    Played roughly eight hours, the story and characters are fantastic so far, but I have been forced to stop playing it because of the absolutely ridiculous rendering speeds and lack of texture on EVERYTHING. NPC are similar to those found in Tony Hawks underground from fifteen years ago. TW3 is my favorite game of all time, so I was extremely excited for this game. Placeholder info litters the game, texture nightmares, NPCs and scenery popping in feet from the player and the gamecrashes on me every 2 hours of gametime almost like clockwork.     Unplayable on the Xbox One! How Microsoft and Sony even gave the game a green light is beyond me! Waste of money at this stage PS4 and Xbox One Owners should receive something at this stage from CDPR. they have lied to us and sold us a game that doesn’t work? I wish whoever makes decisions at this company could have seen my sons face when we attempted to play this fraud. Money over people prevails again.

    It's an absolute joke that people are giving this game a 10. After releasing an unfinished product that needs updates and still is broken. But the worst part is that they totally scammed console players. There is no way its a 10 but i guess people are brainwashed by the company which they owe nothing to and just showed that they are as money hungry as any company.

That is all the pros, both of which are immediately disregarded as the state of the game on Old-Gen consoles is despicable. For a game to have supposedly been in development for 7/8 years,Cyberpunk 2077 has potential that the majority of players will never see. For a game to have supposedly been in development for 7/8 years, and not perform at the BARE MINIMUM for the majority of players is outrageous. Insanely high count of bugs, lack of any reasonable resolution, a framerate that rarely reaches above 25 fps (can sit at 10-15 during intense sequences) and a multitude of crashes causes Cyberpunk to be the most unplayable game on the Xbox One I have experienced. I fear CD Projekt Red has tarnished their once great reputation, as I don't believe any amount of patches will restore this, even if it does make the game playable for the masses. Disappointed I wasted 7 years of excitement for this pathetic excuse for a game.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is in an absolute horrible state for the Xbox One S. I am stuck on the heist mission on my nomad playthrough. It'll go through the sequence and right when Jackie dies it crashes the game. I tried playing that mission 20 or so tries and everytime it would crash. I then had to delete the entire game and redownload it just to bypass the crash point. It makes no sense on how there are games that look just as good or better on xbox like gta 5 or RDR2. There just isn't an excuse when it started in 2012, before the xbox and ps4 released and then to have it in the state it's currently in. They even had their motto when asked when they were going to release it and it was: "We'll release it when its ready". This game doesn't in any form look ready. And even when bringing up the point that it's an "8 year old console" isn't acceptable and those people are the problem because if it runs this bad and wasnt even optimized then they shouldn't have even released it to xbox one or ps4. They in fact shouldn't have even made a release date till there was just bugs in the game to fix not this graphical pile of crap.… Expand

    Perhaps there is something amazing under the shadow of technical issues and the amount of bugs and maybe it doesn't deserve a 0, but the fact that they sold this game on last gen in this state is really scummy and unacceptable.

    I really wanted this game to be something we polish people can be proud of. But it's not even finished. It's REALLY NOT FINISHED. The city feels empty, NPCs are dumb as **** If you stop your vehicle on the road, AI will just stop instead of driving around. Dunno how could they release a game in a state like this.

    Extremely disappointed with this game. I waited a long time, and they had years, years of development. There are no excuses! In addition to blurred graphics, glitches in animations, FPS drops, the game came with Portuguese dubbing without any audio! They lacked honesty and the truth, I feel like I was robbed. The first impression is what remains, and they have failed.

    This game is terrible and I am genuinely sad and upset they ripped me off. And im not even talking bugs. Everything is soulless, an empty husk of what could of been a great game. I've never reviewed a game before, but felt obligated to warn others. I feel dirty for pre-ordering this crap. CDPR should be ashamed.

The NPC AI is straight out of PS2, Driving mechanics garbage, Lackluster voice acting, Presentation is god awful, No real vehicle or character customization, Police spawning randomly, Way too many things on the screen to ever feel immersive, Unfinished buggy mess, The Physics in this game is non existent, Disaster of a launch. Next generation open world LMAO.

    Terrible it's not playable on Xbox s I'm gutted i was unable to get an Xbox series X I will s soon as I can. Where the performance of the game is definitely better same on a ps5 but on my current generation Xbox s this is terrible. A big patch came out yesterday it's done nothing to improve performance of stability.

    This game is a shame. I only have it because i could not refund it. Ill keep trying though. Im Brazilian, so i had to wait for days until i could play the game with Brazilian portuguese dubs. Although i do speak english fluently, i'd still love to play the game on my language, ESPECIALLY because im a fan of a Brazilian dude that dubs Ozob, a character in the game. When walking around the city you ll see the rendering monstrocities that this game can produce, from npcs that look like lara crofts **** from ps1 to roads that dont render. Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that suffers of so many bugs, that even the mechanics that should be the differentials, and make the game stand out, may be confused with bugs. After TW3, Cyberpunk is a shock of reality, disappointment and confusion. The state that this game is makes you want to ounch the dudes that wanted it to not be delayed back in november.… Expand

