May 5, 2019Its hard to be too critical, when it really is just an extension of a free indie title, but i feel like the developers could have shown a little more ingenuity to develop the premise further. Nonetheless, its a mildly tense game that never outstays its welcome. Only paid a pound or so.

Aug 6, 2018It can get a bit repetitive if you keep dying over and over again so many times from Slender Man or Masky (or whatever the thing is called). But its creepy atmosphere and dark looking yet pretty levels make this a worthy sequel to Slender: The Eight Pages.

Nov 3, 2022The original Slender has a simple but working jump scare concept. The Arrival tries another approach and fails a bit in my opinion. The game is not bad but I prefer the original one. Though it had some intense shock moments.

Apr 16, 2015Slender: The Arrival is the definition of a one-trick pony. But it’s a mangy-looking pony, and it isn’t especially good at its trick. It is a shaky start for a series that hasn’t left me all that excited for any sequels. Blue Isle Studios nailed the tense atmosphere, and with some improvements to graphics and story, it could be the foundation of a decent horror franchise.

Apr 12, 2015I'm not quite as warm to it as I was before, but it's an eerie experience that's seeped into my real life.

Apr 1, 2015Slender: The Arrival boasts some genuinely scary moments, but offers little beyond them.
