    People trying to degen play this like streamers and youtubers, whos job is speedrun the game to produce content, and complaining the game as nothing to do? The endgame is farming for gear? What did you expect from an ARPG? Diablo as plenty to do and various ways after you reach level 50 and or finish the campaign for you to progress your character.

    Servers where down for about 1 hour 8 of june, and this delusional people, who dont even have the game, so they are playing through twitch streamers, came here and bombed the game. What a sad life you must have to deliberately do this.

    This game is a solid 8/10, good story overhall, great combat, great graphics, well optimized, classes feel fun to play, various ways to farm gear, diferent types of end game.

    Now there are many things that could be improved:
    - Stash needs rework and the ability to search
    - Implement gem only bag
    - Builds feel to "pre built" little room for creativity
    - World bosses could be more challenging

    70$ game, if you value your time at 1$ per hour, you get your money's worth and even more.

    When season launches, there will be a battle pass with free and premium tiers. It's not mandatory to progress your character nor does it award items nor power for your character, mainly cosmetics and currency.    … Expand

    Creo que el juego en sí es mediocre, pero no creo que merezca un bombardeo de calificación cero. Suelo jugar entre las 8 p. m. y las 10 p. m., hora central, y nunca he experimentado ningún problema con el servidor. Aunque todavía hay una falta de contenido del juego final, espero que con el regreso de la temporada y los parches futuros, haya mucho contenido nuevo que esperar.

    The storyline is very impressive. Had so much fun playing through it. If you like grinding and pushing your char to perfection it also provides alot of things to do. Overall a very good Diablo release. Dont understand the comparison with Immortal. Its a proper PC/Console release.

    You can feel where experiments were made with interim games, this game incorporates with much more meaning and fluidity, multiplayer activities in the world. I’ve put in a number of hours now and this new play style feels natural. There are early issues with how balanced certain skills feel on certain classes. Data will drive the changes that will make these settle out at bit. The side quests are sometimes funny, sometimes serious, but voiced dialogue makes them feel part of the world and not something bolted on.
    It would be hard to create a game that would appeal to both the die-hard ARPG fan who will crack out the calculator and spreadsheets to work out the optimal skills, and also the casual gamer who might not have played anything in the series before. I suffer from issues with aiming sometimes on console. But not much else.    … Expand

    Par contre c est dommage que niveau sort nous soyons aussi limité la possibilité d utiliser deux ou trois sorts en plus permettrais d augmenter le gameplay.
    Ce que je regrette depuis Diablo 2 c est que les donjons reste identiqueq et qu ils ne soient plus générés de manière aléatoire comme ce l était sur le premier. Ce qui fait que ça peux vite devenir    Un bon jeu de mon point de vue

    The game was fantastic at first but recent patches have really tarnished my experience since I play sorcerer. It was a 10, but I’m changing to a 8 based on the recent changes. I just hope they make my class viable again soon.

    This is my first Diablo I am actually jumping into and I am having a blast so far, and I haven't had a SINGLE Microtransaction thrown in my face, not a one. No frame drops, no complaints so far in my game. One of the best games I have played this year

    I love this game. I've been playing Diablo since I was a kid. This game is a great nostalgic journey with a great story and top notch graphics. Items and skills seem very complicated but after you deal with them for a while they are pretty easy to get down. I'm glad they are watching and tweaking the game for balance. I'll be playing this game for a long time. It has all the good D2 feelsI love this game. I've been playing Diablo since I was a kid.     This is one of the best games in the Diablo series, the character creation is already one of the best in the series, and the cutscenes are incredible with your character present. The story is also one of the best it's ever been in the series. The only thing I have a problem with, is the server issues. Once they fix the servers for logging in and random disconnects, the score will be a 10.

Personally, I wasn't that big a fan of D3, as it didn't seem to be a significant upgrade to D2, and there were a few mechanics with the marketplace and torment difficulty where I thought Blizzard really dropped the ball. D4 gets the all-important gameplay mostly right. It is challenging and rewarding. TheDiablo 4 is an excellent ARPG. Probably the best I've played since Diablo 2. Personally, I wasn't that big a fan of D3, as it didn't seem to be a significant upgrade to D2, and there were a few mechanics with the marketplace and torment difficulty where I thought Blizzard really dropped the ball. D4 gets the all-important gameplay mostly right. It is challenging and rewarding. The advancement system is deep and thorough. The enemy encounters are much better than the previous games. Enemies have a variety of attacks that they can use, including telegraphed attacks that do large damage. There is also a flask system like Dark souls so you can't just spam endless potions. The end result of these changes is that it is actually important to avoid taking damage by making liberal use of the dodge feature, and the overall gameplay is more difficult and engaging, for the first half anyway.

