    I’m playing on the Xbox One S and the graphics and frame rate are absolutely terrible. Unless you have a high end PC or new generation console, I would avoid this game.

    The game crashes my Xbox One X regularly, waypoints and check points do not update during missions. Many quests are unplayable and must be reloaded to advance correctly. People and vehicles randomly spawn in and out. I fall through the world seemingly at random. The game is missing many of the features that were advertised, including the advanced wanted system.

    Shades of Anthem. Feel like I got the bait and switch. CDPR should not get a pass on this. I can deal with a buggy game if I know there are going to be patches or fixes, but CDPR went out of their way to hide problems on the consoles. Flat out LIES.

    It's not about if YOU like/enjoy the game. It's about CDPR promising one game, then taking pre-orders and delivering a different game. This game is missing so many promised features it's unrecognisable. Almost no one cares about the bugs, but we really should! Are your standards really that low? Wouldn't you be more happy if the Developer would actually test and release the game when it'sIt's not about if YOU like/enjoy the game. It's about CDPR promising one game, then taking pre-orders and delivering a different game. This game is missing so many promised features it's unrecognisable. Wouldn't you be more happy if the Developer would actually test and release the game when it's ready and not just because it's Golden Hour of the year to get most money? Then scramble to fix it later? They lied to Sony and Microsoft about the state of the game on the current gen consoles. It's simply fraud. If you like the game as it is, - great! Please, just take a step back and understand that this game you love is only 5/10 of what it was meant to be, you're basically denying yourself an even better game by kissing CDPRs ass and saying that they did a good job. Under no circumstances should anyone purchase Cyberpunk 2077 for the base    I cannot say more about this game than has already been said, but I needed to get these thoughts off my chest.

    I will never forget the moment I entered the open world for the first time, excited to play a game that I had been waiting for since 2016, and it looked like I was watching a PowerPoint presentation.

    Under no circumstances should anyone purchase Cyberpunk 2077 for the base Xbox One. The framerate consistently drops below 20 FPS, making the gunplay and open-world exploration unplayable. The graphics look muddy, blurry, and disgusting. Textures do not render as they should. There is pop-in everywhere you look. It was so bad that I returned my physical copy to Amazon the day after it arrived at my doorstep.

    The patches will improve performance and optimization; that is beside the point. The game needed at least 1-2 years more development time. When CD Projekt Red knew how poorly optimized Cyberpunk was for the base Xbox One and PS4 and released it anyway, they scammed millions of console players out of $60.

    I took no pleasure in writing this review. CDPR used to be my most trusted and beloved video game developer. To this day, The Witcher 3 remains my favorite game of all time, with almost 500 hours clocked into it. But the state that Cyberpunk released in is unacceptable and inexcusable. The management (not the developers) at CDPR should be ashamed of themselves.

    Perhaps someday, I will be able to return to Cyberpunk 2077 on a next-generation console and enjoy my time with it. But, for now, it is a disaster.    … Expand

    This game is simply BROKEN! DO NOT buy on Xbox One. CD Projekt and Sony both offered refunds for this faulty product. Microsoft refused me a refund after I pre-ordered it digitally from the Microsoft Store, which shows how little they care about their customers so I will now make the switch over to Sony after 19 years of loyalty to Microsoft.

    This is by far the worst game I have ever played. The longer you play the more BS bugs & glitches you will run into. They can fix a money glitch in a jiffy but can't fix a bug that legit doesn't let you pull out any weapon not even your fists so the only way u can kill an enemy is running them over with a car. Btw the driving in this game is as bad as Watch Dogs driving

    Total mess of a game on xbox, I feel cheated by CD Project and hope they hurry up and fix it as I cant get a refund and stuck with a game thats unplayable, if they cant fix it Im going to sell it on ebay, GTA5 is better than this game and it runs really well, I wont buy anything from CD Project again!

    Don’t buy C2077 on PS4/One... these versions look atrocious from PS3 graphics wise to tons of bugs... CDPR should be ashamed and sued for having hide those versions and worse, CDPR boss said before that last gen ports were running good... pure lies !!!!

    I was a huge fan of CD Projekt RED for 13+ years (since the first Witcher) and I liked the GOG's policy, despite preferring other platforms for their functionality. I really didn't want to bring this up, but the GOG/CDPR actions and attitude left me no choice.

