    Really this game is Moder Warfere "3"; I cant believe its another game. It feels too much like MW2 DLC. The gameplay is equal, the history is very "cliche" and predictable, and the multiplayer is the same of the last 4 games... really? I think this "Call of Duty" will die like "Guitar Hero". I will save in my memory CoD 2 and 4. The others are only DLCs with a full-game cost.

    If you have Modern Warfare 2 don't waste your money on this game. It is the same exact game with a different campaign. There is nothing Innovative about this game it is seriously Call of Duty MW2. Stop giving the developers 60 dollars for the same game.

    This game is horrible, you cant even create ranked custom games so that you can farm xp with your friends then be 12 years old and camp in corners and just win all day. How dumb. Also guys have guns and shoot at you, I need a game where the other players can't shoot back because I'm pretty bad.

    disappointing game,boring campaing levels and the multiplayer is the same as mw2.I loved modern warfare 1 because it brings innovation to the gender and multiplayer made the game been amazing but after that each call of duty game is more of the same.

    infiniity ward what happened im going to go play call of duty 2 again (best call of duty ever!!!!) at least it will be a change even if the game is 6 years old

    alright the maps are really bad. a couple like CTown and Dome should not have even made the game. It feels like clostrophobic version of Black Ops and MW2 skins. game is not as advertised. the only thing that the game has brought back is Quickscoping. So my montages will be good, but I barely have had fun playing this for the 15 hours I've played it. It's just a huge disappointment.alright the maps are really bad. a couple like CTown and Dome should not have even made the game. It feels like clostrophobic version of Black Ops and MW2 skins. game is not as advertised. the only thing that the game has brought back is Quickscoping.     Not what I was expecting at all, waste of money. For starters Elite has been nothing but a hassle and I regret talking my friends into getting it. I was told I'd receive exclusive content, that I have yet to see. Still wondering why I was not handed a field journal as promised. All in all, they took the same tired game, small maps, and PC like graphics and threw in a bunch of nonsenseNot what I was expecting at all, waste of money.     No innovation whatsoever except for a few maps and weapons/tweaks. While some may think this is an amazing game, its just the same game we've been playing for the past few years with a new number slapped onto it. Seriously, I regret getting this again. Just the fact that they release this game every year, I wouldn't be surprised if they announced another Call of Duty game in a month.     I think they are like Al-Gore and don't want destroy our world by making new stuff. Oh wait, now you can pay more for something they call ELITE. Maybe it's the Elite pass to the space ship to evacuate the world

    I have been playing FPS for a decade now and have loved the CoD series but have now lost my patienc. I felt let down by Modern Warfare 2 then the cash in Black Ops but all MW3 is is jus MW2 in a new skin but no real new innovation. Guess it's now the new guitar hero and madden.

    Horrible game. Feels exactly like MW2. Activision only cares about money and releases sequel after squeal without giving and consideration to their actual games.

    WTF...This game is a POS. Same stuff all over again. They did nothing to improve the graphics or story. Weapon selection is horrible. What a waste of money. Wish I knew before I bought it. I feel cheated.

    Thought I would give the game a fair chance so I decided to buy it and I didnt have any expectations. The odd thing is that the game even failed to entertain me and that's without talking about all the 12 years old boys I keep hearing on the game...

Actually, pardon me, this isn't a map pack. Oh no, this is "much more than that." This game features an incredibly lengthy single player mode that can be beaten in a little over 5 hours! Wow! The game also has the returning Spec Ops mode that is no where near as addicting as Black Ops Zombie mode, and, let's not forget, the multiplayer mode.

    Did you enjoy the perks, level-up system, and guns of the previous Call of Duty games? Well, they're back, and just the same as ever. No innovation has been brought to the plate this time, and Infinity Ward has opted to go with the good 'ol "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach. The maps are all incredibly small, some of which are comparable in size to a backyard. The maps encourage camping and lack the epic scope that other FPS multiplayer maps offer.