    There were a few downsides. This is very wordy for a Diablo game, especially with the huge number of sidequests, and the writing is of a much lesser quality than previous titles. After finishing a veteran mode playthrough I found the second half of the game to be face-roll easy, and the last act to be bloated with overlong cutscenes and cinematics. It would have benefitted from some fine-tuning and editing.    … Expand

    So after playing enough to get 3 characters to 50 plus. This game is really enjoyable up to around level 55 at that point you get to the true endgame an realize that it is very very repetitive. There is hell tides which is okay for exploring the open world however the main thing you will be doing is dungeons which would be fine if they weren't all pretty much the same objectives. They really need to implement a new game plus system or something to allow the player to go back through the campaign on the higher tier systems. Because where this game shines is the main story! The writing is good the story animations are good an the boss fights are all top notch and all completely different from each other. Why you wouldn't want your players to play through that experience over an over again is beyond me! The devs really messed up on that part. It also has top notch triple A graphics. Most of all its a very fun game that continues on the addictive loot hunting formula the series is known for. As a person who did not like diablo 3 at all and has played diablo 2 for over 20 years now the game strikes a great balance of both previous games and is a worthy successor(finally) to diablo 2. The game has plenty to do and makes a great base for the diablo devs to expand upon. The team at blizzard has done a great job keeping the game up during both early access launch and world wide release. I didn't even get a single disconnect during either of those times. Also since its a "live service" game they are constantly making changes ever few days. This is a first in the franchise for that type of attention and service and blizzard seems to be holding up their end of the bargain to bring the game to life. Time will tell if they can maintain that level of attention over the long haul but its off to a good start. Also with as much as they are promoting the game in creative ways its easy to see they are really "all in" with this game and want to see it succeed here. I cant wait to see what the diablo 4 devs bring us next with seasons and leader boards coming shortly.

    Game is currently being review bombed here and it 100 percent doesn't deserve that. The game for me is a easy 10/10. Caveat being you will enjoy this game alot more if you enjoyed diablo 2 over diablo 3.    … Expand

    I've personally loved my time in Sanctuary so far. I do have some criticisms, but the game is solid and enjoyable. The game is beautiful on Series X.     I've personally loved my time in Sanctuary so far. I do have some criticisms, but the game is solid and enjoyable. The game is beautiful on Series X. The music, voice acting, and sound design are phenomenal. I've also found myself more invested in the story and characters than I would have expected. The combat feels excellent for the most part, and finding a build that works for you and then refining it to be even better is very satisfying. Running into and teaming up with players in the overworld is fun, but running into another player is rare enough that it feels kind of special.

    I've had minimal technical issues. Twice I've had server problems that were resolved within an hour, and once I had an odd latency issue where my character's actions were lagging behind my controller inputs. It lasted a couple of minutes, and then it resolved itself. In an age where so many AAA games launch in a completely broken state, for me, at least, Diablo IV has presented minimal technical issues.

    My one criticism is that the dungeons get repetitive on a visual level. The overworld is beautiful and varied, but there are four basic variations on the dungeons. It would have been nice if they had the same level of variety and detail as the overworld. The cellars are even more repetitious but also very brief, so it doesn't come as close to feeling like a chore.

    Some people will find the combat repetitious, and make no mistake, it is. I find it repetitious, like a bowl of ice cream is repetitious; every bite tastes the same, but it's still enjoyable.
    Some people will also criticize the existence of microtransactions. Yeah, they are there, and they are stupidly expensive. They are also limited to cosmetics and are not advertised anywhere beyond the store tab that you have to navigate to manually. It's not like other games that push ads for microtransactions as soon as you press start.
    Summary
    Overall this is a solid game with minor technical issues that I have hardly impacted my ability to play the game. I love the overworld and the sense of exploration, but the dungeons can sometimes be repetitive and bland. The combat repetition may eventually bother me, but if it does, I can always mix it up by creating another character of a different class. Microtransactions (and expensive) are present but not heavily pushed right now.    … Expand

    I bet almost all the low scores posted by “fans” on here have 50+ hours in this game and still going but get on here and review bomb because that’s just the way of things anymore sadly. This is easily best Diablo has ever been and incredible on every level- hell they even managed to get a halfway decent theme song made for it.     I bought the Ultimate Diablo 4 version and I finished the game on World Tier 2 difficulty in around 30 hours, trying to do as much as possible on the first run.