    The Cyberpunk 2077 is raw, unpolished and bugged as hell. The more I play — the more broken quests, "silent" dialogues and other    I was a huge fan of CD Projekt RED for 13+ years (since the first Witcher) and I liked the GOG's policy, despite preferring other platforms for their functionality. I really didn't want to bring this up, but the GOG/CDPR actions and attitude left me no choice.

    The Cyberpunk 2077 is raw, unpolished and bugged as hell. The more I play — the more broken quests, "silent" dialogues and other technical issues I get. I was sending bug reports and suggestions to the CDPR support since release, but I haven't got any replies. Zero. Not even automatic ones, so I don't know if they even check them or no. There are no answers, there are no patches, there is no roadmap. The day-one patch arrived on GOG later than on other platforms and after that only two useless "hotfixes" were released (it didn't fix anything for me). No real patches for a month, no new hotfixes for weeks. The Russian localization is terrible and Galaxy client resetting the language preferences every time I launch the game. (There is no such problem on other stores). And the client still crashes ten times per day.

    I've heard a lot of complaints about optimization, but at least I don't have any significant problems on that front despite some minor fps drops and object popping. Though I've built my PC especially for Cyberpunk and my TV supports only 1080p resolution at 60fps which is likely the main reason I’ve got an ok performance.

    GOG/CDPR stuff keep ignoring all problems with Cyberpunk and Galaxy launcher, but this isn't the only problem they prefer to turn a blind eye for. Some of you may know that they decided to cancel the long-awaited release of an indie game Devotion on GOG to please some Chinese bots. They've slaughtered the game without any reasons (the little placeholder with the hurtless joke was completely removed from the game years ago). And the main problem in this situation that GOG staff answered on Twitter bot messages within a few hours by fully cancelling the promised release not only for China but for the rest of the world too. At the same time, they keep ignoring thousands of their own customers for weeks. They’ve just silently deleted the announcement and cancellation posts without any official statement/explanation/comment, ignoring all questions and support tickets about their decision. Just check the GOG’s Community Wishlist — it is the most requested game of December and January. This is just another sign that GOG/CDPR changed their policy from being pro-customer to being pro-money. It isn't the first call, but it can be the last one for many loyal customers. Censorship can't be tolerated, especially political censorship — I'm sick of this **** in my everyday life.

    So, after all of this, I’ve got really disappointed. I tend to buy way more games than I have time to play. And I prefer playing on another platform, but I used to buy second copies of the games I like on GOG only because I liked it's policy, customer-oriented service and wanted to support my favourite devs. But this isn't the thing anymore. I haven't even played 99% of the games I've bought on GOG, so, I've tried to request a refund for them. And they refused.

    GOG support has finally answered on my ticket. First of all, they've completely ignored all my questions about Devotion. Secondly, they've refused to refund anything (not a single game from 340+ in my library!) They've also refused to comment on the bugs and estimated release of next patch for Cyberpunk 2077. (They've told me to contact "CDPR official channels" that haven't answered to support tickets in a month). Finally, they've refused to partly refund my physical copy of Cyberpunk 2077 so I could get the Steam version instead (I don't want to be forced to buy future addons on GOG and use their broken launcher anymore). They've told me that I should refund my physical collector's edition where I've bought it. But it isn't possible after you've opened the box and used the activation code. Well, I will be waiting for heavily discounted GOTY/Director's Cut/Enhanced edition on other platforms then.

    I was supporting and advertising GOG for years. I've bought all CDPR games on release, including collector's editions and versions for different platforms (not to mention figurines and tons of other merch). I didn't expect that these companies’ management will start to wipe their feet on its loyal customers. I’ve missed the moment when they turned into EA/Activision siblings, but as far as history shows — it's the one-way road in this industry.

    This is the last game I've bought on GOG. In the current state, I can't recommend it to anyone, nor I can recommend this platform anymore. I'm disgusted by GOG/CDPR recent actions and their new priorities. I'm disappointed by the way they've decided to handle situations around failed Cyberpunk launch and Devotion censorship. Their reaction (the lack of it) on customers' feedback is a disgrace and I regret supporting them so much…    … Expand

The story is not even that good, as some people seem to suggest; it is really too short, cliché and lacks of depth. Unlike The Witcher, this is their first original story...

