    This game is REALLY fun. Even if you've played Breath of the Wild, there's mountains of new content in the sky, surface, and underworld that it exceeds Breath of the Wild both in terms of quality and quantity. Ultrahand is genuinely one of my favorite game mechanics to ever be implemented into any game. Ever. The puzzles you can solve and the contraptions you can create with it are beyondThis game is REALLY fun. The boss fights are a lot more fun and interesting, the combat is good and really satisfying, and even if you start playing and the whole game just doesn't feel right, like how I went into the game, just know that it gets way, way, WAY better, and you will NOT be disappointed. All you need is to see all the surprises the game holds. It is ABSOLUTELY worth 70 dollars and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.… Expand

    Simply amazing, they have evolved all the good stuff from BOTW and this, mixed with a really good story and a bigger map, is really AWESOME
    there some technical issues (is still a switch) but the greatness of the game is incomparable

    The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is a worthy sequel to Breath of the Wild. The game offers so much more than its predecessor and in no way feels like a copy! Definite game recommendation

    This game is amazing. For all those who loved BOTW's style, don't worry - it is an even better version. And they even fixed all the problems of BOTW. Having played the game (unlike those troll 0 stars), I can say it is one of the best ever! Definitely worth $70.

    Fantastic addition to the Zelda series, this game is by no means just a re-skin of BOTW, the new mechanics are really fun and intuitive once you get past the learning curve. There’s so much packed into this game it’s hard to NOT get distracted when exploring the world. It is absolutely massive and honestly really impressive that it runs on the switch as smoothly as it does.     J'attends ce jeu depuis au moins 6 ans (avant qu'il ne soit annoncé oui). Pour l'instant, j'ai 10-15h de jeu, et le jeu est sublime ! Une histoire beaucoup plus profondes, des sanctuaires moins longs (ça dépend) et qui utilise la physique incroyable de ce jeu grâce aux pouvoirs. Pour l'instant, je n'ai à peine dépassé les 5% du jeu et je l'adore. Franchement, les graphismes ne sont pas unJ'attends ce jeu depuis au moins 6 ans (avant qu'il ne soit annoncé oui). Pour l'instant, j'ai 10-15h de jeu, et le jeu est sublime ! Une histoire beaucoup plus profondes, des sanctuaires moins longs (ça dépend) et qui utilise la physique incroyable de ce jeu grâce aux pouvoirs. Franchement, les graphismes ne sont pas un problèmes, du 30 fps constant (98% des cas, car le jeu peut lagger pendant 2-3 secondes quand tu découvre une nouvelle zone). Bref, on s'habitue très vite au 30 fps (au bout de 1h environ), au point que l'on ne le sens plus. (ça peut dépendre des gens je pense). Le jeu est très beau et la render distance et l'optimisation (pas les jeux game freak)est un savoir chez nintendo maintenant je rappelle que la console a 4go de RAM. la construction est sublime, il y a déjà des glitchs de dupli, et sûrement plein de glitch à venir grâce aux pouvoirs. Tu as pour au moins 500h de jeu. Bref il est sorti il y a 3 jours et pourtant c'est déjà un must have ! N'hésitez pas du tout à le prendre.… Expand

    This is a amazing game and if you can you should definitely try it. Even though the switch is having a hard time keeping 30 fps when using one of the new key abilities, it is not very noticeable.

    This is why we playvideo games. Video games as a whole culminate in this. A pure fantasy of wonder and excitement that makes total use of your smarts and imagination. Zelda games set the standard of quality for the entire industry, and this one seems years ahead lf it's time. I hope this game makes you [reading this] as happy as it has made me. (the special edition console is ugly tho lol)

    I regarded BoTW as the best video game ever made, and ive been gaming since around 1986 when I was 6. Ive beaten many zelda games as well. ToTK has surpassed my expectations once again. Nintendo, keep making them and I'll keep playing. GREAT GAME GUYS!!!

    I'm not very far into the gameplay right now, but I 100%'d BOTW and have a good sense for the new features and new locations in TOTK. The same problems that BOTW had, exist in this game: poor voice acting, very little story to drive you, side quests of older zelda games have largely been abandoned in favour of korok seed mini games and a hundred different temples scattered all over theI'm not very far into the gameplay right now, but I 100%'d BOTW and have a good sense for the new features and new locations in TOTK. The same problems that BOTW had, exist in this game: poor voice acting, very little story to drive you, side quests of older zelda games have largely been abandoned in favour of korok seed mini games and a hundred different temples scattered all over the map.