    World / video:
    Diablo 4’s open world is a masive, beautiful and dark gothic one, reflected in the art style, the story, and more subtly, through the entire gameplay. It is how Diablo 2 would have been like if the necessary technological means would have been available at that time. I often stopped the fight just to observe the beautiful details of scenery or of a delerict dungeon populated with all kind of torture devices and decesed victims.

    Gameplay:
    The general gameplay loop in Diablo 4 goes like: kill demons, loot, head to town and repeat. This goes for dungeons, events, side quests, and everything else. It is an addictive loop that any Diablo fan should know well. The most important thing about the combat is that it feels impactful and with the addition of the good synergy between the skills, the monster level scaling and the meaningful boss mechanics it is simply chalenging and great.


    Sound:
    Every sound is nice and precisely located in the mix. From the background music to the crunches of the wood and the clatters of the chests opening, to the dungeons sounds that feel claustrophic and expansive in equal measure.

    Story:
    Diablo 4's story revolves around Lilith, the demoness responsible for the creation of Sanctuary. She proves to be a complex character, utterly stealing the show in what already sports a truly formidable cast. 

    Diablo 4 shop:
    The Shop offers only cosmetic items that are purchased with Platinum, which is Diablo 4's premium currency that can be bought with real world money. The are NO pay to win mehanics or features that can be bought.

    Conclusion:
    I consider Diablo 4 a masterpiece of the Hack and Slash gendre, limited only by the gendre itself in terms of what it has to offer.

    It is worth unvesting you time and money because Blizzard did it right this time!    … Expand

    Don't listen to the zoomers trying to review bomb this game. It is indeed a great game, much better than D3 at the time of release. Is it perfect? No, there's definitely room for improvement, but people giving this game less than 7 are most likely just entitled teenagers with attention span that doesn't last more than 30 seconds.

    Now i can see someone thinking the same about my score, that i am artificially praising the game but this is my rating based on my time with the game. 10 does not mean perfection but i would still call this a masterpiece. My only qualm with the game thus far is the lack of offline mode. This is primarily because i prefer playing solo in most games and also i don't have to worry about the servers being up. Every other aspect of the game draws me in. From the outset, i actually enjoy the story far more than previous Diablo games (i will admit i have never really paid attention to the previous stories) partly because of the excellent cinematics and also the surprisingly good voice acting that isn't hammy like D2 and 3. Lillith is an interesting antagonist since she is not simply evil for evil's sake.
    Aesthetically, the graphics are wonderfully detailed, even when zoomed in, and the art feels much more in line with D1 and 2. When all the particles and various character and enemy animations are popping off everywhere, it is not only stunning but the frame rate stays solid through all of it, keeping the controller input feeling responsive. But even more than the graphics, the voice acting and monster sounds (which are generally great) aside, the music is not only beautiful but perfectly suited to the game's rather somber and mournful tone.
    However, while these aspects enhance the experience, none of it would matter if the gameplay sucked. Obviously, this is where the highest amount of subjectiveness in a review comes into play. To say that the classes and combat feel somewhat like a combination of D2 and 3 would not be too much of a stretch. D4 uses the more streamlined and dedicated builds of D2 in tandem with D3's encouragement to experiment with moves constantly. Each class feels very distinct and has multiple ways to specialize or use a more hybrid approach. In my opinion, the thing that draws me in to D4's combat so much is that they shirked the uber arcade-y feeling of D3 and made it much more visceral and strategic. The addition of a dash for every class is such a simple yet compelling tactical choice. Even with the former turret like combat of the sorcerer class, i now find myself moving frequently, particularly during boss fights. Having moves like Frozen Orb that require proper positioning and timing to utilize most effectively keeps me engaged much more even with basic trash mobs. I am also very pleased that they set a hard leveling cap of 100 as this helps to give a better sense of character "completion" than D3.
    Lastly, the sheer amount of content in the world is astounding, especially for a day 1 release. The map is littered with dungeons, crafting materials, world events, big group boss fights, and side quests. The smaller quests in this game aren't exactly Witcher 3 level of depth but they are much better than the average open world game and have a good amount of variety to them. I never feel bored while travelling the world, there is always something new to entice me to keep playing. The content is where i can see a lot of people's mileage with the game varying as a lot of it is there merely for the joy of exploration, the prospect of more combat engagement, and that wonderful green check mark on the map to feel you completed something.

