    Sea of Thieves is, without a doubt, the best game of 2018 so far. RARE was able to rebound into the industry! The game has everything that a multiplayer game should have: Extreme fun, cooperation with friends, frenetic PVP, cool quests to solve, it is an indescribable game, there is nothing like it, the water of this game is the best currently and the physical are very good, the graphicsSea of Thieves is, without a doubt, the best game of 2018 so far. RARE was able to rebound into the industry! Cuando vi el juego en un tráiler hace 3 años, recuerdo mencionar que se me hacia un juego X, sin chiste un juego mas de con Online Permanente, sin embargo al permitirme jugar la BETA CERRADA, cambie totalmente de opinión, Jugué solo y mis primeras impresiones fue ver esas olas realmente realistas, debo decir que tengo una TV con HDR y hay una mejora realmente alta al ver el océano y los escenarios, realmente es un juego entretenido, pero donde mas me divertí fue cuando invite a mis amigos fue totalmente entretenido, el hecho de poner navegar sin que el mapa te indique a donde ir, debes guiarte con los instrumentos disponibles tal cual un pirata, como también los combates entre piratas se tornan muy entretenidos y por ultimo me encanta esa esencia de intriga y de suspenso de saber que hay mas al fondo del océano saber que asecha un kraken, sin duda un juego muy entretenido.… Expand

    Apesar de ter começado ontem, o jogo já me entregou boas horas de diversão. Gráficos cartunescos com muitos detalhes, cores, e boa resolução, um tipo de mmorpg diferente de tudo que já joguei. Sua proposta pode não ser tão inovadora, mas sem sombra de dúvidas é muito divertido e tem um potencial para crescer ainda mais.

    This game is an absolute RIOT. As a long time RPG'er, I wanted stats, gear, meaningful character progression, things many gamers want and like in a lot of different games these days. As I kept a weary distance from Sea of Thieves, I was eventually sucked in by my insatiable love for seafaring and similar minded friends. To date we've had 30-40 hours of pure, unadulterated bliss in SoT. IThis game is an absolute RIOT. As a long time RPG'er, I wanted stats, gear, meaningful character progression, things many gamers want and like in a lot of different games these days. As I kept a weary distance from Sea of Thieves, I was eventually sucked in by my insatiable love for seafaring and similar minded friends. To date we've had 30-40 hours of pure, unadulterated bliss in SoT. I rarely review things, but I knew what was happening around this game. Mainly the "next No Man's Sky," mantra being thrown around by the "1" raters... it's just not true. NMS was over hyped and under-delivered. Rare has been up front about what SoT is. The fact of the matter just is it won't please everyone. But those that are unhappy are of course !@#$'ing the bed about the fact that they paid for a game they are unhappy with, instead of being informed consumers. There is no one here to blame except themselves for making a purchase and being unhappy with it.

    As for the rest of us, we'll be sailing, and pillaging, and plundering, and swashbuckling, and having an amazing time in Sea of Thieves.

    The game is absolutely gorgeous. The art style is charming. The atmosphere captures what you expect or want out of a pure pirate-themed experience. The sailing is spot on. The combat is a little shallow, but it is tight enough to be learn-able and master-able. The navigation and looting is just a joy. I seriously can't wait to see what they have in store for this game's future.

    Great social game. No constraints on your possibilities and a goofy fun experience weather it's alone for a quick play or in a group for longer periods of time. One of the most beautiful graphic style I've ever seen. Cross-buy, Cross-play, Cross-fun everywhere. This game doesn't hold you back and I'll not hold back on giving it a 10

    Sea of Thieves is an awesome game. The graphics are beautiful especially on the X which runs the game at native 4k. The combat mechanics are pretty solid and controlling your ship feels realistic. The water is by far the best water rendered in any game hands down. Sea of Thieves comes to life with friends the game is fun and entertaining playing alone but mp is where it really shines. ItSea of Thieves is an awesome game. There are few things more exciting in today's gaming then trying to protect your gold, keep your ship floating, all while fighting off enemies in the middle of a vast ocean. This title brings me back to my childhood, to a time when Rare was a gaming giant releasing the best AAA games to ever grace the SNES. This is Rare at its full potential, and i am eagerly anticipating what they have in store for the future.