    I think if they could have just taken the size of the BOTW map, but made the population of NPCs as intricately connected and as interactive as Majora's Mask with similar improvements to the story, this would have been a slam-dunk 11 out of 10 "Nintendo sets the standard again," kind of game. Instead they opted to dive harder into the open-world aspects, taking cues from minecraft of whatever. Which isn't all bad. I have definitely gotten lost for several hours just exploring and inventing things and I can see myself getting hundreds, if not thousands of hours of game time with this game.

    But when I think Zelda, I think of a bustling castle with people living their lives, with hundreds of side-quests available to really become the hero the people. Instead this game is more about solitary exploration with some big bad bosses lurking around should you choose to encounter them. Good game, great even, but I think my expectations for the Zelda franchise are a little different than what we got with BOTW and TOTK.

    If you would rate BOTW a 10, then I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy TOTK. For me BOTW was more like an 8 or a 9, and I'm probably less critical of it because it was a fresh new take on the franchise at the time. But with TOTK it does feel very much like more of the same, and I was hoping we'd get some strong improvements to the story and things that were otherwise weak in BOTW. We did not. The additions are fun and strongly support the open world aspects of the game, allowing you to be creative and just kinda muck around in the game doing a lot of nothing for hundreds of hours... but because inventions in this game also lack permanence it can feel kinda hollow when you spend hours trying to design a hovercraft, only for it to despawn between save states.    … Expand

The new abilities completely change everything you ever thought what a Zelda game could be.     Veo que dejan calificar con 0 a cualquier persona, así que hice una cuenta solo para ponerle un 10 y contrarrestar un poco la falta de cerebro de esas personas. Nisiquiera he jugado el juego pero no se le puede poner un 0 o un 5, que tienen en la cabeza? no es nuestro problema que hayan jugado BOTW un año entero y esten artos, quienes lo califican mal lo califican desde su miserable vacío.

    However, for me, this is more than what I ever expected. I am so pleased with it and the design, and I don't care that it's the exact same world as BotW. Personally, that's why I like it so much. It's familiar but also not at the same time. I find the story to be intriguing and is helping connect other lore from other games in the franchise as well. I like the aspect of having to overcome a major setback after having set Hyrule on a course of recovery, as it mirrors what actually can happen in real life (obviously i don't mean the whole magical beasts and things of that nature being in real life...)

    Don't get me wrong here though. There are things that I don't like (still can't pet the dog! :(....) but again, it's so minuscule in comparison to the size and depth of the game overall.

    The visuals of the game are stunning and some of the changes are so enjoyable to me (ex: some of the ways you get korok seeds adds a further level of interaction with the koroks that is absolutely adorable.) And i genuinely don't care what others say in regards to the dialogues and voice-acting. Matthew Mercer as Ganondorf could not be anymore perfect and while I'm only done the first major plot point regarding the different races and groups of people, I can already tell how pleased I am with the new characters and how we are involved with them.

    And Tulin is a precious muffin who I will die on every hill for.

    I could go on and on about this game from a psych level as well but this isn't the space for an essay or dissertation so I'll leave it at this. The game is amazing and by no means is it perfect but I honestly don't know that a perfect game does or will ever exist. And that's why I love it so much.    … Expand

    As an OG BOTW player who has spent over 300 hours on the game, I’d say Nintendo has done it again and have a created a new and yet slightly familiar world that has done nothing other than overwhelm me with the amount of new content everywhere I look. 10/10

    the new Zelda tears of the kingdom is amazing there are lots of stuff to do and i am having so much fun the dungeons are so fun and original and they really made me think overall it is a 10/10(for people who are scared to buy it just go for it I thought it was going to be bad but it was incredible and it is a perfect sequel)

    All the best of Breath of the Wild with some quality of life fixes. Would've been nice if we could manually remap controller buttons, but oh well.

    The construction mechanic is surprisingly fun. I was expecting to be annoyed by it, but nah I actually really enjoy being able to have at it with the various pieces of technology and being able to tie them together with Ultrahand. Clearly    All the best of Breath of the Wild with some quality of life fixes. Would've been nice if we could manually remap controller buttons, but oh well.