    One note about the microtransactions, which i see a lot of people **** about. Yes, they are there day one but they are tucked away, not pasted blatantly on the start screen and this game is absolutely complete at purchase, especially considering how huge the game is. The items for sale are ONLY cosmetic and provide no gameplay boosts to leveling speed, gearing, etc. Why must people cry about this? Don't buy anything and the game is still the same as everyone else's experience. All these whiners are acting like Blizzard locked key game features or boosts behind a pay wall. Get over over yourself.

    Ultimately, while i love the game for all the things i described, the real reason behind my 10 is that i have had nothing but fun since i started it, and when i am away from the game, it is stuck in my head like an earworm. When i get held up at a boss fight, i have enjoyed changing up my tactics and coming at it from a different angle. The leveling speed and gear drops are at just the right level, especially compared to D3 where there were just thousands of meaningless legendary drops. D4 is easily my GotY, which is completely unexpected for me as i thought Tears of the Kingdom would be the easy king.    … Expand

    Already got close to 200 hours. Best blizzard game ever by miles.. Best Diablo game by miles and I played Diablo 2 for 20+ years. With more QoL updates and new legendary/uniques in the future is looking bright. Can't remember the last time I couldn't stop thinking about a game the second I stop playing it.

    The game map is huge and there is tons of stuff to do. So far the story has been better then D3 for me.

    Diablo is really good,Really good ambiance and graphics, gameplay is fun. I'm kind of a casual so take it or leave it, but i feel like there's enough content to keep you occupied for a while. My only problem is the scaling that does not feel good, but the game is still enjoyable

    Sure, there are some improvements that need to be made like literally any game. And just like any game, updates will be made to it. You can tell who hasnt played much D2 by the type of complaints they make about D4. its comical.     Great RPG, well written story and solid builds. Need some small adjustments but a really enjoyable game if you’re a Diablo purist. Running excellent on Xbox series X. Great graphics, great balance of fps. I’m spending a lot of hours with my crew with this game. Try it.

Lo resolveré pasándome la campaña pero me da coraje que no tuvieran en cuenta con este tema que hay jugadores que nos gusta terminar a medida que vas pasando las misiones secundarias y las mazmorras.     I made it to level 84 with my Sorc. I've finished most of the dungeons, and maps, and unlocked most of the transmogs. To give you an idea of my progress. I have 4 Paragon boards which are all socketed with level 15 glyphs.

    Let's start from the top.

    Presentation: 10/10 : They nailed the atmosphere, lore, music, art, and the general sense of what Sanctuary is.

    Graphics: 10/10 : It has the perfect style of graphics for a Diablo game. Much better than Diablo 3's whimsical theme. Diablo 4 Is gritty, dark, gory, and violent, but also vibrant where it counts. Diablo 2 had color where it mattered. This game runs great. I have a 3060 and play on 4k which is incredible for a game this size with as many particle effects as it has on-screen

    Story: 10/10 : I was blown away by how engaging the story is. Truly. I rarely pay attention to any parts of the story in a Diablo game. Obviously, I knew Deckard Cain and the Dark Wanderer, how the heroes from Diablo 1 all died in 2 etc etc. I knew about Sanctuary, Heaven and Hell but didn't have the full picture of things until this game. Diablo IV really brings the entire lore of Sanctuary together, embraces it, and makes it engaging. I can't wait for the DLC and to see Diablo himself, Mephisto and possibly the Paladin.

    Gameplay: 10/10 : The combat is super fluid, the worlds are incredibly vast, I really really love the verticality of it all. This is the first isometric RPG that actually makes you feel like you're in a world. Truly. You can go up to the highest mountain, look off and see the area below. It's not foreground or background, it's an actual fully built-out world. Massive castles, dungeons, towns and they are all existing.