    Played all the beta’s and finally the full game has arrived and it does not disappoint. There is plenty to do to learn the game and enjoy being a pirate as things are will be ramping up as time goes on. I’ve played this alone and with my young sons and they loved every minute. The game looks stunning and is totally unique. Have fun

    um dos melhores jogos com coop na geração e as analises verdadeiras vem mostrando isso, por mais que uns não gostem do gênero, é um jogo que tem ótima propostas e que pode ser afetado pelas notas de fanboys

Most people complaining about lack of content either never played or if they did don't even know how to use the dodge move. This game doesn't hold your hand and the low reviews are from Sony fanboys or people who spent 4-5 hours in the game (basically a tutorial) and thought that's all there is. Try taking on a 4-man galleon all my yourself, until you can intimidate that kind of crew all alone then you haven't even started to know how to play this game. If you're still sailing around in your brown non-painted ship with white cloth as sails, it shows you have not experienced the game enough but when you're rolling up in a painted ship with an actual flag then you have the right to say this game has little content if you wish.… Expand

    Sea Of Thieves começou meio estranho, mais definitivamente se tornou um game incrível e extremamente divertido. A Rare fez algo extremamente diferente, um multiplayer incrível, com uma jogabilidade divertido que faz você passar horas sem se cansar ou se sentir entediado. Realmente incrível.

The cartoonishly low-detail style of the game results in an amazing visual fidelity reserved for lighting and *gasp* water effects achieved on both the XBONE and PC, and as a bit of an artist I can appreciate what they've done in terms of graphics.
    However, I understand that this is a game with faults, and hate to say that Rare have made quite a few. I played the open beta, I understand all the nuances with the boating system but can easily see why people are frustrated. There is no tutorial outside of the cryptic tips given during the loading screens, and for all Rare have put into making this system feel good they've completely skimped on an explanation. Sure new players can search it up, but when they're using Xbox Game Pass, why even bother when you can move onto the next game?
    Aside from that, I think Sea of Thieves is worth picking up if you are whiling to pick up some skills on the fly, and the visual fidelity as well as ease of basic mechanics such as movement and questing are great. While there aren't a crazy amount of different quests, there sure are a ton of ways to earn money and unlock sweet loot, so I'm pleased with what there right now. I thought I'd just add that I played a good amount with friends and also myself, and even when I was captaining a sloop the experience never got lonely whether it be by way of chickens or other inquisitive pirates.

    Es un buen juego, en el cual la exploración es la principal mecánica, solo o con amigos, me ha dejado hasta el momento buenas sensaciones. Realmente le iba a poner un 9 porque los graficos de caricatura no me agradan del todo, pero después de ver algunas reviews, me doy cuenta que hay mucho sonyer disfrazado que no han probado el juego realmente pero vienen a dejar su mala calificación yaEs un buen juego, en el cual la exploración es la principal mecánica, solo o con amigos, me ha dejado hasta el momento buenas sensaciones.     Jogo muito bom e viciante para jogar com os amigos, da pra passar horas e mais horas sem ao menos perceber que estava amanhecendo e todos teriam que ir trabalhar sem ao menos dormir.

    O jogo de piratas mais divertido de todos os tempos. Focado no multiplayer, é garantia de horas e horas de divertimento, com repartição de tarefas com a tripulação e objetivos para cumprir juntos. E não falta jogadores: Sea of Thieves bateu recorde, atingindo mais de 1 milhão de jogadores nas primeiras 48 horas. Isso não foi à toa. O jogo é realmente incrível!!

