    Along with breath of the wild, my favorite game on the nintendo switch. Again with this delivery, Mario is crowned as the king of video games. Excellent technical and artistic section. Fun and addictive until raging. Easy to play but difficult to master. New mechanics and spectacular movements. Nothing bad to say about this game. 10/10.

    This is a really nice game that you should consider buying if you like platforming. At first I was a little disappointed because the main campaign was way too easy, but as you are progressing it becomes more challenging and if you try to complete all the power moons you will find some hard challenges that are satisfying to beat. This is my first Super Mario game and I really enjoyed it, IThis is a really nice game that you should consider buying if you like platforming.     I loved playing this Mario game, but I feel that Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 on the Wii are still my favourite Mario games (maybe Mario 64 as well) as they were part of my early childhood. Innovative as any Mario game, the lack of powerups may have brung my interest down a bit, let alone the score down one. 9/10
    Great game, but it could be better.

    This game is a phenomenal. Everything is amazing. The character/map style, level design, story line, game mechanics. Its all perfect. This is actually the first Mario game that I was able to finish. If feels like Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 3D World had a child (while that doesn't sound that good, its 3:02am so cut me some slack). Overall good game, would recommend.

    As a game, Odyssey is beautiful, creative and most importantly, fun. I can say I will struggle to ever be as enthralled in a Mario game as much as I have with Odyssey.

    If you like platforming then this game is for you. Nintendo struck gold again on this one and dispute the short main story there are several hours more of completionist and endgame content. Honestly if you have a switch and have not played this game, I don’t know what you’re waiting for.

    2017 was an amazing year for video games, and games like these are exactly why. Super Mario Odyssey is an absolute masterpiece gameplay-wise. Mario moves so fluidly and it's just fun on a bun to toy around with him sometimes. The worlds are absolutely genius. They're full of charm, have amazing music, and just deliver good vibes. The best thing about this game is the incentive for2017 was an amazing year for video games, and games like these are exactly why. Super Mario Odyssey is an absolute masterpiece gameplay-wise.     Really excellent, lighthearted fun. That a game like this has two-player couch coop just puts it over the top. I got all the power moons and don’t regret it a bit—it has the feel, look, and flavor that a restful, simple, silly game should have.

    One of my favorite games. I just wish the story was longer than it was. I didn't try playing for the extra moons, but I probably should. Controls are smooth, progression is nice, some parts were challenging.

    DUDE, this game is a master pice, in this game throws back to sunshine, 64 and 64 ds. Its my favorite game of all time. SPOILER ALERT: This game story is good, it reminds me of Super Paper Mario because Bowser wants to be married witch bowser.

    El mejor Mario hasta la fecha, y eso es mucho decir.
    Si te van las plataformas este juego es una maravilla (y mira que yo soy mas de plataformas 2D).
    Gran variedad de niveles y de cosas que se pueden hacer aunque bastante sencillo modo historia. pero que su gran jugabilidad y variedad permite regujarlo multiples veces.

    An all around amazing Mario game with an amazing soundtrack , over 900 moons for you to collect (999 total) , beautiful kingdoms, amazing controls , it basically takes almost all good elements from the past games and mixes them up in a creative and entertaining way , a must buy for Mario fans

    Certainly one of Mario's best 3D games, but I think it could be better. The soundtrack is very good, the gameplay too, but I think the only defect is the clothing system. I think if it had power-ups like Mario Galaxy it would be more interesting, and the game becomes a little repetitive at the end. However, it diminishes very little in its legacy.

    Gameplay is so challenging, rewarding and relaxing at the same time that it's just unthinkable... The attention to details is amazing. Definitely best mario game ever.

    This is..... AMAZING. Cappy adds so much utility to Mario and the levels are so memorable! the least memorable for me was only Lost Kingdom but even then! that kingdom had its moments! Would recommend if you're a fan of platformers and Mario although maybe not for switch lite users since it does push motion controls a tad bit too much but still, it is still great with any switch just maybeThis is.....     An incredible game you will have a hard time putting down until you beat it. The day i beat the game, I played it for 4-5 hours straight until the end credits. The credits aren't the definitive end however, there are hundreds upon hundreds more moons you can collect after that, or you can even take a look at the large speed-running community for this game.     The game was great. The open worlds were nice and good to have. The controls were tight. But I'm not a fan of motion controls. Mario also has fewer movement options and is less agile then he was in Galaxy and Sunshine. It also needs a hard mode or something, it was too easy.

    l'histoire est sommaire mais ce laisse suivre sans problème avec ce combat final que j'ai trouvé très bon.
    un bémol en plus du end game mais qui est lié, c'est le remplissage via les lunes qu'on doit trouvé dans les différents mondes et qui pour ma part m'a très vite saoulé,.

