If they fix stability then it will be up there with the Tiger Woods golf games. It's beautiful, fun, and has lots of great elements from the old EA golf games. The course selection is great as well.

It's not currently stable though. This may be corrected with the day one patch, however, I can't even get through 3 holes without the game crashing. It's literally crashed 6 times in one

It's literally crashed 6 times in one round so far and I'm still on hole 15. Luckily it saves your hole by hole progress I guess.... The always online requirement is atrocious as well.

Amazing looking game and the only one with all four majors including the Masters. Great job!

Did take be some time to compare to PGS 2K23 and EA PGA, but I'm enjoying EA PGA much more. Some courses looks great in 2K23 while others looks horrible. EA also has many great courses but some are bad, like Wolf Creek...something is off in the graphics department.

EA PGA has nice lighting also on the green. In 2K23 there are beautiful moments where the light comes through the trees but

EA PGA has nice lighting also on the green. In 2K23 there are beautiful moments where the light comes through the trees but often enough areas are too dark, especially on the green.

EA feels more immersive, like I'm there playing golf. I love the small details like seagulls at the beach going all over the place when there is a decent wind. Details like a grey sky and the sun breaking through which causes the light around your player to get lighter and darker.

Many complain about the swing mechanics but I have no issues. You can set the swing speed higher in the golfer's profile. I actually like the swing mechanics more than the one in 2K23.

When you hit the ball it give s a good whack! I also love the different ball trails like plasma and lighting which you can buy, although I believe the prices for in game items are too high.

What I don't like is the fact that you can't reset your career and it would be nice to have a deeper character customization. Setting you characters height and weight would be nice. Not everyone is skinny!

Another thing I really don't like is the fact that you need to be connected to internet for career mode and actually most of the game. I know this is "normal" nowadays, but I don't like it. Once the servers are down, that's it.

In the end they are both great games but I have now deleted 2K23 and will focus on EA.

Well done EA. Hope you will keep working on it.

The long awaited return to the PGA Tour series is a very good one. It plays and runs smooth and it has good features. It is a very good golf simulation game.

Videogame golf is in an interesting position. After years of not seeing any new entries, users are suddenly presented with two big-budget PGA titles fighting for their time. EA Sports PGA Tour certainly delivers a thorough, authentic golf simulation, but it’s also a divisive one. On one hand, the visuals of golf have never been displayed with more realism. On the other, the unresponsive mechanics completely removed me from the experience, ultimately driving me back to the simpler, more-playable 2K PGA Tour 2K23.

EA Sports PGA Tour is a good comeback for virtual golf, but it's a live service game that still feels unfinished and occasionally clunky. It lacks the LPGA Tour and has a slow, glitchy interface with unintuitive elements. There are no tutorials or explanations for those unfamiliar with golf, but it's enjoyable for those who know the sport and will offer more over time.

EA Sports PGA Tour bring you to the field again after a long stand by, but now it’s time to come back to try to be the best Golf player around the world. With impressive physics and amazing modes to get fun and a bunch of content. The king of the Golf is back.
