    This game is an absolute RIOT. As a long time RPG'er, I wanted stats, gear, meaningful character progression, things many gamers want and like in a lot of different games these days. As I kept a weary distance from Sea of Thieves, I was eventually sucked in by my insatiable love for seafaring and similar minded friends. To date we've had 30-40 hours of pure, unadulterated bliss in SoT. IThis game is an absolute RIOT. As a long time RPG'er, I wanted stats, gear, meaningful character progression, things many gamers want and like in a lot of different games these days. As I kept a weary distance from Sea of Thieves, I was eventually sucked in by my insatiable love for seafaring and similar minded friends. To date we've had 30-40 hours of pure, unadulterated bliss in SoT. I rarely review things, but I knew what was happening around this game. Mainly the "next No Man's Sky," mantra being thrown around by the "1" raters... it's just not true. NMS was over hyped and under-delivered. Rare has been up front about what SoT is. The fact of the matter just is it won't please everyone. But those that are unhappy are of course !@#$'ing the bed about the fact that they paid for a game they are unhappy with, instead of being informed consumers. There is no one here to blame except themselves for making a purchase and being unhappy with it.

    As for the rest of us, we'll be sailing, and pillaging, and plundering, and swashbuckling, and having an amazing time in Sea of Thieves.

    The game is absolutely gorgeous. The art style is charming. The atmosphere captures what you expect or want out of a pure pirate-themed experience. The sailing is spot on. The combat is a little shallow, but it is tight enough to be learn-able and master-able. The navigation and looting is just a joy. I seriously can't wait to see what they have in store for this game's future.

    Sea of Thieves is unlike any other game you have ever played before. Your hand is not held, you are not safe, everyone has equal tools and weapons, but if you learn to be a good pirate and sailor you will do well. While this game can be less exciting solo it really makes up for when played with friends. The game is not a talent tree, or rpg gathering game, it is a treasure hunting gameSea of Thieves is unlike any other game you have ever played before. Além de um ambiente vasto consegue fazer com que as quests se tornam interessante e desafiadoras conforme vai se explorando cada vez mais. Além de belos gráficos é notável a estratégia da MS em fazer com que seus requisitos sejam alcançados em computadores de configurações inferiores sem perder a qualidade.

    jogo muito divertido principalmente jogando com amigos, o mapa é bem grande mas é comum encontrar outros jogadores vlw muito a pena pegar o game via Game Pass , pra mim SoT é altamente recomendado é bonito divertido e com ótima jogabilidade.

    O jogo é sensacional, desde o barulho da madeira rangendo até o nascer do sol refletindo na água mais bonita que eu já vi em um jogo, isso é apenas um detalhe no aspecto visual, não estou citando a física, fator diversão, co-op com os amigos e etc.
    Vale muito a pena dar uma chance ao jogo e tentar entender um pouco a proposta que ele quer passar ao jogador.

Without people to sail the seas with the fun factor drops off a bit. I'm giving it a 10 to counter all of the ridiculous trolls and their unsubstantiated zero scores.     Es un buen juego, en el cual la exploración es la principal mecánica, solo o con amigos, me ha dejado hasta el momento buenas sensaciones. Realmente le iba a poner un 9 porque los graficos de caricatura no me agradan del todo, pero después de ver algunas reviews, me doy cuenta que hay mucho sonyer disfrazado que no han probado el juego realmente pero vienen a dejar su mala calificación yaEs un buen juego, en el cual la exploración es la principal mecánica, solo o con amigos, me ha dejado hasta el momento buenas sensaciones. Most people complaining about lack of content either never played or if they did don't even know how to use the dodge move. This game doesn't hold your hand and the low reviews are from Sony fanboys or people who spent 4-5 hours in the game (basically a tutorial) and thought that's all there is. Try taking on a 4-man galleon all my yourself, until you can intimidate that kind of crew all alone then you haven't even started to know how to play this game. If you're still sailing around in your brown non-painted ship with white cloth as sails, it shows you have not experienced the game enough but when you're rolling up in a painted ship with an actual flag then you have the right to say this game has little content if you wish.… Expand

Chased by a Galleon, through a storm, past a Skull island, bailing out the ship - and lost the lot. The graphics are beautiful, ship mechanics top notch, and the game is plenty deep because you never know who you will come across. The combat can be aRelaxing, engaging and sometimes edge of your seat hectic. I found the chest of sorrows, trying to take it back to an outpost for the loot. Chased by a Galleon, through a storm, past a Skull island, bailing out the ship - and lost the lot. The graphics are beautiful, ship mechanics top notch, and the game is plenty deep because you never know who you will come across. The combat can be a bit clunky, but this is such a small criticism considering this game is a genuine breath of fresh air and something so different to the standard run and shoot games out there.     Esse jogo é mto top, ontem estava com meus amigos jogando em meio a uma batalha naval tripla, quando surge o kraken e começa a atacar todos os barcos. PQP me senti nos piratas do caribe, lutando contra o kraken e contra os outros navios ao mesmo tempo. Por sorte do destino conseguimos vencer a batalha naval e fugir do kraken com nosso loot valioso, uma galinha.