    The weapons breakage does get annoying, and I'm much less likely to get into combat with it. Maybe if the master sword is similar to BotW once I get it back (I assume I will?), I can use that for combat and mining. Also need to figure out the best ways to farm rupees, as I want to get cold weather armour (done) and hot weather armour (not yet done) and start upgrading the pieces.

    Anyway tho putting lots of time into the game, Nintendo knows its audience, and I'm apparently part of their target group. Am about thirty shrines in with the entire surface map unlocked, so it's time to start progressing the main story with a decent number of hearts.

    Highly recommend to those who loved Breath of the Wild. Others, well, maybe try that one first.    … Expand

    This game has added many things that were missing in botw. This game gives us new abilities and we have underground too with sky. According to me it is the best open world game I have ever played.

    Aunque el juego no tiene una diferencia como los demás ya que si vemos que hay diferencias en todo de Twiligth Princess a Skyward Sword y en este no hay muchos cambios gráficos de su antecesor, logra compensar esa falta de innovación con la cantidad monstruosa de otras cosas innovadoras, es la secuela perfecta, un mundo completamente libre como ya habíamos visto pero ahora Hyrule se siente distinto en todo, la implementación del subsuelo hace que el juego se sienta inmenso, tardas horas en ir de un punto a otro y si bien ya hay mucho juegos similares como Elden Ring, créeme que Tears of the Kingdom es algo que te hará sentir una nueva sensación si eres fan de los mundo abierto.    … Expand

    Is it different from the traditional, linear Zelda games? Yes, definitely. BOTW and TOTK build on the open-world dynamics of Wind Waker and the original Legend of Zelda, with survival elements, and by expanding the collection theme we've seen in some games. I understand why some fans of the traditional model feel betrayed and confused by the new games' popularity.

One of the Best Games i ever played, such a good game too for my Adhd brain because there's a lot to do. whether it is depths, the sky islands, or even just the surface I get absorbed and forget what I'm supposed to be doing. (for example: Gonna go to impa for quest, sees a tower and go there, while midair sees a sky island then proceed to go there too. 8 hours later i was at the depths mining zonaite for extra batteries lol.)… Expand

    I haven't played it to the end yet, but I can already say that it is the best game I have ever played and also the best Zelda I have ever played. My favorites are Ocarina of Time and Skyward sword and I just have to say that Tears of the kingdom does everything better in any way possible. Yes, Ocarina of time and skyward sword are older and yes they are more linear, but I am focused onI haven't played it to the end yet, but I can already say that it is the best game I have ever played and also the best Zelda I have ever played.     This game is incredible, from the sky, to the ground, to the depths, it is an adventure with all kinds of mystery’s to unravel.
    The story begins with a gripping search for the source of a mist that has sickened many people of Hyrule. You are pulled into it and it seems as if you are there. As the story unfolds, you are pulled into it and do not want to put the game down. You are stuck on the story, the mechanics, and the map. You surely will enjoy this game, and I would recommend it to anyone. It is a Game Of The Year contender, and the bar has been set high, very high.    … Expand

    O jogo é incrível, pegaram o jogo antigo e aprimoraram e aperfeiçoaram, simplesmente lindo, ganhou em todos pontos, uso da criatividade, novas mecânicas, o mundo aberto, a história, os gráficos são 10/10.



    OBS: NÃO JOGUEI, mas vir Gameplays e está muito melhor, inclusive eu que não conheço a franquia Zelda, já gostei do jogo.

    This game is so incredibly good I cannot even begin to comprehend it. For someone that could not get past the Great Plateau in Breath of the Wild, it feels so incredibly rewarding and fun to play this game.

    O Jogo está perfeito. Fiquei horas somente explorando e ignorei a historia por um bom tempo. Somente fazer algumas side quest e algumas aventuras já vale muito a pena, o jogo está completo, com o mapa recheado de desafios tanto no subsolo, quanto na terra e no céu, dificil você andar por muito tempo e não achar nada para fazer naquela região, fora que o mecanismo de Ultrahand te permiteO Jogo está perfeito.     Questão Graficos, para quem joga Zelda a muito tempo, sabe que graficos não definem o quanto você pode se divertir em um jogo, mas se você está acostumado com graficos ultra realistas de PS5, XBOX e etc. vai sentir uma estranheza, porem nada que não dê pra se adaptar.
    Joguei o jogo no switch V1 e foram poucos momentos que tive queda de FPS, porem não atrapalhou em NADA na gameplay.
    Só senti falta de localização PT-BR, o que espero que a NINTENDO disponibilize em breve em alguma atualização.    … Expand

    After playing the game prequel about 2 months ago, my first zelda game, I started this game with high expectations, it didn't take long for me to understand that I was in front of a masterpiece, exploration, plot, lore, links to the old game , easter egg, reference, great graphics. I think this game is perfection and I have an absurd desire to play the old games, incredible.

