    El juego es excelente. Tiene un diseño de niveles muy bueno y el control de Samus es fluido y gratificante. Es el Metroid más desafiante y a la vez el más adictivo. A nivel artístico me gusta mucho y se ve de lujo. Es muy inmersivo además de tener un framerate muy estable. Nintendo y Mercury Steam han hecho un grandísimo trabajo. Es un digno sucesor del legendario Super Metroid.

    For someone who never payed Metroid before the map is super confusing and the arm canon aim is terrible. The control are also confusing. This game is more for hardcore Metroid fans

    Lovely game, I was a little disappointed at the very beginning because of the emmi chasing me around gets old really fast. However, the game just went up high. All the Samus abilities, enviroment, enemies, background music mix up together in a great game overall. Very enjoyable. Awesome game.

Se siente la atmósfera, la fluidez de la jugabilidad y la personalidad que Samus tiene en esta entrega es fenomenal, nostalgia y el regreso de varias batallas como la de Kraid son escalofriantes y me llenan de nostalgia. La mecánica que ofrecen las zonas E.M.M.I literalmente son de tensión y ansiedad, por lo que se trata la mayor parte del título, amo este juegazo. Perfección 10.… Expand

    Como amante de los juegos de PlayStation debo decir que este juego es una jodida obra de arte, la ambientación y la música cuando te siguen los EMMI es espectacular, llevo 6 horas de juego, pero con esto lo pongo en el Olimpo junto a juegos como Bloodborne, Persona 5, Zelda BOTW y Forza Horizon 4. Enhorabuena!

    Action-packed gameplay, astounding visuals, fun mechanics, hard bosses, big areas and a cool interesting story make this game an instant favorite in Metroidvanias. Metroid Dread is fun to control and explore from beginning to end, it is a solid Metroid game that was worth the wait.

    Game is a masterpiece in the metroidvania genre. Absolutely perfect! Great combat, fun puzzles, difficult bosses and Samus feels the most fluid she’s ever felt. Just an amazing game through and through.

    I was really looking forward to this game. I’m a big fan. But sadly I just don’t love it. The basic game is great, but to me personally the emmi chases were so annoying and random, that I lost all enjoyment.

    Great game all around. Visuals, Frame rate and sound. Only complaint is that the controls are hard to get used to. Definitely up there with BOTW and some of the other greats specifically made for the the Switch.

    So, im spent 2 hours in this game and i think it is a great game as someone who is a fan of the Series. For a switch Game the Graphics are looking really good and it performs really well on mostly 60 FPS, minus the Cutscenes. The Controls were a bit Confusing at the Beginning and i think it plays a bit better with a Pro Controller, but its far away from unplayable, I think its definitleySo, im spent 2 hours in this game and i think it is a great game as someone who is a fan of the Series. For a switch Game the Graphics are looking really good and it performs really well on mostly 60 FPS, minus the Cutscenes.     Me quedo sin palabras ante el regreso de mi caza recompensas favorita, Samus Aran. Excelente trabajo que han realizado Nintendo y Mercury Steam. Los movimientos de Samus son muy fluidos, controles adecuados. Desde el comienzo del juego te atrapa por la inmersión que te da y esto es muy importante, no deja de ser un Metroid. En muchos de los casos debes estar atento de como avanzar y eso esMe quedo sin palabras ante el regreso de mi caza recompensas favorita, Samus Aran. Excelente trabajo que han realizado Nintendo y Mercury Steam. Los movimientos de Samus son muy fluidos, controles adecuados. Desde el comienzo del juego te atrapa por la inmersión que te da y esto es muy importante, no deja de ser un Metroid. This is what a game feels like when given to the right people to make it. I absolutely adore how cinematic it is and the voice acting and everything just makes you feel like a total badass.     Seré sincero. Solo he jugado dos juegos de la saga Metroid.
    A saber, Super Metroid, y Metroid Fusion.
    Ambos me encantaron, por lo que implica el género. Por la ambientación. Por la tensión, y la inmersión. Y claro, el backtracking. Por ello, puedo decir que esta entrega superó con creces mis expectativas... Es el juego que esperaba y mas, y en mi humilde opinión, esta a la altura de sus    Seré sincero.     Desde el primer momento que mueves a Samus sabrás que jugarlo será genial. Es un juego difícil , pero con cada boss superado, secreto descubierto, camino encontrado y retó superado te recompensa el esfuerzo. Y si hay un modos de dificultad. Difícil y Muy difícil, lol. Este juego me recordó todos los juegos anteriores, pero con mecánicas pulidas al extremo. Totalmente recomendable!!

