    Literally unplayable at this point. Hundreds of hours wasted with the swing of the nerf bat. Uninstalled and will not be playing again.

Nada empolgante na season, só fazer o que já fazia mas agora cai item diferente... Triste que um jogo seja caro apenas por ser, nunca por mérito ou algo que justifique. Mas só o fato de não ter um suporte a mouse e teclado coisa mais fácil do mundo de se fazer, só a preguiça justifica e isso já diz muito sobre todo o resto do jogo. E o patch 1.1 tornou tudo que era ruim, ainda pior.… Expand

    The equip menus are a step back from the very slick real time equips in console Diablo 3. Why take a step back?

    The vast majority of the public, on all channels, on all social networks, did not like the changes and nerfs, every day asking everywhere for Blizzard to change and improve what they did and they just don't care about us.

    Considering this is made by a billion-dollar AAA game company over the course of a decade and the vast amounts of lore and groundwork that was laid from previous Diablo games, it's awful. You get two amazing cinematics, 1 of them being the game launch cinematic, awfully scripted storyline portraited through cutscenes. UI feels extremely mobile because the game is catered to console users for maximum profit. Further, they're giving us only a few keybinds and they're massive and glued to under your action bar and cannot be turned off.

    Stop feeding greed, force AAA game companies to go back to the basics of game design and not
    chase maximum profit for minimum effort, ruining every single artistic and fun aspect that good games can bring.    … Expand

    This is a full price game yet there are tons of macro transactions (can't call them micro anymore at these prices) in the game. Its an absolute disgrace. I don't pay full price for a game just to be met with an in-game store that is selling me even more stuff. What happened to games where you could earn everything by just playing the game?

    The Devs keeps on killing the game and the fun with new season update. It is pretty sad to work a lot of hours on your character and next day you log in and find that the character is weak.

The classes are totally unbalanced and some PCs only perform with specific builds more than 30 skills and only 6 are good. It's deadly boring doing secondary schools that don't shine at all. Reviewers give this game too high a rating it deserves 6 to 7 maximum.     Thank you dev's, for giving us the much needed season 1 patch with the nerfs for sorcerers! We really needed that. Thought my def was waaaaay to strong and my dps was overpowered too. And not only for sorcs you did it all the way across the board. BTW this major sarcasm! Thanks for killing a game with nerfs and not listening to your player base.     하지만 지금의 디아블로4는 핵앤슬래쉬 오픈월드의 단점이 많이보인다.
    핵앤슬래쉬 특유의 시원시원한 사냥도 애매한편, 오픈월드의 자유도 또한 퀘스트와 파밍,던전에 따른 수동적인 움직일뿐 다른 요소가 하나도 없다.
    컨텐츠 소모를 늦추는건진 모르겠지만 피로도를 상당히 유발하는 쓸데없는 동선,이동이 너무 강요된다. 마을에 창고와 편의 npc들은 하나같이 멀어 이동시간을 유발하고 던전근처에 포탈없는곳이많아 일일히 마을에서 던전까지 말을타고 가야하고,그마저도 몬스터들이 방벽을 세워놔 중간중간 이동에 방해를 받게 만들어놓았다. 또한 내 레벨에 맞춰 몬스터도 강해진다는 이 방식때문에 내가 강해진걸 느낄수있는건 그저 데미지 수치가 전보다 높게 나오는것뿐 50레벨이나 70레벨이나 몬스터를 잡는 시간소요는 크게 차이가나지않아 성장의 재미또한 별로없다. 그리고 빌드의 다양성을 말했던 개발진이 우습게 지금의 디아블로4는 단 1~2가지의 빌드만 강요된다. 성능의 차이가 말도못하게 크게나기때문이다,과연 어디에서 빌드의 다양성을 찾아야 하는지 궁금하다. 밸런스패치를 자주해 자주쓰이는 스킬을 계속 하양조정할게아니라 안쓰이는 스킬에 대한 수치와 위상등을 패치해 상향평준화를 해야지 무작정 자주 쓰이는빌드라고 너프를 때리면 그에 관련해서 그 스킬을 쓰던 사람들이 열심히 맞춘 위상과 템들은 뭐가 되고 언제 너프될지 모른다는 불안감을 가지고 게임을해야하는지도 궁금하다. 100레벨을 달성하고 선조고유 및 선조 전설로 다 세팅을 끝내면 할 컨텐츠가 단 하나도없다. 이런 컨텐츠 부실함은 적당히 플레이하는 유저라도 단 한달이면 끝을볼것이다.    … Expand

