    Bai Qu: Hundreds of Melodies is a dull, melodramatic plod of a game, and it’s a textbook example of how to get visual novels wrong. We’re partial to a visual novel, but they do have habits that we dislike, and Bai Qu does its darnedest to exhibit every single one of those habits.

    Bai Qu Hundreds of Melodies is a very nice, sad yet warm visual novel game. It was not what I expected when I sat down to play it. Was expecting this one to be boring but from the very start it brought me in and held me there.

    The story is about Li Jiayun, a young girl that has passed on and the story is told through the eyes of Wei Qiuwu who accidentally encounters her on a Hospital visit to his father. I am not going to tell you all about the story as I do believe this is game you need play for yourself.

    The game has a great background soundtracks that do not over complicate or take you away from what your reading. The text is perfect and the visual art images are great.

    Overall if you are into these types of game or wanting to try one for the very first time, then I would highly recommend Bai Qu Hundreds of Melodies!