Im lucky and can afford a series X, but they aren’t available, I’m not building a PC as it is my friend groups plan to get the new Series X in the new year, so I’m f*^%#ed until then. Utterly hung out to dry. The nextgen version doesn’t even exist. This is by your own omission CDPR, as you cannot buy a PS5 or XSX version, only a “current gen backwards compatible version”. This is a scam, you owed someone money and apparently your investor daddy’s pockets were dry? This is less playable than Subnautica, how do you even do that. I’ve roamed through Red Dead’s forests, Ghost of Tsushima’s fields, and AC Valhalla’s mountains, yet driving for 3 minutes in 2077 broke me. With a heavy heart, I uninstalled CB2077 and decided to redo my mod list and rerun Skyrim. I recommend this with a Riverwood house mod and JK’s Riverwood. Add in a skill tree overhaul plus more kill moves and become a dual-dagger-wielding vampire assassin, maybe a daedra conjurer, or even a spear throwing paladin, and escape to a cozy world, until this one gets fixed.    … Expand

    Tak nie powinna wyglądać ani zachowywać się gra, która była rzekomo w produkcji od 2012. Gra absolutnie nie jest warta swojej ceny. Bardzo chciałbym żeby było inaczej jednak w rzeczywistości twórcy 8 lat produkcji i wielomilionowy budżet wykorzystali na reklamy.

    Very bad game mechanics, almost the same as Witcher 3 5 years ago. Downgraded grapchics like there is 2012 and Deus Ex: HR bootleg on Xbx 360 came out, but even in Deus Ex: HR the graphics were better.

    I said it before the last delay that it was shaping up to be an overhyped turd and sadly that's the case. I won't seek a refund as i'm hoping it'll be much improved when it should've been released - 6 months down the line.    … Expand

    I am on Series X and I want to give this game a 9/10, but I can't - it is way too buggy and I've experienced multiple quest-blockers. After a point where you jack in and steal the stuff you were trying to steal, the quest says "Follow Jackie" but he's below you, as he walked through the floor and the briefcase is suspended in mid-air. There's no way to finish the quest now. At earlier times, if you went to loot rooms like the bar on the first floor or your own suite, he would disappear and elevators and other quest-forwarding interactions would be disabled because Jackie is no longer with you.

    Honestly, I could tolerate my character being bald whenever I equipped a helmet, or the bodies floating in the air as if they were suspended in zero gravity, or the constant flickering of assets... but I cannot tolerate game-breaking bugs that can destroy an entire playthrough.

    Shame on CDPR for releasing the game like this. It needed 6+ months more of development and testing. There is no excuse for this. I can't even progress my story now because of these bugs and my game is broken. What a waste of money.    … Expand

Any game released 10 years ago looks better than this game, there are a lot of bugs, fps drops, extreme popping... Honestly, don´t buy this game. The disappointment of the generation unndoubtedly.

    Horrible frame rate in low teens, 720p resolution, literally millions of bugs, dishonest developer advertising as the game does not match videos and screenshots shown, frequent crashes, game runs incredibly poorly, and due to all of the above the game is not fun at all. This isn't a game; it's a mess and the developer owes the entire gaming community a big apology.

    Deserves the hate that it's getting, predatory gaming studio practice is becoming far too normalised. The game runs awfully, it's unfinished and simply does not deliver as advertised. It should be treated as any other product that is not as advertised, it's a scam. If you enjoy it, sure, but you're further convincing game studios that this kind of behaviour is acceptable.

    This is the worst game I've ever lived in. Everything is blurry, can't walk, can't run, can't drive. This game should have never been advertised or delivered to the ps4 or xbox one in this state. Needed about 20 more months in development. Once you get to the hacking part the game is completely unplayable. Don't order if you have a base xbox or ps4. Refunds work btw

    I usually never pre-order video games as a rule, but on the strength of Witcher 3 and reputation of CDPR, I pulled the trigger this time. What a mistake.

    The release of Cyberpunk is a clear example of why you should NEVER pre-order video games, no matter who creates or releases them.

    If the mighty CDPR can release rubbish like this, then NO ONE can be trusted anymore.

    Que decir que no se haya dicho ya, la estafa del siglo, hazte un favor a ti mismo y no gastes el dinero en este juego y menos al precio que intentan venderlo. Una pena por qué the Witcher estaba bastante bien, tuvo fallos al principio pero lo de esto ... Lo vendieron como la panacea ysl final no llega a cumplir, es más, se queda corto de llegar nisiquiera a considerarse como un juego completo.

    Luckily I got a refund and got my money back! Imagine actually paying to beta test this absolute GARBAGE GAME. I am never buying a CDPR product ever again. Not only is the game full of bugs and glitches, the game design elements are also extremely boring. Bullet sponge enemies, boring gunplay and fetch quests, huge fail.

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