    Here is where the nit-pick stuff comes in. These concerns I don't consider as part of the game. These are bonuses or sprinkle son the cupcake. The 50+ hours I played of this game was a 10/10 - so to me - the game is a 10/10. Most games don't even last that long.

    End Game : Hardcore ARPG mechanics : Itemization : QoL

    Very mixed. Everyone wants Diablo to be their game because the Franchise has been around for so long. We all feel like a part of it. SO I understand everyone has their wants, desires, and feedback for these important end-game mechanics.

    I'm not going to repeat the same things over and over and over. It's a Vanilla Diablo 4. Vanilla Diablo 2 was really bad, Vanilla Diablo 3 was also extremely bad. So far, Diablo 4 has had the best launch and end game out of all the Diablo games.

    Sure after 2-5 years Diablo 2 and 3 were great. Diablo 4 is only weeks old. I'm not going to judge it against games that have been out for decades...

    Right now. I am loving the item, item choices, and affixes, and I have enjoyed getting to level 85. The Paragon system is extremely interesting to me and I find myself strategizing over it quite often.

    There is no question though I'd have to rate Post 80 gameplay at a 5/10 Extremely average. I know in a year or 2, it will be an easy 8/10. It's missing a ton of Quality of life features. That's the biggest problem.

    You will easily enjoy this game up to level 80 and you will enjoy Season 1. The end-game is going to take time to perfect. However, you will still enjoy it. I'm playing right now.    … Expand

    brilliant game. gameplay makes a good game for me. Havent had this much gaming fun for a good few years. Excellent tactical combat (far more than D3). You have to select targets to engage / back off from. Each PC type feels unique mechanics wise. Intuitive skills menu (easy to pick up & go). Dark story & graphics only addfantastic).

    This is my first Diablo so this is coming from the point of view of just being a casual gamer who plays a variety of games. So far in the game i am level 35 and I am enjoying it a lot, game play is smooth and fun and the story is good. Overall I think this is an amazing game and I can only see it getting even better into the future.

The addition of rewarding endgame activities like Nightmare Dungeons and the very fun MMO like Helltide events are bound to keep many playing after the final chapter of the story. The only problems I have with the game lie in its underwhelming PvP arena, and a few somewhat minor quality of life issues and bugs.     The game is good untill you finish the campaign and the main story. Excellent graphics, cool gameplay style and well made music make this game an adventure that is worth to play.
    Sad for the end-game content, it's repetitive and becomes booring after a few hours.

    This is the best diablo. Not only that but it may be the best top down ARPG ever!

    Let me give you the rundown of positives and negatives. Positives - You don’t play diablo for the story, but this diablo has an awesome story that I did not expect to be this good. The cutscenes go HARD. I was very impressed with the story this time around. - The voice acting. It is superb especially    This is the best diablo. Not only that but it may be the best top down ARPG ever!

    Let me give you the rundown of positives and negatives.


    Positives
    - You don’t play diablo for the story, but this diablo has an awesome story that I did not expect to be this good. The cutscenes go HARD. I was very impressed with the story this time around.
    - The voice acting. It is superb especially Lilith and Lorath.
    - Map: the map is massive and diverse. Many different Biomes. The over world events are all diverse and different, never repetitive. The strongholds are a blast and each have their own mechanics and stories. So much to find and do.
    - Runs at a smooth 60fps on series X, and the graphics look stellar. Very next gen feeling game despite being top down.
    - Gameplay: this is why you are here and let me tell you it is the best it has ever been in a ARPG. Addictive, fun, satisfying, and challenging!
    - Character progression and builds: its amazing. I am addicted. It is such a deep rpg. Each class is so different I will never hit the bottom. So mucch depth. Build lovers this is your safe space.
    - quality of life stuff: you can respec whenever with little to no penalty, you can teleport in and out of any place including dungeons to sell loot etc with ease, short load times, and without losing progress. - co-op is a blast. I played about half the campaign with a friend and it is seamless and a blast!

    Negatives
    The quest markers mess up sometimes. Thats pretty much it. I know many had connection issues but I have never had a single connectivity issue. I get into the game immediately, and have never disconnected or even had much lag. I think its a wifi issue not a diablo issue people are having.

