    Best game I played this year.
    Boss fights are indeed difficult, but thats what makes it fun, the better you get the easier the bosses get. It’s all about skill. Of course not everyone enjoys challenging games, if you dont enjoy getting stuck in a boss fight for a couple of hours this is not the game for you. If you are a Dark Souls veteran you will love this game. Combat is great, a lot of    Best game I played this year.

    Absolute masterpiece, From Software has pulled off the impossible by making a casual game thats still addictive like hell and fun to play for Soulsfans (only two hard bosses the rest is first try mostly).

    ARMORED CORE VI: FIRES OF RUBICON is a strong 2023 GOTY candidate. The graphics are good, the action and battles are fun, and it is the best AAA game in robot mecha space sci-fi games.

    I love a challenge and this entry of Armored Core is not for noobs.
    You'll need strategy and skill to defeat challenging boss battles.
    It is absolutely wild. If you are terrible at gaming, this game is not for you.
    Dr Disrespect got it first try, or so he claims.

    I swear man does From Software always hit, this game is fantastic! The game is fast and the combat just feels so fluid and amazing. Sooo many different builds to try and I just love it. And for a fromsoft game it has a good story too, and it's the most they have done with new game plus in forever. This and Balders Gate have just been so good, this year just rocks.     Controls are very reactive.
    Audio is a treat. It's hard to hate on anything in this game. Is it hard, yes but it a good way. Most level's take 2 - 4 attempts. Well that is if you don't count the optional mech kill targets (those take a little strategy based on their weapons). The only really issue I have with this game is the explanation of stats.     Titanfall fans will love this game, simply because of the movement, gunplay and looks.
    The story lacks a bit, but I don't think we play armored core games for the story (at least I don't).
    Really addictive gunplay and movement, constant action, and the game suceeds to make you feel both powerful and on par with tougher opponents. The only thing holding it back other than the story is a    Titanfall fans will love this game, simply because of the movement, gunplay and looks.
    The story lacks a bit, but I don't think we play armored core games for the story (at least I don't).

    Almost perfect. A few more weapons and a couple more weapon types would have been fantastic. Also, the CORE system is far too prominent. You basically cannot do damage without staggering your opponent first. This drastically reduces the variety of strategies one can use effectively. Otherwise, the game is absolutely incredible. Perfect, even.

    good game but not great. It is not a souls-like game(dark souls, demon souls, elden ring) but more like a sekiro-like game that has its own pros and cons.

    My first AC game. It's deeply satisfying and since I don't have a good comparison, I'll use Custom Robo And I've 100% completed all english Custom Robo games.

    Pros: Fromsoft really delivers this AAA title with excellent visuals and soundtrack, fantastic combat mechanics, and great customized features.
    Cons: The performance issues still happen in some areas, but I know they will patch that in the near future.
    Concluded: Potentially for the GOTY awards - 8/10

    Armored Core 6 is a masterpiece. It's a perfect mix between the old Armored Core games and the Souls series (the best from both world).

    Missions are super fun with high replayability (getting the S ranking on each mission). The game gets better and better as you play more and more. It takes some " get used to it " in term of mechanics / gameplay but once it clicks with you : you just    Armored Core 6 is a masterpiece. It's a perfect mix between the old Armored Core games and the Souls series (the best from both world).

    Missions are super fun with high replayability (getting the S ranking on each mission).
    The game gets better and better as you play more and more.

    It's a perfectly crafted game and I definitely hope we get Armored Core 7 as well as a massive DLC for AC6 !!! This game is easily my GOTY 2023 ! I highly recommend.

    Game feels amazing! Plays fantastic can be easy and challenging at points like any other armoredcore in the past. Awful that it took so long for another game but fires of rubicon doesnt disappoint.

    To start off, this game definitely starts slow and isn't a soulborne game. With that in mind it still has some of the coolest boss fights as if it were a souls-like game simply because fromsoftware is a master at boss fight mechanics, and combat overall. I would say if you love mechas this is a must buy as it's single handedly the best modern Mecha game out there.