    A worthy ending for the Metroid Arc! Nearly perfect Balance between oldschool Metroid and New mechanics like the melee counter. Visuals are very good and stick together with the atmosphere. EMMI encounter are the only thing in this game what could **** people up but for me it's fun. Trial & Error is not automatically bad and for All crying people out there here my advice: git gud

    Me encanta el juego y su profundidad, la atmósfera está conseguida como los títulos anteriores y los paisajes de fondos son muy animado llegando al punto de creer que se acercan los bichos.

    El brillo de la armadura es excelente y la trama de la historia de sobrevivir me gusta.

    Metroid Dread is a truly epic return for Samus Aran. After 19 years we finally have a fresh new game to sink out teeth into. I have only ever finished 4 Metroid games and those being Metroid on the NES, Fusion, Zero mission and Samus Returns. So I can say I'm a huge fan of the series.

    Metroid Dread is definitely one of the hardest Metroid games in the series and sometimes it left me    Metroid Dread is a truly epic return for Samus Aran. After 19 years we finally have a fresh new game to sink out teeth into. I have only ever finished 4 Metroid games and those being Metroid on the NES, Fusion, Zero mission and Samus Returns. So I can say I'm a huge fan of the series.

    Metroid Dread is definitely one of the hardest Metroid games in the series and sometimes it left me downright furious sometimes because of the constant deaths from the EMMI encounters. But once you actually get the arm cannon power to destroy an EMMI it is deeply satisfying. Once I killed my first EMMI I screamed at my TV in excitement. Something I haven't felt since playing Demon Souls on the PS3.

    Each area of Dread feels like a new path each and every time. It kept the overall game fresh all steps of the way and I never got bored going into each new area. It was genuinely fun to explore each and every area to find new secrets. I was a bit disappointed to see that the scan pulse from Samus Returns didnt make it into Dread but I feel that without the scan pulse it encourages the old "bomb the floor and shoot everything" approach at finding hidden breakable blocks just as we did in older Metroid titles.

    Another thing I should mention that this is the first Metroid game to run at 60 frames per second since Metroid: Other M on the Wii. And it is a sight to behold. The gameplay itself runs at a solid 60FPS at all times. But cutscenes are capped at 30FPS. Otherwise the games performance is rock solid in both portable and docked mode.

    My final thoughts are if you are old or new to the Metroid series you will enjoy this game either way, But newer fans might be a bit confused on the lore if they decide to play Dread first. Luckily the games initial opening cutscene catches you up from what happened in Fusion so you aren't completely left in the dark. It does a decent job at explaining the Metroid DNA fusion with Samus among other things. Just go out and buy it, this game had the same quality as other Nintendo titles and feels right at home in any collection.    … Expand