    Also the micro transactions are nothing. All cosmetic based, I haven’t even had to look at them. Not bad at all. So far this is my game of the year for 2023! Get it now!    … Expand

    The story and side quests are fantastic, and the big set-piece cutscenes are stunning. The story is delivered perfectly and it does a much better job at keeping you interested than Diablo 3 did. The side mission stories are also interesting and varied, and provide some useful rewards. I cannot fault the story or quest design at all.
    The end game is fun, but the game lacks the feeling of infinite progression and constant competition that used to be available in Diablo 3. Providing a never ending levelling system and a proper competitive aspect is the one thing I am hoping for from Blizzard as the current seasonal content lacks a real hook to keep you invested in it and that is why I deducted a point from my score.
    The developers have so far brought out many patches that have really improved the overall experience and have promised a lot more in the future. I am happy with how open they are being with this and trust that this title will evolve into something even greater as we go, just as they did with Diablo 3.    … Expand

    Un maravilloso juego que perfecciona las mecánicas, con una historia atrapante, con un mapa variado en ambientes y mejora el online. Es todo lo que se esperaba de la saga y mas. Sin embargo, se ve lastrado por su monetización tanto del pase como de su tienda de cosméticos que deberían estar incluidos en el juego base o al menos como premios de eventos internos de la comunidad.

    Solid 8. End game needs work, patch didn't deliver everything but they are going in the right direction again. I do understand the disappointment but as with these games you put the game away for some time as they iron out these issues. I would say if you are offended by bad experiences, don't put out 1 or 0 review. My 8 is based on the story content. It's **** sweet. Cinematics are inSolid 8. Some are CGI even better. **** enjoyed the ride, will do it again. The loot grind is boring, but that will take time to get to a fun state. Besides I don't care about numbers going up or down anyway. I'm all about gameplay baby. As with all live service garbage these days, devs just can't keep up with delivering new content and adjust for feedback at the same time. The model sucks, give people some slack. Most people who are enjoying it as snail's pace are enjoying the game most of the time. As for the hardcore club, just relax a bit come back later.… Expand

    Buena calidad buena historia y gráficos pero un pequeño problema obligan a tener conexión permanente y se siente repetitivo algunas veces el juego no es rejugable en este sentido es una lástima

    Its amazing how people whine over this patch. This patch shouldve been day 1. Within a week of release, people hit lvl 100, killed uber boss, did all content. Things that shouldve taken weeks. And now that Bliz slowed everything down to what it shouldve been, everyone is crying. Get off you high horses people. Enjoyin the patch, great game. Give me more Diablo!!!

    The game is good. I look forward to more seasons content. I had to leave a review on the PC side because almost no one else knew you could review based on platform. I was mostly calling those people names.

    I am having a lot of fun playing this game. I am by no means a serious gamer. I get home from work, sit in my recliner, fire it up, and have fun.

    While the season 1 patch maybe not well received , i still enjoy this game and understand like most Diablo games its not complete until the last season is over and the new game comes out. I appreciate the constant updates and transparency from blizzard.

    Overall I really like the game. I'm happy it went back to a more Diablo I/II look and feel instead of doubling down on Diablo III. I feel like season 1 will be the only season I play, since restarting from scratch for only a tiny bit of new story really isn't for me. Additionally the cosmetics earned are kind of pointless when you only really get to see them in the load screens. I playOverall I really like the game.     Diablo IV is the perfect evolution of the series. The many new features make for a truly modern title, giving us an experience capable of keeping us glued to the controller for many hours, without neglecting the historical and most beloved features of the series. If we add to this a technical aspect of the highest quality, a very accessible multiplayer structure, and a huge end-game, we obtain a majestic title that stands as the best exponent of the action-RPG genre and is capable of bringing us plenty of emotions.

    Diablo IV is a social phenomenon and once again sets a new standard for the genre. It's a dark, spooky, action-packed experience. Combat is frantic, fluid and fun, while micro-management of resources and inventory feels better than ever before.

    Diablo IV is the culmination of everything Blizzard has set up before to make one ultimate experience. The world is stunning, drowned in a beautiful soundtrack that makes even the smallest moments feel epic. With a deep character system, satisfying combat and an endgame that feels like only the start of your adventure, it's hard not to recommend. Dig in, experiment with classes, fight some demons and loot some dungeons. You won’t regret it.