    Ce Super Mario Odyssey reste sur cette génération de console le meilleur jeux de plate forme et je ne peux que le conseillais pour ceux qui veulent prendre un plaisir immédiat sur un jeu qui de plus est assez généreux dans ce qu'il propose    … Expand

B das man Cappy werfen kann nochmal auf Cappy springen kann Gegner Capern kann und und und auch schön finde ich das man mit der Odyssey in die Verschiedensten Welten mit den unterschiedlichsten Themen fliegen kann und diese komplett frei Erdkunde kann somit ist es quasi OPEN World jedoch ist jede Welt ein wenig begrenzt und wenn man runterfällt oder irgendwie anders stirbt werden automatisch zehn Münzen abgezogen. Auch schön finde ich die Enden mit Bowser und die vielen Glitches und Hacks. Außerdem gibt es viele verschiedee Varianten um Münzen zu Farmen wobei Luigi's Ballon Jagd die schnellste Variante ist.… Expand

I felt it was way too easy and uninteresting (there are so many moons and some you basically just have to ground pound the right spot on the ground and wow you get a moon). It was such a blast exploring all the amazingly designed open worlds and collecting as many moons as I could, not matter how easy they were to get. And don't get me wrong, there are plenty of insanely hard levels that will satisfy even the best gamers (Long Journey's end and Breakdown road). God I love this game, If you are going to play it, remember it's supposed to be more of an exploration game that has plenty of super fun and hard platforming levels. Must buy.… Expand

    I've never played such a fun game in my life.
    No matter how much fun a game is, you'll get tired of it once or twice, but this Super Mario Odyssey never gets tired of it even if you 100 times. Of course, I don't get tired of Zelda's legends hundreds of times. That's the advantage of the Nintendo switch.

    Just a joy. This is as good as 3D platformers gets for me, I think. I played through it in bits and pieces between other games that demanded a greater commitment of my time (e.g. BOTW).

    This has is "THE MODERN PLATFORMER" game. If it would be the single reason to buy Nintendo Switch, it's still would pay off and be worth it. Absolutely brilliant. Mario's story is fun, the cap as sidekick is magnificent and the gameplay is soo good.

    This game is such a joy. The team at Nintendo continues to amaze in terms of the creativity. Amazing level design and variety. Amazing visuals. And it came out in the first year of the Switch's life cycle which is insane.

The music is incredible, making you feel like a superstar! I would say my problem with the game is with the boss fights, they are usually very bland and forgettable (except for 2.) I would say my problem with the game is with the boss fights, they are usually very bland and forgettable (except for 2.) And a couple of the moons aren't very hidden in good places.     Masterfully crafted. The mechanics and controls are the most satisfying I've ever used, and the most fun. It has so much potential in what you can do gameplay wise. That's not even mentioning the very likeable and unique characters you encounter throughout the game, breaking the relative monotony of some other Mario games.

Playing with a buddy as "cappy" is also brilliant fun and the levels are big enough with plenty to explore and do.

    As someone who grew up playing Super Mario 64 and then having only played bits of the other Mario games (besides the old school ones) I found this game to be actually pretty amazing. We all know that the creators of these games always knock it out of the park with it's creativity and grand scale but I truly believe they went beyond what most games are even capable of making. From the beautiful landscape to the hyper-realistic textures of the characters, this game is a treat to your eyes.

    And then, in my opinion, the best part of the game, the controls. The sharp and fluent controls of Mario are strengthed by his latest companion. Cappy. Thanks to this hat with an M on it that is controlled by a living ghost also in the shape of a hat (Never thought I'd have to type that) You feel in control at all times. It helps you maneuver and re-position yourself in a way that never makes death feel unfair or something. If you die in this game, You know you screwed up. And because you can also jump on Cappy, It makes previously impossible jumps now a piece of cake.

    One of the most creative aspects of This absolute masterpiece is the capturing aspect. With the help of Cappy, You can capture and control other creatures. I can't describe how fun that is. Like come on, You can be a FREAKIN T-REX.