    Hace 8 años conocí Super Metroid. El juego que me haría conocer la saga, y desde entonces jugué el resto y espere pacientemente por una nueva entrega. La emoción que me ha hecho sentir este juego al tenerlo por fin en mis manos es indescriptible, no me imagino como se sentirán los fans más veteranos de la saga. El control y la respuesta del mismo, la movilidad y la fluidez, el sigiloHace 8 años conocí Super Metroid. El juego que me haría conocer la saga, y desde entonces jugué el resto y espere pacientemente por una nueva entrega. La emoción que me ha hecho sentir este juego al tenerlo por fin en mis manos es indescriptible, no me imagino como se sentirán los fans más veteranos de la saga. El control y la respuesta del mismo, la movilidad y la fluidez, el sigilo (quizá el único aspecto a mejorar, pero aun así, muy disfrutable). He llorado de la alegría con este juego, y no puedo hacer más que darle un 10 personalmente.     *Valoración técnica del juego*
    En cuanto a apartado técnico se refiere este Metroid es el mejor de la saga: la mejor movilidad; no solo de la saga sino del genero sin duda alguna, un brillante diseño de niveles con una muy buena interconexión, sensación de progreso bastante satisfactoria, variedad de habilidades y enemigos, por no hablar de su banda sonora, la cual cumple su objetivo,    *Valoración técnica del juego*
    En cuanto a apartado técnico se refiere este Metroid es el mejor de la saga: la mejor movilidad; no solo de la saga sino del genero sin duda alguna, un brillante diseño de niveles con una muy buena interconexión, sensación de progreso bastante satisfactoria, variedad de habilidades y enemigos, por no hablar de su banda sonora, la cual cumple su objetivo, aparte no hay que olvidar a los E.M.M.I., una de las nuevas implementaciones de Metroid Dread, la cual dota al juego de un mayor desafio, sigilo y tensión, aunque no solo esta nueva incorporación del juego lo convierte en un desafío, las batallas contra bosses son de las mejores de la saga, sets de movimiento y ataque variados, creando así enemigos tan desafiantes que posiblemente tengas que enfrentarte más de una vez para poder vencer.
    *Valoración historia*
    Una brillante secuela de Metroid Fusion, el halo de misticismo y letalidad del planeta ZDR combinada con la introducción de los nuevos personajes, dejan a Samus en un escalafón de poder bastante bajo, que durante la experiencia sube hasta equipararse, esto unido a la sangre fría digna de una cazarrecompensas como Samus, hace que argumentalmente este juego sea un acierto, todo esto sin contar como recuerda al legendario Super Metroid.

    Llegados aquí solo puedo concluir en que no es que sea el mejor metroid en 2D de todos los tiempos, si no que se le podría considerar uno de los mejores metroidvania de la decada (por supuesto al nivel de Hollow Night).    … Expand

    I had low hopes for this game and they were met - and even surpassed. Mercury Steam did a poor job, like basically every other game they've ever made. The least fun Metroid game I've played, although probably about on par with the Prime games (that were also worst in class for the Metroid series). The overuse of EMMIs became apparent by the second one, so I can only imagine how maddeningly awful they become by the final encounter. It's sad to see so many 9's and 10's for this not-even-mediocre game. Gaming is a hollow shell of what it once was and I weep for my hobby.… Expand

    While it's not a very ambitious game, and it doesn't run perfectly on the Switch, it's been a delight for me and many others. I've been lost a few times, but never hopelessly so; the game always keeps moving and keeps introducing new challenges and abilities; the bosses are imaginative and genuinely challenging; the cutscenes are short but always expressive and captivating; and everyWhile it's not a very ambitious game, and it doesn't run perfectly on the Switch, it's been a delight for me and many others. I've been lost a few times, but never hopelessly so; the game always keeps moving and keeps introducing new challenges and abilities; the bosses are imaginative and genuinely challenging; the cutscenes are short but always expressive and captivating; and every aspect of the game is at least competently made. This game deserves to be a massive hit and a bestseller, and that's coming from someone who has only played Super Metroid up to this point, and didn't like it.     Una obra maestra. Jugabilidad exquisita para el metroid más dinámico y fluido de todos. Posible candidato al goty, por méritos propios. Jugar este juego en la nueva switch oled es algo totalmente indescriptible. Sin duda, estás entregas de metroid en 2d deberían de quedarse en manos de Mercury Steam para siempre.