    A really great game that will give you hours and hours of entertainment.
    Good optimization for a console that is not at the top of graphics or power, but it shows the work of a good optimization.
    The prize is higher than other Nintendo games but is worth it.
    I don't have anything bad to say about this game.
    Just great.

    Honestly, I expected less from the game. I thought that Hyrule would not be very interesting because of the same map, but after playing the first 5 hours, I realized how wrong I was. New mechanics, large-scale new locations. Finally, they tightened the plot, and now it is more pleasant to watch it. The gameplay has become even more interesting and enjoyable. Now I have already managedHonestly, I expected less from the game.     This game isn't just a "DLC" as some have stated, and is in fact one of the best games to come out in a long time in a sea of microtransaction filled games these days.

    Breath of the Wild was a great game, and yet this game makes it feel like a tech demo, I won't be surprised if this game wins Game of the Year.

    One of the best games I have ever played. The world has indeed changed from its predecessor, enough to feel like a fresh new experience. In addition, the story has been upgraded from the previous game, and, while combat remains the same, it was already a great system.

    This is most definitely the world's best game of all time. The way of story telling, building on the series and the character development seems to be not from this world and is very amazing.

    To talk about TotK, first I need to talk about my expectations about the game before it was released. I have over 500 hours of Zelda BotW and it ended up becoming my favorite game so far! When I heard that they were working on a sequel I was quite surprised and curious how they would work on a sequel to a game that didn't seem to be possible to improve. Today that I played Zelda TotK I have the conclusion that they really delivered everything they promised and much more! They broke the Zelda BotW barrier of freedom that I didn't even think could improve, and in Zelda TotK they improved EVERYTHING! I don't want to give SPOILERS so I'm just going to say that the phrase "Sky Is The Limit" today makes even more sense in Zelda TotK… Expand

Tears of the Kingdom was an amazing game, I originally had my doubts about it being a rehash, but with the new Storytelling through Dragontears and modern story arcs. Especially Zelda becoming (and then unbecoming) a damn dragon just to restore the Master Sword is awe inspiring. The Story had me in tears (haha) multiple times for multiple reasons, that's basis for a GOTY in itself.

    But the gameplay, oh good God the gameplay was amazing. I could create a freaking tank if I wanted to. One time I couldn't get past the monsters at Fort Hateno, and so I created my "Oh **** Wagon" which was a wagon with walls a roof, and fans. I charged the camp, lit on fire, and escaped on low health laughing the whole time. Yes my design failed, but it also succeeded at the same time, and gave me a good laugh. That's what the gameplay of Tears of the Kingdom does, it makes you laugh, it makes you feel clever, it makes you entertained and wonder "what can I do next?" That's beautiful game design.

    All in all, with Gameplay as good as this, Story as good as this, and Graphics as good as the Switch allows. Tears of the Kingdom runs well, and is such a blast to play. I look forward to November, when I watch this game take it's Game of the Year crown, just like it's predecessor.    … Expand

The open world's similarities end at the first glance, and has content at an unimaginable scale. The world's many layers, quests, puzzles, encounters and sheer possibilities will keep you playing for what feels like eternities. I've never in a game had the feeling ofThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was my favourite game of all time, and Tears of the Kingdom exceeds it in every way. The open world's similarities end at the first glance, and has content at an unimaginable scale. The world's many layers, quests, puzzles, encounters and sheer possibilities will keep you playing for what feels like eternities. I've never in a game had the feeling of freedom and wonder shine so clearly. The only negative i can think of is the hardware, it is an absolute miracle that a game with a map over twice the size of Elden ring's can run on the Nintendo switch.

    This game offers the pinnacle of open world design with a soundtrack and spectacle that will leave you in awe for years to come.     This game is simply amazing, the story is much more interesting than botw, the world feels denser, the abilities are freaking incredibly fun to use, every puzle can be solved in many different ways if you think enough of it, It's not just the same game again, it's a brand new experience, definitely recommend

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
