    Greedfall is held back by performance issues and a tendency to fill its space with tedious padding, but it’s saved by fun combat and an intriguing story.

    Greedfall has some good ideas and nice writing. The player is often stimulated in a good way. But it totally falls apart in the very last third of the game, highlighting the flaws we agreed not to see until then.

    GreedFall is Spiders' best game by some distance, and it's impressive how far the developer has come in just a few short years. ItGreedFall is Spiders' best game by some distance, and it's impressive how far the developer has come in just a few short years. It successfully scratches that BioWare itch with an intriguing world, like-able characters, and rock solid gameplay. However, aside from its unique setting, nothing about GreedFall truly stands out. Its combat is good but not great, its role-playing is largely fine but ultimately stunted, and its writing is competent but sometimes boring. GreedFall is right on the cusp of being something special. RPG fans will find a lot to like, but don't go in expecting the genre's next masterpiece. I did have some good fun with Greedfall and some of it's pretty on the eyes scenery. The combat felt haphazard and with the few proper patches this could be an amazing game. It's unique at times very fun but something was just a-miss on a few of the smaller details. I look forward to a potential patch or maybe some DLC. After this isn't a bad game but a few small details could have made this a real shining star on the Xbox One.… Full Review »

Graphics, gameplay and everything in between goes from bad to mediocre.
    You have endless fetch quests, dumb combat, lazy world design where they literally copy and paste the same mansion for 3 different factions lol. Character designs are so ugly and the world feels bland and empty. Characters just walk around in small towns aimlessly and all 3 cities are identical like I mentioned, there are mansions, taverns and guard quarters that look identical on the inside....I could go on and on but this games not worth it...the ending is also such a letdown and not worth all the effort.    … Full Review »