    Han sabido perfectamente captar la idea de cómo debe ser un juego 2D, como los de antaño, creando una sensación de nostalgia a la vez que de novedad, al haber sabido implantar novedades manteniendo esa sensación a “juego de los de antes”. Jugablemente se siente exquisito, con una movilidad y soltura envidiables, haciéndose frenético en su    Grandísimo juego de la mano de MercurySteam.

    Han sabido perfectamente captar la idea de cómo debe ser un juego 2D, como los de antaño, creando una sensación de nostalgia a la vez que de novedad, al haber sabido implantar novedades manteniendo esa sensación a “juego de los de antes”.

    Juego hecho con cariño, mantiene la esencia Metroid de las 4 entregas anteriores y al mismo tiempo se siente fresco. Pule lo existente y al mismo tiempo innova respecto a las mecánicas de juego.
    Supera con facilidad las expectativas de quien lo juegue.
    Compra obligada.

    This game is the perfected formula of metroid samus return, the graphics and sound levels are impressive. The story is simple as every metroid game, but for me, the goal of this game has always been the exploration and gameplay. thanks to the best spanish studio Mercurysteam and nintendo for rescuing this beautiful saga.

    Ya tocaba un juego en nintendo switch de temática más seria, y que mejor forma que hacerlo con Metroid Dread. Un juego que conserva las mecánicas de los primeros y a su vez con mejoras jugables y visuales. Se siente totalmente Metroid no ha perdido un ápice de su esencia.

    Un juego entretenido, con dificultad (pero sin exagerar) con una fluidez en los controles que sorprende mucho para los joycon, es una experiencia que se extrañaba, te hace pensar para resolver los puzzlez, tiene mucho contenido oculto. La reina del genero a vuelto por la puerta mas grande y es deagradecer lo bien que lo hizo el estudio de desarrollo, ojala hagan mas juego.

    i particularly like the very challenging, yet forgiving bosses in the game too. If I was to compare it to another game, I would say its a bit like Dark Souls, in how it appears stupidly hard and unfair at the beginning, yet becomes easy and fun when you memorise and prepare for certain attack patterns.

    And finally the story. The story is just brilliant, and really is a worthy conclusion to the storyline of the metroids and the x parasites. I am excited to see what Metroid 6 will hold with this new entry in the storyline.    … Expand

    As a metroid fan, this is all i could ever ask for, the movement and combat are pretty much perfect, the exposition doesn't get annoying, the bosses are stellar, the story specially in the ending sequence was really of my liking, and that ending sequence is just fantastic, very glad Nintendo didn't let down and i'm curious to know how this beauty of a franchise will live on. Only gripesAs a metroid fan, this is all i could ever ask for, the movement and combat are pretty much perfect, the exposition doesn't get annoying, the bosses are stellar, the story specially in the ending sequence was really of my liking, and that ending sequence is just fantastic, very glad Nintendo didn't let down and i'm curious to know how this beauty of a franchise will live on. Only gripes with the game is the now dated exploration system, which works fine but it can really get you lost at times and the fact that you sometimes get temporarily softlocked out of alternative paths, i don't mind these details, and i don't think many people do, but have a friend or guide at hand for when you really get stuck, otherwise it's straightforward enough to complete 100% blind. If you liked Super Metroid, Hollow Knight, or just like exploration and immersion in general, this game is for you.… Expand

This is a big issue for Nintendo. I say this because games like Hollow Knight cost 1/4 the price and offer 4 times the content.     I am loving this game so far.
    This is the second metroid game I have played so far, the first being super metroid, and all I could say is that this game is so good. The bosses are some of the best bosses I have encountered in any 2d game and the music is very good designed and changes a lot more then in super metroid or other metroid venia's.     The difficulty level is quite high, especially during boss fights. Yet it is not an unforgiving difficulty. You’ll be instantly spawned back to a near by area. The boss fights are the crown jewel of this game, alongside the stealth sections avoiding the emmi, they are what set apart this entry from its predecessors.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Even the best games cannot live up to 2 decades worth of hype, but as a long term fan who grew up with this series, MS and Nintendo jointly really managed to screw this one up in a big way.