    If you're not a Mecha    To start off, this game definitely starts slow and isn't a soulborne game. With that in mind it still has some of the coolest boss fights as if it were a souls-like game simply because fromsoftware is a master at boss fight mechanics, and combat overall. I would say if you love mechas this is a must buy as it's single handedly the best modern Mecha game out there.

    If you're not a Mecha fan, and only like souls-like games, I'd argue this game is worth trying and at least getting through the first chapter or two. For me, it really started to gain it's appeal starting around the 2nd chapter and completely sold me at the end of chapter 3.

    You're going to die a good amount, but this game is very forgiving and you'll start back up right before a boss fight will all your repair kits, full ammo, and full health. If you're a masochist that doesn't like that, don't worry you'll die plenty of times still and it'll feel fulfilling to you I am sure.

    Im only not giving it a 10 cause it really did start very lukewarm to me and you have to commit to the game and it's gameplay as it definitely gets better the more you unlock, purchase and build your ideal build.

    It's also worth noting there is no leveling system and mechas in ng+ don't scale up to how much you've improved or gain more efficient parts, BUT there are additional missions added that will test your skills further than the first playthrough did so there's challenge and a reason to play ng+ (true ending requires ng++)    … Expand

    Genuinely amazing game. The voice acting could use some work but beyond that this is probably one of the most accessible FromSoft games ever made. If you know the right build you can clear anything and that's how it's meant to be.

    As far as gameplay it's perfection for a Mech game, you feel powerful, fast. Flying and boosting are smooth. I've yet to lose noticable frames at any point so    Genuinely amazing game.     The difficulty of game is a bit too hard, sometimes painful to continue. And lack of CG presentation for storyline, but mech control is solid, and combat is very tactical . Also great art, epic music. Best mech game in the past 10 years!

Los jefes siguen siendo demandantes sin llegar a ser tediosos. La barra de "postura" a lo Sekiro fue una muy buena implementación. Las partes intercambiables del Mecha son menores a otras entregas pero seMejoraron demasiado a comparación de los anteriores juegos de la saga.     This is NOT a souls like game at all, anyone saying that it is clearly has never played the Armored Core series, it would have your nice easy missions and then toss you in the meat grinder. The entire series has always revolved around changing your AC to suit the missions, big slow boss tank build and ACS damage it to no end and keep it stun locked.     The game is amazing, it has that frustration aspect to it that makes beating missions feel great. It has decision path, multiple endings, you can build and customize your AC in so many ways.

    I'm not sure why IGN Brazil is saying it doesn't have much after the campaign...it has multiple endings, mission tree decisions(you know parts of a story line) and apparently they found the game was really really easy and not rewarding difficultly level...I'm baffled by that one    … Expand

    FS once again proves that you need to hold on to the fans and those who play your games, and not try to lick everyone's shoes on twitter or sits on the hype train. Any other studio would immediately release Elden Ring 2 after its success, FS is releasing super niche AC6. Base

    Another damn goon From Soft game! My only complaint would be a better story but honestly I wasn't expecting any less being From Soft! Soon addicting. Stay up playing until 4 in the morning thinking it's like midnight.

    Personally, I wouldn't say I liked Armored Core 6 since I was still high on the Elden Ring rush. As a rare mech game, it does a really good job at making you feel like you’re riding a powerful mech but it has little substance. Armoured Core 6 feels like a boss rush game with detail in mech customization, but the story lacks depth and engagement. Environments, granted very beautiful at times, are vast and vertical but feel like shallow backdrops or cardboard arenas you’d see in Power Rangers mech fights. AC6 will please many AC fans, but I don’t think it’s as strong as the other From Software titles.

    A great mech combat game that boasts a surprisingly moody atmosphere while offering one of the most rewarding customisation components in all of gaming. So, definitely play it if you love tough combat and plenty of explosions.
