Sep 23, 2025Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is ambitious, but a little flawed. The scope of the game is amazing, and the world is a pretty cool place to be, but technical issues drag the score back a bit, sadly.

Sep 2, 2025Titanic Scion is a step forward for the series in some areas but still weighed down by the same problems that kept the original from reaching greatness. If you loved the first game, you’ll find more of what you enjoy here, and the mech customization remains a highlight. For everyone else, it’s a stylish but middling action game that struggles to stand out for long stretches. The original game had a lot of post-game support and with any luck Titanic Scion will as well, because currently it sits firmly in the ‘meh’ category; just another fun, forgettable game.

Sep 5, 2025Being way over the top impedes Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion from being excellent. That, and its particularly confusing storyline. Those looking for a game that is quick to pick up will be put off by its complexity, but if you have some time on your hands, the title will prove particularly enjoyable once you have worked out its kinks. And if you like mechas and are looking for a fun co-op game, this adventure is for you. It will be complex, imperfect, and sometimes a little frustrating, but also particularly satisfying.