    I'll get the compliments out of the way first, as they informed my score. The game obviously is as amazing as Metroid has ever looked, and it feels good to play for the most part at face value. The game is significantly quicker than previous games (much more on this later,) and MS clearly made a good-faith effort to address the "staccato" complaints about the way Samus Returns played. The game is also aided heavily by the higher quality Switch sticks over the 3DS slider, though it still leaves something to be desired. The boss design could be frequently dazzling (like, you know... when Nintendo wasn't going all out to spoil as much of it as possible in previews,) and the enemy variety is worlds apart from what was offered in SR. It runs at 60 FPS stable most of the time, which is a big deal (and utterly necessary--again, more on this later.) The few supporting characters there are in SR are also delightful and really sell the magic. There's even a conlang present for the worldbuilding nerds out there. The game also featured some really gorgeous, faithfully recreated splash arts from Fusion in the intro.

    Unfortunately, virtually nothing else about this met my expectations. It tragically seems that the creative minds behind Metroid are still haunted to this day about being deservedly raked over the coals over Other M, but they have utterly failed to understand what the correct way to address that is. What trifles of dialogue Samus has are utterly sterile and bland. Even her monologue in the intro is so artless that it reads like fanfiction. It's simple to a fault, has no flair for the dramatic whatsoever, and has utterly ham-fisted phrasing. It reads like a translator paraphrased it how they would in modern dialogue, and that no writer was involved whatsoever. There is really no reason for this, as monologues have been a staple since Super Metroid. Other than that, Samus speaks exactly once, and it is so bare bones "I'm the protag" simplistic it has no value whatsoever and might as well not be there. This is obviously in response to criticism towards Other M, while Nintendo seems to have collective amnesia about Metroid Fusion, where Samus was able to speak without it being a critical disaster.

    The plot of the game generally is an utter let down. The reveal hidden in Samus Returns' art gallery was absolutely jaw-dropping at the time, but all Nintendo has done with it is the most predictable outcome possible--and, of course, brazenly spoiling the character in question in the marketing. The game itself has no sense for execution here, either--these things are slapped around instantly as if they have no gravity whatsoever. Chozo in the flesh, no big deal, and certainly not unprecedented! What an absolute disaster. They even spoiled the only plot twist in the game in public interviews months prior to release, though it was not apparent at the time. I feel no need to recant it here.

    I'm not sure what this game thinks their target audience is, but I frequently felt like I requried reflexes of someone half my age to play this game. The game is utterly obsessed with split second, twitchy counters and is otherwise an absolute scion of rotten QTEs. This angered me nonstop, and seems to be a common source of frustration for most players from what I can asee. The game not only wants you to be unreasonably fast, but it does a poor job of communicating what it even wants from you in that .5 second window it has allotted for you to react in. I died over and over and over again to all of these bloody QTEs and they were utterly infuriating to the absolute end of the game, even towards what was meant to be a showy scripted sequence after the final boss. MS tried their best to clean up their parry mechanic, but they are clearly utterly unrepentant about it broadly, and i resent that it's been injected intro Metroid where it absolutely does not belong. This was the huge deal breaker for me. I hated what this game stood for more and more the further I got in it. Metroid is no longer about adventure and exploration, about being nerdy or rewarding your curiosity, but about being a boneheaded ritual of trial and error, and a contest to show off your incredible reaction time by pushing the X button every time you're prompted within fractions of a second, hundreds of times, over and over and over again. This isn't what makes a game fun. It isn't what makes one good at games. It feels like a game for teenage boys, by teenage boys in 2021.