    If you ever wanted to play a game where you could be a pirate, this is your game. Sure it has a desire for more... but since the game is following "Game as service" model it will no doubt be added to the game and it will honestly only get better with time.

    This game is gorgeous. I played the alpha and beta and now retail release and can not get enough of how good this games looks and how fun it is alone and with friends. sailing the seas, finding treasure, skulsl, pigs, chickens and then avoiding or fighting other players is a blast. can't wait to see what additions are going to be added to this down the road.

    Sea Of Thieves is a game where you are a pirate and you find, sell, and steal treasure or items but warning spoilers ahead.. In the beginning you choose the character you want and your ship, then a short cutscene happens, you are in a tavern and you see a odd map. If you remember when you boot up the game you will see a intro, at the end you will see the “Athenas Fortune” symbol remember the map it shows a entry to the sea of thieves. Just so you know the game is online but you can go to manual but you will only play with your friends k?. Let’s get back to the game, so when you wake up and exit the tavern and you finally get to play the game. When you are finally playing you will get a tutorial on how to play the game and to get in your “tools” wheel, ,.how to walk/run, and your weapons. Once you learned all of this you get to set sail and sail the seven seas.

    Players have different experiences when playing Sea of Thieves. You can randomly be assigned on a ship and have to figure out, or force your role. Do you prefer to steer the ship, or stand watch in the crows nest? Man the cannons or repair the ship? Sometimes, it’s a scramble in the midst of a battle and people will fall into their roles.

    You can also talk to players, which changes the game experience. Some are cooperative and easy to work with. Some are hostile and nasty. Not only do you have to try and make a cohesive team on your own ship, but you have to be able to communicate effectively with other ships or you end up fighting to save all the treasure you found on the islands.

    Each island is likely to have hidden treasure and you have to use your treasure maps and hints to find the locations of them. More often than not, you’ll have to fight off waves of skeleton pirates who want to protect their treasure on skeleton forts or on land. Are you better with a gun or sword in a fight? You’re about to find out!

Cuando vi el juego en un tráiler hace 3 años, recuerdo mencionar que se me hacia un juego X, sin chiste un juego mas de con Online Permanente, sin embargo al permitirme jugar la BETA CERRADA, cambie totalmente de opinión, Jugué solo y mis primeras impresiones fue ver esas olas realmente realistas, debo decir que tengo una TV con HDR y hay una mejora realmente alta al ver el océano y los escenarios, realmente es un juego entretenido, pero donde mas me divertí fue cuando invite a mis amigos fue totalmente entretenido, el hecho de poner navegar sin que el mapa te indique a donde ir, debes guiarte con los instrumentos disponibles tal cual un pirata, como también los combates entre piratas se tornan muy entretenidos y por ultimo me encanta esa esencia de intriga y de suspenso de saber que hay mas al fondo del océano saber que asecha un kraken, sin duda un juego muy entretenido.… Expand

    The game is great with a FUN open world and player interaction. Good for casual gamers and"professionals" alike. I can recommend it also for a very good art style and thrill of the very danger pirate life. Watch out for the sharks!

    Best multiplayer experience I had in a long time. People giving it a 0 just didn't read enough about the game before playing. It's a open world sandbox where you can do whatever you want without having a specific end goal except for the legendary pirate title and perks that goes with it.     Sea of Thieves is an awesome game. The graphics are beautiful especially on the X which runs the game at native 4k. The combat mechanics are pretty solid and controlling your ship feels realistic. The water is by far the best water rendered in any game hands down. Sea of Thieves comes to life with friends the game is fun and entertaining playing alone but mp is where it really shines. ItSea of Thieves is an awesome game.     Apesar de ter começado ontem, o jogo já me entregou boas horas de diversão. Gráficos cartunescos com muitos detalhes, cores, e boa resolução, um tipo de mmorpg diferente de tudo que já joguei. Sua proposta pode não ser tão inovadora, mas sem sombra de dúvidas é muito divertido e tem um potencial para crescer ainda mais.

    Love pretty much everything about this game. Rare did a great job creating a game that feels different from the rest. People have been complaining about no progression system instead of focusing on being a skilled pirate working with their crew. Give it a chance people, its not as bad as you are making it.

This title brings me back to my childhood, to a time when Rare was a gaming giant releasing the best AAA games to ever grace the SNES.     We have nothing but respect for Rare's vision with Sea of Thieves, but it is a game as likely to chew you up and spit you out, as it is to embrace you. If the wind is in your favour then it can be a delight, but a storm is never far off if you lose momentum. The real test of the quality and efficacy of Rare's plan will be in how it manages to evolve and grow in the weeks and months to come. [Issue#199, p.67]
