I'm not quite as warm to it as I was before, but it's an eerie experience that's seeped into my real life.

Slender: The Arrival boasts some genuinely scary moments, but offers little beyond them.

A no-frills port of an already underweight horror package. There's much other developers can learn from Slender's terror tactics, but we suspect they've got the message by now. Give the tall lad a miss.

Slender: The Arrival has solid qualities, as well as some hit or miss tendencies, leaning towards the miss side. Undoubtedly, this one is under the horror classification and does its job throwing out its scary surprises, and for better or worse, there are still some accidental funny moments that you can’t help but laugh at.

Slender: The Arrival is the definition of a one-trick pony. But it’s a mangy-looking pony, and it isn’t especially good at its trick. It is a shaky start for a series that hasn’t left me all that excited for any sequels. Blue Isle Studios nailed the tense atmosphere, and with some improvements to graphics and story, it could be the foundation of a decent horror franchise.

Slender: The Arrival manages to dull Slendy's mystique by shining a light on him and revealing his terrible secret: he's the star of a really crappy video game.

Nonetheless, its a mildly tense game that never outstays its welcome. Only paid a pound or so. Full Review »

it plays like a 10 year old game my advice is buy outlast and dlc not much more money and is so much better imo.

It starts with you in a sunny, lovely forest. Birds singing. but then as you descend down a path, the sun is setting and before long its suddenly become eerie. The music is haunting for sure. Played in the dark, headset on, it plays games with your mind and I'll admit it, i jumped off my seat many times. Some people hate that a game can make you do that - I love it!! It's pure head games in my mind. And iits only $10 bucks, so its a fun bargain. I hope these guys can do more! Full Review »