Those small studios have much better endgame systems than Diablo 4 by far with far less resources. Blizzard released this title as a copy of Diablo 3 which was not very well received and basically copied a dated endgame.     Due to the irresponsible patching of the management, the "Rogue" players felt angry and disappointed. Not only did the patch simply nerf the character, but the mechanism of character play itself collapsed, and there was no reason to play "Rogue" anymore after the endgame.

    Nothing but a waiting simulator. These server issues are ridiculous. Good luck even getting into character creation. Queue times for me went from 3 minutes, to two hours, to five hours, to seven hours, and now up to 9. Figured that can't be right so I restarted it. Now it's 16 and a half hours.

    I get that it just released, but that's ridiculous. And it's not even the weekend yet!

    And that they have used this long for make this game... That is bad..
    If you play this game and hope for a good single player experience. Good luck cause most likely you will not have one since it is an MMO. A clear MMO game with a tad single player in it.

Every time. I have been trying since 10 o'clock this morning until past midnight. My network connection is just fine. Ran every possible test, did every stupid little "fix", nothing. No, it is not myJust started playing today. Impossible to play. Over a dozen disconnects during only character creation... Finally got to the actual playing, which gets abruptly terminated after 2, 3 minutes. Every time. I have been trying since 10 o'clock this morning until past midnight. And if the game crashes your hardcore character will die, your scroll of escape will not work as stated and blizzard will tell you it's your fault and to reset your modem. If you play more than two yours Blizzard you will not give you a refund. If you do buy it set a timer for 1:50 minutes. When it goes off realise it is all downhill from here and you still have a chance to make the right decision and get an immediate refund. If you play for more than two hours Blizzard's obnoxious customer service team will tell you you have no recourse, the slew of bugs errors and crashes are your fault and you now proudly own it for life. Charge back via credit card is the only sensible recourse. In Australia you can state that the game is "not fit for purpose" (i.e. excessively crashes, excessively buggy and crippling server lag/wait times) invoke the Australian Consumer Law and get your money back that way. The smartest and most sensible choice is to avoid the game altogether.… Expand

    I bought Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition, took level 14 and folded it.
    Why did you make this game Diablo 4?

    I can't really enjoy the strengths of this game (story, graphics, animation, world, skill synergy) because you constantly sweating that your opponents are just as strong as you, no matter how much you leveled before, no matter what gear you have.

    The monsters are always a few steps ahead and you're catching up. And it’s not easy to catch up, you need to regularly study the descriptions of everything, spend a lot of time studying skills and synergies in order to catch up with monsters that are always ahead in strength.
    This is absurd!

    The game turns into build management to just not die from a rat, and this need is constant!

Unimaginative character creation, missing sets and legendary powers transferrable between items, big focus on cosmetics and microtransactions, game is always-online even on consoles, so it requires a subscription of Xbox Gold or PS Plus. I really doThis game has pretty nice story mode, and where at the end of story all other Diablo games started the fun endgame, here game basically ends. Unimaginative character creation, missing sets and legendary powers transferrable between items, big focus on cosmetics and microtransactions, game is always-online even on consoles, so it requires a subscription of Xbox Gold or PS Plus. I really do not advice to buy this game, this is one of the worst failures of 2023, and even worse failure for Diablo Franchise than Diablo Immortal. Sad sad days for all Diablo fans.… Expand

If you get disconnect mid quest you lose all the progress and items you get on that run which sucks since you might not get as good items next time to do the quest.     This game has the most insane out of control CC in any game ever made. It's absolutely bonkers. Once CC is toned down this review will change. Words cannot begin to express how bad the crowd control is in a PVE action RPG. There hasn't been this much cc put in q game in the history of games ever made.

    The once great Blizzard North was bought out over a decade ago and none of the brilliant minds still work there at what is now called Activision Blizzard. I didn't know this until after buying D4. Blizzard pumps out flashy games with no substance and puts the Blizzard stamp on it to cash in on nostalgia and utilize predatory in game cash transaction practices. Their games are pure marketing & sales. Look at reviews for any of their games in the last decade. I wish I had.