    But you know what? Infinity Ward should be commended for creating the CoD Elite system, where you can keep track of your various stats from previous matches you partook in. This is CLEARLY an innovative system that not many FPS' offer nowadays (*cough* Halo and Battlefield *cough*). Not only that, but you can also choose to give Infinity Ward your credit card information so you can get each map pack released within the next 12 months! This is obviously a sweet deal, since each map pack will cost $15 anyways if purchased separately. And each map pack will contain 4-5 shallow maps that don't encourage any new tactics different from the maps that come included with the game.

    So all this for only #60? Why, it's a steal! It's not like I've already played this SAME EXACT GAME twice before already! Infinity Ward obviously spent the past two years crafting the best multiplayer FPS available. It's not innovative, it's repetitive, it doesn't reward clever tactics, and it offers an extremely shallow single player mode. BUT! It has multiplayer, complete with lag, hit-detection issues, and overpowered guns! What more could a pre-pubescent 13 year old boy ask for this Christmas?    … Expand

    I am really dissapointer with this game. No only single player, but multiplayer, graphics, sound and even maps? EVERYTHING is reused from past games, plus a very expensive suscription? I can only tell you: THIS IS THE FARMVILLE OF FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS. Period.

    Bought this game yesterday, and after putting the disc in I noticed that they had accidentally put MW2 in the box. After looking at the top of the disc I noticed that they must have printed the wrong game label since it said MW3. I was disappoint.

    Really 45 for the same game so now i have paid £135 for one game and 2 expansion packs. Single player boring and way too short graphics ok but looking dated, multiplayer meh! The run and gun is getting old now maps are tiny compared to bf3 mechanics the same for 3 years now. I get it that if it aint broke dont fix it but not doing anything to it is.     Just rented it, to test it out, and it's just the same old crap. Nothing original. Just trying to ride out the money train. Campaign is the same monotonous, "kill generic bad guys to get to the next scripted event", garbage. You can just play any other modern warfare to get the same multiplayer.

    The story is just completely awful s everything else, including the blurry graphics.
    I would not recommend anyone to get this game. Better spend your money on The new Batman game, Gears of War 3 or Uncharted 3.

    More like Modern Warefare 2 expansion. Jumping into the single player feels just like you've been here before. Nothing fresh which you would hope to expect. The graphics are not an improvement at all.
    Jumping into multiplayer will make you want to jump out once the attack helicopters start coming every second.

    They are turning first person shooters into sports games, same blimmin' game just remixed and re-released. If we are willing to put up with this no progress in game engines will ever happen. It's just lazy.

    Once again another cookie cutter sequel, this game has no shine to it, it is simply the same garbage that's churned out each year by activision. I urge you deeply not to buy this game!!!! Worst money I've spent in years! Buy skyrim though.... :D

    Terrible game. Cut and paste of mw2. It is so bad, don't even try it out. Barely anything has changed and it sucks. It is just a $60 dollar expansion pack.

The lack of vehical's and broken class system creates a very very dry and plain expirence.     After cod4 i think they just gave up. little has been done to make us feel like this game is worth 60$ more like a mini-mod or a dlc for 20$ max. maby if they spent more money on the game it self and not wasting 1mill on **** pr stunts and videos.

    Yes, MW3 is better than a zero. But I don't take kindly to a developer begging people to raise his game's score. Not to mention that Modern Warfare 3 failed to innovate in any sort of meaningful way.

    Ultimately, Modern Warfare 3 feels similar to it's brethren, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great game. The single player element is still exciting, and multiplayer has more options than ever – if you're a fan of Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3 is a no brainer.

    I never expected Modern Warfare 3 to go toe-to-toe with EA's juggernaut this year, but it came out of the gates with a tour de force campaign and co-op mode. It loses points with a perhaps too-familiar multiplayer that caters to the juvenile on Xbox Live; though don't be mistaken, Modern Warfare 3 is one hell of a shooter and a highlight for a series that just won't die – no matter how much we wish it bloody would, at times.