    Lastly, the music in Dread is perfectly forgettable. It is TERRIBLE. The only tunes to speak of are the dead horse Super Metroid tracks you hear in every last game. Every other track is a samey slog of instrumentation that is obsessed with being ambient, and literally none of them have melody.    … Expand

    Metroid Dread is a game of the year contender, no question. With a engaging story, addicting gameplay, and an experience that will really test your skill, Dread is newcomer friendly while also being tough as nails like it's pervious titles like Super Metroid.

    I couldn't rate it higher enough. Metroid Dread is an instant classic and a must buy for any Switch owner. Metroid is back.

Now with SO MANY games like it out, Dread comes at a time when Metroid games are just the funny word at the beginning of the genre name. Samus Returns on the 3DS a few years back was an ok return to form for the 2D games, but it was still just remake. Now the first true new 2D Metroid game has come out and it does alot of things right but also fails to stick the landing for me.
    What the game gets very right is the atmosphere and the tone set by the game. What little story is here is done well, even with the few voice over lines sprinkled in throughout the game but they are very few and far between. I would say, however, that you really need to at least have a general grasp of the overall storyline to understand some of the stills that show up sometimes because the game does nothing to explain anything that's happened in the past, outside of a rushed opening movie. It also really does a great job of making Samus a supreme badass in cut scenes and how she kills bosses. I liked how they portrayed her here, even though she literally only says 1 line in the game. The boss encounters are fun, but I was really hoping to see certain staples of the franchise return in some way or another that just arent present here at all. No spoilers but the one returning boss was at best 3rd on the list of bosses I wanted to see again. Although the final boss was actually pretty fun, if brutally hard at first.
    However the game falls behind several other side scrolling games in the genre that Metroid popularized over the years. The controls are very hit or miss for me. Certain moves just arent very responsive, like the Screw Attack and the Speed Booster, especially when you're required to hit them with pixel perfect accuracy to get some of the hardest power ups in the game. Also the game seems almost allergic to indicating to you where you need to go next in the story. And the ships AI that's supposed to do that for you is basically no help at all throughout the whole game. I spent 12 hours getting 100% on my first run through and about a 1/4th of that was me being lost trying to find either the path forward or an out of the way pickup that did nothing to help my overall battle prowess.
    At the end of the day, Dread is a very good Metroidvania game that does alot of things well and, most likely, ends the main Metroid storyline on a high note. However there are better games in the genre now that would be far more deserving of your attention, if you've not played them. And its hard to argue that this game is even better then Super Metroid. Dread has its merits but it does feel like Samus and her crew have been passed by other games in the genre that bares its name.    … Expand

    The dread in Metroid games is supposed to be the feeling of walking through the totally unknown, not forced encounters and jump scares..

    Making Metroid explainable as "A space thriller like Alien!" instead of needing to play it to understand it, is a bad move, is detrimental to the creativity of the video games industry, and is an insult to science fiction because it dumbs down a vibrant genre into the cliches that Nintendo thinks casuals will recognize.

    I think the game is a masterpiece, but being locked in a room with someone in a video game is as bad as QTEs. It removes your agency in the world, deletes your ability to do anything according to your own choices, and reduces a masterpiece to a bunch of stupid twitch reflexes. And worst of all, they're LAZY forced encounters. A robot with smooth curved white armor like Portal, that chases you while making friendly high-pitched chirping noises (like the turrets in Portal)? Come on, that rubbish is just to drum up word-of-mouth sales.

    Considering how good the rest of the game's design is, I think there was corporate meddling involved, the kind where people who are afraid of losing profits tell the designers what needs to be in the game, instead of just letting the designers do what they want. No designer this talented would include all of these hamfisted cliches and badly-done references, unless they were forced to.

    I feel like a lot of this game was optimized so that as many 10 year old boys as possible would shout "COOL!" as they played, and it's a pity because it could have been 100% original and special.

