In Death on the Nile, a peaceful cruise on the Nile is disrupted by a terrible crime. Thankfully, famous detective Hercule Poirot is onboard.

Meanwhile, a private detective is tracking a murderer, leading her from London to Majorca, New York, and finally to Egypt. The two investigations collide at Abu Simbel. The dynamic duo will solve a complex case full of twists and turns.

But the story doesn’t end with the book, and it still holds many mysteries and twists, even for Agatha Christie fans.

It’s a good challenge, with a great story and lots of variety in its levels. Sometimes the presentation feels a bit flat, but it’s never anything that is able to take away from the enjoyment.

Death on the Nile may not be a big-budget spectacle, but it’s a well-crafted mystery with charm and ambition. If you enjoy piecing together clues, catching liars in their contradictions, and unraveling classic stories in new ways, this is a cruise worth boarding.

Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile offers a thrilling and challenging adventure. However, the console version falls short in some puzzles, which can be awkward. Some significant bugs also detract from the experience. But overall, it's a very enjoyable title that hooks you from the very first minute.

A solid detective yarn with decent puzzles and a procession of absorbing mysteries to unravel, Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile is an intricate and enjoyable, albeit slightly shabbily presented, adventure with a slightly unusual 1970s style.

Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile is the most enjoyable Hercule Poirot game I’ve played to date. With engaging puzzles, dual protagonists, and a well-paced mystery, it improves on its predecessors despite a few pacing and polish issues. Fans of Poirot and thoughtful detective work will find plenty to enjoy.

This new iteration of Death on the Nile includes some clever puzzles, but unfortunately, the positives end there. The incredibly slow pace will certainly turn many players off, while the addition of a parallel storyline feels disjointed and lacks the quality of Agatha Christie's original narrative. All in all, this adaptation of one of the most famous whodunit mysteries is, unfortunately, one of the weakest.

Spending these few hours in the shoes of the famous Hercule Poirot and young detective Jane Royce allowed us to experience an adventure full of twists and turns thanks to well-written investigations that take on their full meaning as the story unfolds, the mind map and the well-thought-out puzzles (far more numerous than in Agatha Christie - Murder on the Orient Express). Finally, thanks to a gameplay that encourages players to think and interact, there is no doubt that Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile comes out on top. As fans of the "whodunnit" genre, we really enjoyed discovering all the different aspects of this title. Fans of crime novels or video games similar to Frogwares' Sherlock Holmes series will enjoy discovering (or rediscovering) this new iteration of one of Agatha Christie's most famous works.