    In conclusion, You HAVE TO play Mario Oddysey. Even if you don't like platformers, you still should. And even if you don't have a switch, you should still buy it. Yes, this game is SO good you should buy a whole new console to play it. I'm sticking with that.    … Expand

    Un juegazo, renueva la saga y es extremadamente divertido, ademas, aunque la historia principal sea fácil, cuenta con distintos niveles de dificultad escondidos, siendo fácil completar la historia, medio completar las secundarias y difícil conseguir las 999 lunas.
    Una experiencia increíble y un must have.

    This was my first mario game, but by the end of it I felt like I'd always known mario. The nostalgia trip in New donk city is amazing! The game's difficulty is also really well balanced, there are a lot of easy moons for beginners, but if you want a challenge, some of the moond and levels are infuriatingly challenging. Incredible replayability.

    Easily the best 3D jump‘n run which was ever made. And who could made this better than Nintendo the maker of the awesome Mario 64 before 2 decades. The gameplay is perfectly done on a level on which just a handful of games has ever claimed it. All in all this makes this game to the best available for the Switch today.

The gameplay i'ts excellent, and its very imppressive to see how a 35 years old franchise is still fresh and has new ideas for new games.     I enjoy open world collectathon games and oh boy did I enjoy mario odyssey. Overall top tier 3D Mario game. Doesn’t really have that much replay value after collecting everything except if you like to speed run games.

    My boy Mario is back at it again. So much fun and nostalgic feels all up in there folks. The gameplay and music is very well done. The story is classic and iconic with some twists here and there you may not expect. I love it and would recommend to Mario fans and just people who love games! Stay safe out there.

    The best Mario game ever made. It takes the tried and tested formula and adds the small twist of being able to capture enemies which gives the game this whole new fresh feeling. In the past few years it’s the only game I have wanted to 100% complete to the maximum.

    Gameplay is the best in the 3D Mario Series. Has all the moves from 64 and sunshine and more. Cappy is an amazing partner as well as tool to access areas, capturing enemies and using them is addicting and never gets old. The world design is also the best in the Mario series with challenges and lovely sights to see and explore and do parkour.

Loved exploring the Mushroom Kingdom, loved finding every purple coin in amazingly designed New Donk City, loved wandering around Shiveria Town, loved beating the bosses, loved every single opportunity to get another moon and loved bumping into Captain Toad every so often. I LOVED    Personally 9/10, professionally 10/10, and I dare not present that score differently.

I LOVED climbing up the skyscraper to a music festival, that section alone made the game for me.
    I had some trouble staying focused on this game so I didn't "binge-play" it, after every session feeling like I'm probably not gonna play it ever again but then, every once in a while I just couldn't shake the feeling that I want to play more of it just because of how fun it looks, so I always came back for a few hours and loved every second of it.
    On a more personal note: I wish they had given more incentives to chase after all those moons, since, sure, they were hidden in a lot of creative ways and just seeking them was fun, but I didn't feel encouraged enough to go after all of them because it felt like there was no real reward for that..    … Expand

    What a truly phenomenal game. It was so clear throughout the entire journey that so much love went into this game, and this was the first Mario game in a long time that really had me hooked the entire journey. I can not recommend this game enough and would highly recommend any Switch owner to buy this game ASAP!

Mario controls and plays exactly how you’d want, and cappy(your hat) opens up so many new possibilities. Some kingdoms don’t exactly feel like they could exist in the same world as the others, but they are all a blast to explore with the stars of the show being cascade kingdom, metro kingdom, and bowser’s kingdom. As far as gripes go, the base game feels a couple hours too short and a bit too easy, but that’s only because there is such an amazing, fun filled postgame, packed with more(and harder) content. This is some of the most fun I’ve had playing any game. Not only is it my favorite 3D platformer, it’s my favorite mario game.… Expand

    I never had the opportunity to play other 3D Mario games before, so I cant compare with other past games, but looking just to this game it was a amazing experience! Gameplay, exploration, soundtracks. Exploration was the best part, I never wanna rush any kingdom. And has such good details, really incredible game.

    While it was difficult to imagine how Nintendo could top previous 3D Mario adventures, Super Mario Odyssey is nigh-on perfect in almost every way. With the help of Cappy, Mario has never been as fun to control, reaching new heights and, in the hands of a skilled player, accomplishing impossible skips. You need only pick up a controller to see why this is the best modern Mario game ever.

    The best entry to the best platforming series is so ridiculously huge it’s like a theme park made of theme parks. It’s a wonderful tribute to Super Mario 64, but it’s not a lazy homage.
