Jul 18, 2020A masterpiece. True innovation, a fresh air to the saga paper mario. Soundtrack is absolute amazing with a lot catchy tunes of diferent genres, new combat style is so much fun and original, graphics are incredible beautiful and the best part its the dialogues, full of humor, you will laugh a lot!

Jul 18, 2020Good soundtrack and thats it. Terrible Story. No partners. No EXP. Bad gameplay, and no creativity. Not even that funny.

Jul 18, 2020Buen juego.

Jul 18, 2020This is not a paper Mario game, my memories of paper Mario started with the thousand year door and that game made me fall in love with paper Mario, this game is nothing like the older games. Oragami king barley qualifies as an RPG

Jul 18, 2020After several hours in of gameplay, I just gotta be honest— This game gets a resounding ‘meh’.
Main complaint: If you make a battle system, give me a better reason to use it. -

Jul 18, 2020No badges, no exp, no unique characters or playable sidekicks, lame "puzzle" battles. +1 point for beautiful artwork and +1 for a beautiful soundtrack. Please let someone else design the battle system and quests. Perhaps team up with square enix again?

Jul 18, 2020The best Paper Mario till now. Perfect music, colorful and nice story. Game play is also amazing. I can't understand why peopledont like any change with the game play! how can a game keep the same game play after about 20 years!!! if you dont like any change, play first Paper Mario only. Otherwise this game is amazing.

Jul 18, 2020This video game is pure art, the art style and level design are pure magic. Another gem to complement the Switch lineup which has been a bit scarce lately.

Ninty Fresh MagazineDec 21, 2020The Origami King is a game greater than the sum of its parts. It reaffirms Nintendo’s status as king of innovation, even if the folds don’t quite align. [Issue #2, p.66]
-
Dec 16, 2020Paper Mario: The Origami King arrives on Nintendo Switch with very high quality graphics, a pleasant soundtrack and a plot full of very good humor, typical of the Paper Mario series. Among countless places to visit, bosses to win, and puzzles to solve, the game can be considered one of the best in the franchise.

Oct 29, 2020Paper Mario deserves better. The prestige of a Final Fantasy veteran appropriating his magic onto a handicraft world deserves better. The unforgettable wit and lovable cast expanding Mario lore deserves better. And we know that Intelligent Systems can do better than committing themselves to a misguided identity crisis.
