Such an over-rated game. I give it a 4, but its tempting to rate it lower just because of my expectations.

The gameplay is a **** show for me, its a mess that doesn't feel good. The only joy you get is the satisfaction of overcoming the ****show that is the controls and defeating bosses with giant HP bars and borked bounding boxes - why people think this makes it good is beyond me.

Another damn goon From Soft game! My only complaint would be a better story but honestly I wasn't expecting any less being From Soft! Soon addicting. Stay up playing until 4 in the morning thinking it's like midnight.

Almost perfect. A few more weapons and a couple more weapon types would have been fantastic. Also, the CORE system is far too prominent. You basically cannot do damage without staggering your opponent first. This drastically reduces the variety of strategies one can use effectively. Otherwise, the game is absolutely incredible. Perfect, even.

A worthy continuation of a series that has been in oblivion for a decade. Perfect optimization, beautiful art direction, dynamic battles, cool movement, epic bosses, a huge selection of customization and build settings.

FS once again proves that you need to hold on to the fans and those who play your games, and not try to lick everyone's shoes on twitter or sits on the hype train. Any other studio would immediately release Elden Ring 2 after its success, FS is releasing super niche AC6. Base

Ac6 was a fun distraction from my everyday life. While I certainly enjoyed the usual series traits (win big paydays, go shopping for stronger mech parts, rinse and repeat), I always found the unlikely bosses from previous games a tedious byproduct.

Sadly from software decided to double down on the bosses and across the 69 mission campaign I must've faced what felt like 20 hulking, unreasonably powerful entities. Most were OK but a couple were quite troubling. Strafing round in circles like a mad person for several hours to get the job done. (Perhaps in future from software could could add some sort of 'boss battle arena mode' to satiate the hunger of some of the fans of difficult long bosses I can see in the reviews here?)

The story was ok but without any motion capture humans to follow along with, the levels felt empty. Lonely. There was an opportunity here to display something more technically ambitious but instead the path to retread the same sort of game was taken instead. It felt just like the older titles before it.

Performance isn't a great reflection of the kind of visuals shown here but thankfully the VRR setting on my TV was able to offer a good experience in 4k quality mode so things looked sharp and felt responsive to control.

Overall I came away feeling a little cheated. This doesnt really carry the finesse of a £60 game but certainly came at the price of one. The gameplay felt straight out of the ps3 era and it rarely ever really felt 'next gen' in any noticeable way on my series x. If you can get this at a discount and enjoy mech anine then this is worth checking out

If it has a cock pit as a weakspot...melee it. Pulse shield? Bring anti shield gun etc.

The game is amazing, it has that frustration aspect to it that makes beating missions feel great. It has decision path, multiple endings, you can build and customize your AC in so many ways.

I'm not sure why IGN Brazil is saying it doesn't have much after the campaign...it has multiple endings, mission tree decisions(you know parts of a story line) and apparently they found the game was really really easy and not rewarding difficultly level...I'm baffled by that one

At least Elden Ring had an open world you could walk around in and explore. This does not have that.

Also, it really bothers me that there is zero gravity in this game. I'm a big hulking mech. They're big hulking mechs. Why do we all just slide around like we're on ice skates? Even things with massive tank treads just glide over the ground and turn on a dime. This just feels silly.

Creo que su único punto flojo fue el tema gráfico ,pero ya es algo recurrente en FROM de toda la vida.

Instead of having two game lines now, one for the Souls fans and one for the others the difficulty made this game unplayable for a casual gamer. The tutorial boss alone is on par with mid to end bosses from previous Core games. If you have hours to invest and "get gud" this is the game for you, if not don't bother. Pros. Great graphics, same controls as older titles, and the arcade mech building action that made the series good originally.

Cons. The difficulty, no way to lower this at all.

Personally, I wouldn't say I liked Armored Core 6 since I was still high on the Elden Ring rush. As a rare mech game, it does a really good job at making you feel like you’re riding a powerful mech but it has little substance. Armoured Core 6 feels like a boss rush game with detail in mech customization, but the story lacks depth and engagement. Environments, granted very beautiful at times, are vast and vertical but feel like shallow backdrops or cardboard arenas you’d see in Power Rangers mech fights. AC6 will please many AC fans, but I don’t think it’s as strong as the other From Software titles.