There is no third person on foot, yet a customizable avatar -- makes no sense. The console versions are even emptier, but all your missing are blank NPCs. There are hardly any interior spaces that can be explored in free roam. There is virtually no way to access the verticality of NC. The game is just an empty shell with a short storyline. There are no memorable collectibles or any way to decorate your apt. The gun room is just a blank canvas with no way to add weapons to it.Etcetera. It's not a good sandbox game.     I started playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Wednesday after work. By Sunday night i was saving with about 38 hours in. The game is absolutely wonderful. I understand that there are gripes with it not being as crisp as the ad materials portrayed but remember it is running on a console. I have a series X that runs the game very good compared to what I've heard yes the game has crashed a few times inI started playing Cyberpunk 2077 on Wednesday after work. By Sunday night i was saving with about 38 hours in. The game is absolutely wonderful. I understand that there are gripes with it not being as crisp as the ad materials portrayed but remember it is running on a console. I have a series X that runs the game very good compared to what I've heard yes the game has crashed a few times in my almost 40 hours but after the hot fix on Saturday the game ran smoother and I expect it to continue to get better. If you are unable to secure a next gen system my advice would be to wait. However the game is great when it is able to be played it is probably already one of my favorite games ever!… Expand

You know those dreams where it feels like someone put cloth over your eyes and can barely see where you're going? That's exactly the feeling i had playing this. Returned on the marketplace the 11th and I will not be buying the 'new and improved' version.

    Good lord is this horrible, I wish I could get a refund. Every 360 game looks better than this dumpsterfire, and the gazillion bugs force you to uninstall it within 90min.
    I'd rather eat a bowl of rusty nails than continue playing this.
    Shame on you CDPR, you robbed every single customer of their money.

    Driving in Night City feels terrible too. Not only because it feels like you are driving in a 2005 game, but also because in this megalopolis you can find an average of three cars as you drive by an avenue, not to mention drivers won't react to any of your actions but honking.
    The weapon and loot system don't work for me either. The game kind of invites you to loot tons of garbage, as for the weapons, the upgrade system doesn't make much sense when you are finding a slightly better weapon every minute.
    AI is close to nonexistent.
    Night City is an empty city with nothing to do in it.

    The list could go on, but my main complaint is about CDPR since they felt like a unicorn in this cheating gaming industry we have. Not anymore.
    They have been fueling our expectations to release this unplayable, unfinished, and lackluster supposed to be RPG, which fails to fulfill the promises they made when promoting it. The only words that come to mind are scam and disappointment.

    Gets the 1 for having an entertaining main story shadowed by any other aspect of the game, from design and bugs to an advertisement campaign built around lies.

Parts of it remind me of the original Deus Ex... not as in they were inspired by the original Deus Ex, as in parts of it actually look like the original Deus Ex. Deus Ex was released in June 2000.

    This is just a very badly-made game, and I don't think patches and dlc will fix it. It is underwhelming as an open world game, and as an RPG as well. Choices in quests don't really matter, your cybernetics don't really matter, you cannot give your character a haircut much less see their progressive cyborg-ification. Frankly nothing really matters, it is essentially a simple open world shooter/action game with light RPG elements. Cybernetics just add a bit of flavor to the combat sequences, which are extremely linear and are plagued by the same bad NPC AI that I mentioned earlier. Honestly, between the empty city with no one to interact with and no buildings to enter and nothing to explore, the lack of any meaningful effect for any of your choices, the lack of any meaningful effect for your choice in cybernetics, the very limited dialogue options, the pointlessness of crafting, the linear combat sequence... I don't think this game is actually an RPG. It is about as much of an RPG as Arkham City, and runs worse. I can't recall a game being such a massive let down in every aspect, from technical stuff to game design. Yikes. I got a refund.    … Expand

It is instead a dizzying experience where your eyes have to readjust constantly, after less than an hours play my eyes were bloodshot and i had to stop.     Broken mess, deceitful behaviour. Disgusting! Wilfully withheld review knowing they’d released an unfinished travesty on console. Playing on Xbox one x. Within an hour had numerous slow down, one major crash, two long freezes, characters walking through cars, random text floating on screen.

I was deceived by CD Projekt Red and im writing this ik hopes that others won't be deceived and have their hard earned money wasted on a game that looks like its on a Xbox 360.

    First time buying a CD Projekt Red title and will also be my last time buying from this studio. Game runs at 15fps (maximum), looks nothing like gameplay trailers we were given by the studio, and will no doubt require many patches to fix all the bugs, glitches, graphical issues, etc. Will not be playing again. Left a horrid taste in my mouth.

    DO NOT BUY.

    there is no 3-person view and no keyboard and mouse support. Prode so hyped on the game, and the basic things to do or could not or did not want.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is so great. City is huge, story is deep and very interesting. Many ways to build your character.
    I am playing on XBX and there are no crashes and no bugs other than some small graphics one.
    If you are into RPG games this one is must have :)

    Grausam zu spielen auf der Xbox one S. Von der matschig verschwommenen Grafik bekomme ich nach einer Stunde Kopfschmerzen, auch mit Hotfix 1.04. Die AI ist grottig bzw. nicht vorhanden. Keine Immersion, Fahrphysik schlecht. Zur Story kann ich nicht viel sagen weil ich mir das nicht weiter antun wollte.

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