    Instead we have to deal with 50% good and 50% pandering. I hate that.

    Let me say it clearly: Somebody up top thought that this game wouldn't sell on its own merits, so they added a whole bunch of junk in hopes that it would get less intelligent people excited. It really makes the game feel like a hodgepodge chaotic mess.

    P. S. Even if you disagree with my review in general, I think almost everyone can agree that some of the soundtrack is weak. Not a small "that's not perfect and I wanted it to be perfect!" type of weak, it sounds like stuff a first-year music student would make. The jingle when you get a new item is overly fruity and flowery instead of punchy and orchestral, some of the BGM is hyperactive and annoying as it prances around the notes. All of the music tracks could inspire awe but instead a lot of them make it feel like a $20 budget game. For every good piece of music there's one so horrible that it literally makes it difficult to keep playing without feeling a little annoyed.    … Expand

    This is the best 2D Metroid I have every played. If you liked Samus returns you will love this one. Movement is amazing and there is a lot of puzzles to solve that require you to use it.
    E.M.M.I always bring something fun and interesting as they all have a certain gimmick you need to understand and play around.
    But where this game truly shines is the Boss battles god they are fun,    This is the best 2D Metroid I have every played. If you liked Samus returns you will love this one. Movement is amazing and there is a lot of puzzles to solve that require you to use it.
    E.M.M.I always bring something fun and interesting as they all have a certain gimmick you need to understand and play around.
    But where this game truly shines is the Boss battles god they are fun, challenging and the cinematic sequences are just beautiful and badass.

    Playing this game really lets you feel and see what type of badass Samus Aran really is.    … Expand

    Amazing game from start to finish. The controls and combat are blissful. I really appreciate they allowed the game to be challenging, but never cheap. Definitely my current GotY.

    Phenomenal Metroid game. Very few flaws. High difficulty, but fair. Tight controls. Good music. Epic engaging boss battles. Great visuals and atmosphere. This is why the genre is called METROIDvania. Better than Super Metroid? It's a tough call, but I'm leaning towards yes. Yes, really.

    I can’t believe I’m finally playing a new metroid game! The controls and movement are actually really fun. After you get used to the movement style and can start jumping and maneuvering quickly it becomes a lot more fun.

    Its just bonza! Wow they really made a special game here. Nostalgia is a powerful thing but truly this is on par or better than Super Metroid. The great quality of life improvements and balance of difficulty is just all the right ingredients. Watch out Metroidvania games, the Queen is back!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Metroid Dread sin duda alguna es una de las maravillas del año de Nintendo realizadas por el estudio español Mercury Steam que han creado un juego lleno de valor y vida.

    Jugabilidad: Siendo cortos, Metroid Dread es el mejor Metroide jugable hasta la fecha, el control de Samus es super preciso, con un acción muy dinámica que enriquece muchísimo más el gameplay gracias a una serie de power ups pero esta vez a lo Metroid que iremos recogiendo a lo largo de la aventura los cuales usaremos en mayor o mentor medida , aún así muchos forman un gran equilibrio.

    Sonido: A nivel sonoro la BSO de Dread es bestial, al nivel de las mejores de la saga, provocando una sensacion ambiental en las diversas zonas del planeta ZDR, así como tensión y miedo en las zonas E.M.M.I y epicidad ante los bosses, los cuales ya podemos considerar como de los más difíciles, divertidos y exigentes de toda la saga.

    After almost 20 years we finally have a sequel to the 2D series of Metroid games! Considering that, Dread does a great job of combining the new modern combat with the old elements of research and advancement, and it doesn't hurt that we have some of the best boss fights in the series. A true gem and a must have for all Switch gamers.

    Taking up the torch of a series interrupted nineteen years ago is never an easy task, but the MercurySteam studio is doing it with honors! The developers have chosen the path of security while perfectly respecting the spirit of the previous episodes, to the detriment of true modernity.