    A parte divertida você já conhece, é o seus amigos jogando junto com vc cada missão e se divertindo com os imprevistos em alto mar. A experiencia de jogar junto, muda completamente o jogo, chega a ser outro jogo. Você também pode jogar o game sozinho, bancar o lobo solitário e aprontar, por que não, afinal vc é quem faz    Sea of Thieves é um jogo muito divertido e frustrante ao mesmo tempo.
    A parte divertida você já conhece, é o seus amigos jogando junto com vc cada missão e se divertindo com os imprevistos em alto mar. A experiencia de jogar junto, muda completamente o jogo, chega a ser outro jogo. Você também pode jogar o game sozinho, bancar o lobo solitário e aprontar, por que não, afinal vc é quem faz a diversão, tente roubar os navios grandes por exemplo, seja um doido do mar...

    A parte complicada começa agora, um jogo frustrante depois de algumas horas. Os pontos negativos são muitos, isso não tem como negar.

    Vou citar algumas coisas que podem complicar a sua experiencia, tanto junto quanto solo.

    - Ir preso ao jogar com outros jogadores. Chato, muito chato porque é um sistema de votação e você na maior das boas intenções se entrar em uma sala errada, já era. Sugestão, tirem essa droga do jogo.

    - Jogar solo. Você contra o mundo e contra piratas que ficam te esperando só pra roubar suas caixas de tesouro. Aqui você tem que ser um rato se quiser jogar.

    -Mundo grande, porém sem muito o que fazer depois de um tempo, o jogo pode cair na mesma rotina. O que resta é atentar os outros, juntar-se uma partida e ver como tirar proveito de outra maneira no game.

    -Mapa não procedural. aqui não é um defeito, mas, ter um mapa que mudasse as ilhas prolongaria o fator busca/exploração.

    -Juntar-se ao um amigo... que sistema horroroso. Se o você escolheu ir com 3 jogadores, se o seu 4º amigo chegar 10 minutos depois, já era, tem que esperar os 3 amigos terminarem a missão, fechar a sala e começar tudo de novo. O chato é , o sistema de loot que vc juntou no barco, perde tudo e vc tem que pegar novamente ( bala de canhão, banana, madeira)

    Ainda assim, o game tem chances de mudar caso os produtores queiram, continuo acreditando em novidades vindas de tempos em tempos no game.

If you don't know, there are 3 factions or merchants or mission types: Gold Hoarders, you find a treasure and you sell it, Order of Souls, you kill an amount of skeletons and a capitain then you sell the capitain's head, and Merchant Sailor, you found resources or animals, and you sell them. And that's it. With the gold you obtain, you can buy more missions, and cosmetics for EVERYTHING. You increase levels on each factions, when you reach 50/50/50 you will become a Pirate legend. And you will ask, why its a master piece if its only that? Because its not that all, there are Skeleton forts with some treasures, there ere other pirates to fight with them, and there is a kraken to beat or to be beaten by him. And also there is time to sink your ship.
    Obviously this game needs more content, and it has bugs. but right now its fun, and thats it porpouse.

I've been checking out some reviewers that gave this game a zero and I noticed something unhealthy: Almost all products they review on here they score a zero. No nuance, not weighing any pro's and cons to come to a realistic score, no, just bashing because one single aspect of something didn't live up to their expectations. Things that would most likely improve with future patches quickly for example.

    I truly believe we should also rate reviewers and if we see a pattern of just bashing without proper motivation, you are not a critic, you are just a hater, you should not be allowed to affect a score. "Oh hey, I don't like this guy that works at this or that company, let's come to this site and troll his score to let everyone believe it's actually a way worse product than it actually is, ha ha ha, we just lost thousands of brilliant people their jobs for no good reason".

    Ce jeu est une perle rare pour un jeu coop, comme il en existe peu... voir pas du tout.
    C'est le genre de jeu qu'on lance juste pour prendre du bon temps avec ses amis dans un monde de piraterie. Le jeu est toutefois vide de PNJ, ce qui est dommage.

    Incredible how they managed to remove the excessive UI that we see in all other games, from the compass to the map, all is there for anybody to interact with without menus and stuff. The sea water is as pretty as it could be, and the different ways to find your treasure makes the voyages way more diverse.

    Fantastic. This game will evolve, it was built as a plain pizza base and the toppings are yet to be added. The added bonus of Game-Pass is great. It isn't worth £49.99 CURRENTLY however it is an investment for something that will progress and evolve with time. Buy it.

