If you’re looking for a game to start your love affair with tactical turn-based games, Crown Wars: The Black Prince is as good a choice as any thanks to the way healing and upgrades work. Despite a few flaws, I had a great time with Crown Wars: The Black Prince.

Crown Wars: The Black Prince is a disappointment. It is badly converted to the console, it has a number of annoying glitches, and most crucially of all, it isn’t very much fun to play. When it runs without crashing, then it's fine, but this is far away from the best of all the turn-based strategy games.

Crown Wars: The Black Prince is a very tedious tactic that can only be recommended as an effective sleeping pill.

Crown Wars: The Black Prince is a game I should have loved. However, glitches, poor acting, and problems undermine every ounce of potential. When it works, the action is fantastic. However, these moments are fleeting and this will leave you frustrated.
