that. I don't recommend this game at all.

Overall, Exoprimal is quite a solid game even with its one mode. The amount of variety in the exosuits kept me coming back to the game often. The game has a lot of DLC, but all the exosuits can be unlocked by playing the game and leveling up each exosuit to a certain level. The game also has a good bit of free unlockables that you can get from collectible cards (basically a type of loot crate) in game. If Capcom could include a true campaign mode where you could play it solo or with a team of other players, I could see this franchise being just as good as Lost Planet 1 and 2 (mainly Lost Planet 2) in the long run. Definitely give this game a try if you like Capcom online shooters – I have a feeling you’ll like it if you’re willing to give around 5 hours for it to truly show you what it has to offer.

Exoprimal is an interesting third-person shooter that sadly misses the mark. I loved the potential on offer, but unfortunately, the repetitive action becomes stale very quickly. However, if you subscribe to Game Pass I suggest you give it a go.

Exoprimal is a fun multiplayer in which the way you progress and its content keep it from going any further.