    The fact is, people are getting bored. This is an ACTION RPG with slow-paced action. It's a LOOT hunter with boring loot. This is an MMO with no social aspects. A dungeon crawler that feels more like a game of fetching the stones and putting them on the pedestals.

    The cracks are starting to show in the end game, and people feel like we're playing a paid Beta, you decide now is the time to drop a patch that **** on every build. What better way to push everyone over the edge than to nerf everything?

    Damage? NERF
    Defense? NERF
    Cooldown? NERF
    XP? NERF
    Power Leveling? NERF
    Helltide? NERF

    Sure, some builds needed to be fixed, but you didn't have to completely gut entire classes while you were at it. But the nerfs are not even the point of this post. I don't even care about them. I'll adapt and overcome, I'm not afraid of a challenge. But this patch made me really think, why play season 1 at all? You didn't address a single one of the NUMEROUS valid complaints about this game.

    6 new uniques? If you think adding 6 new unique items for every 3 month season is an acceptable pace to bring some depth to the sorely lacking itemization in this game, I might as well not play until season 30.

    No leaderboards? No in-game trading with an option for self-found mode? No paragon board reset? No Occultist changes? (Cost or listing possible outcomes) No group finder? No stash tabs?

    Nothing, in fact. Not a single thing to shine a bit of light on this **** sandwich. You made the game slower. Mobs take longer to kill, and yield less xp, and we're now gated to lower world tiers until the "recommended" (now mandatory) levels of 50 for WT3 and 70 for WT4.

    So on Thursday, we're expected to start over, but this time it's all slower, less fun, time & experience gated. And all to get to the end and realize what an unfinished and lacking game this really is. Again. Still.

    Maybe if you spend less time trying to "balance" a SINGLE PLAYER PVE GAME WHERE NOBODY CARES ABOUT BALANCE, and more time adding things that are actually fun and immersive, you might sell more battle passes and cosmetics.

The additive buffs are literally irrelevant. This patch kills s1 hype completely. This review is from a lvl 100 Twisting Blades Rogue who despite the insane lack of end game content was still having a ton of fun before this new patch. I'm boycotting s1 and probably won't return w s2 unless major rollback to these changes. This is a " wait till the first major expansion" game now.… Expand

    Not really worth playing or making a 2nd character, they nerfed the experience gain so it's even more boring to get to end game and takes longer.

Factors contributing to the lack of fun: no ended game content, incredibly slow progression both with XP and gear, too few viable build options (mainly because instead of making underperform skills they decided to just make everything worse. This is how not to fix a game 101), the necessity of creating a new character every 3 months to experience the seasonal content, game is "balanced" around powerful seasonal abilities, that are temporary, instead of around the base game, which is the wrong way to balance a game as proven by plenty of other games, including ones from Blizzard, she they should know better. During beta I would have given the game a 9, after patch 1.1, it's a hard zero. I'm disappointed in Blizzard, they've really let their players down.… Expand

    Just started playing this game this month, just about done the campain on my barbarian, was enjoying the game alot. Not got this HUGE uncalled for nerf to all characters. I wont play season 1, i wanted to try another character but i feel like it will be more slow now then it already is. Thanks blizzard for ruining a game that i was still really enjoying playing.

    Diablo IV is the perfect evolution of the series. The many new features make for a truly modern title, giving us an experience capable of keeping us glued to the controller for many hours, without neglecting the historical and most beloved features of the series. If we add to this a technical aspect of the highest quality, a very accessible multiplayer structure, and a huge end-game, we obtain a majestic title that stands as the best exponent of the action-RPG genre and is capable of bringing us plenty of emotions.

    Diablo IV is a social phenomenon and once again sets a new standard for the genre. It's a dark, spooky, action-packed experience. Combat is frantic, fluid and fun, while micro-management of resources and inventory feels better than ever before.

    Diablo IV is the culmination of everything Blizzard has set up before to make one ultimate experience. The world is stunning, drowned in a beautiful soundtrack that makes even the smallest moments feel epic. With a deep character system, satisfying combat and an endgame that feels like only the start of your adventure, it's hard not to recommend. Dig in, experiment with classes, fight some demons and loot some dungeons. You won’t regret it.