If you get the essence of the game, if you get the passion..you will have a wonderfull time. Yes i'vepayed 60 dollars, that was on day of release. I've played almost everyday for 2 hours for 40 days, so i'm over 60 hours.... that is less than 1 doillar an hour for the incredible fun i've had so far. I can't come up with a recent game that has given me so much value for money. I'm not done with sea of thieves and i can't wait to sail out with my ship for more adventure!     I see a lot of users complain that there is nothing to do after the first little bit but I like this fact. Rare went for simplicity and function, over content and RPG. It is a Zelda Game! Remember that I said that they just drop you into the world and the content that you see is the first level stuff. The game will reward those that explore. There is other content but advertise it openly. In fact, if you look at the loading screen there are hints there at other things you can do in the world. Also, keep in mind that Rare has stated that they will continue to add stuff all the time. And there are Raid folks.

    OK, the bad. It is just a little to linear. I would of been nice to see some random things happen in the world outside of just the Kracen at launch.    … Expand

I recommend everyone do what I done and buy a month of Xbox Gamepass and downloading it with no further cost.. if I do get bored within the next couple of weeks I will cancel gamepass knowing I spent £7.99 to enjoy this game for a few weeks instead of £50

    Esse jogo é mto top, ontem estava com meus amigos jogando em meio a uma batalha naval tripla, quando surge o kraken e começa a atacar todos os barcos. PQP me senti nos piratas do caribe, lutando contra o kraken e contra os outros navios ao mesmo tempo. Por sorte do destino conseguimos vencer a batalha naval e fugir do kraken com nosso loot valioso, uma galinha.

    This game a great.. it is something new in regards to the pirate experience. There is a lot to build on but as of right now the game is a 10 especially navigating the world with nothing but a map and compass getting in to ship battles getting drunk in game (actually have to know how to use a compass maybe that’s why some people don’t like the game).

    With a beautiful blue sea and dangers all around, the world fells alive and filled with possibilities! The matchmaking is superb on its role to find people to play and communicate, making everyone work together for the same goal. There are stil plenty more things to be done to make the game even better, but until then the time spent in the ship is still boring AF.

    Sea of thieves is easily an 8 out of 10. The game is designed to be played with friends you can play it by yourself. I have had a great time with it some interesting tactics can be deployed when fighting other ships which makes it all the more worth it.     however there is plenty to love and appreciate here. The game is beautiful, the world feels authentic because of the water and the weather and just generally all the systems working together to make the world feel like a real place. When you see an enemy ship on the horizon it FEELS authentic. as though you were out at sea and you happened to chance upon other pirates.

    A lot of the fun comes from keeping your head on a swivel and engagin other crews while you're out running missions or completing forts. In a way it feels like The Dark Zone from The Division. In that sense it offers a ton of great emergent gameplay and I personally recommend it.

    however i think most people would be safe waiting 6 months on this one. Price will inevitable come down and content will be added. There will come a point when the price/content balance will be struck. It really feels like there should be some sort of narrative driver in the game, as well as more in the way of life(NPC ships and populated towns would be nice, as well as innumerable other features.)

    Depending on how long the gameplay loop remains fun, the game may warrant a 7 rather than an 8. I'm not there yet so it feels like an 8 right now.    … Expand

    Gorgeous game, amazingly fun, great with friend and haven’t got the slightest bid bored in all my playtime (played every beta for as long as possible since January) Rare outdid themselves. I recommend if ya have friends to play with if not I still find it fun solo but I could see how some people might not enjoy it. Not a thing I would change except maybe the Kraken fight mechanics.

    We have nothing but respect for Rare's vision with Sea of Thieves, but it is a game as likely to chew you up and spit you out, as it is to embrace you. If the wind is in your favour then it can be a delight, but a storm is never far off if you lose momentum. The real test of the quality and efficacy of Rare's plan will be in how it manages to evolve and grow in the weeks and months to come. [Issue#199, p.67]
