Zelda comparisons.... No just no! It does not look nor feel like zelda in any way imaginable... really come on.
This game isn't terrible and its ok for the $6.50 AUD price tag but gee its pretty thin even for six bucks. EDIT: I actually now feel more like i wasted my 6 bucks.
OMG it is not worth the 9 nintendolife gave it those guys are getting so biased these days it is shameful. 4

OMG it is not worth the 9 nintendolife gave it those guys are getting so biased these days it is shameful. 4 levels, tedious gameplay, bad controls, I died because of not being able to successfully move in a straight line and stand on a tile a few times... bad game design is just bad.
Its not a total waste of money because it seemed interesting as an action rpg if it actually was an action rpg, its really just an action hack n slash puzzler imo. And it isn't bad at that, nice music, art is ok, could have been a good action rpg, but it simply is not.

The combat and puzzles are very simple and repetitive which making a average player to beat this game in 1 hr.Although there are 3 character to choose from, they are not so different which making replay value near zero.
Overall a average game seriously lacking content to justify the price.

Kamiko's quaint, pick-up-and-play nature makes it a fantastic fit on Nintendo's versatile console.

    If you're looking for a traditional top-down action/puzzler to play in short bursts, Kamiko won't disappoint. [Issue #28 – July/August 2017, p. 22]

Kamiko is an accessible and well-designed experience that will put its players frantically trying new tactics in order to finish the game as quickly as possible. This might not sound very groundbreaking but Kamiko certainly provides incentives to its players to try to complete it in a shorter time and its challenging nature means that those who pick it up will have something they can spend some fun hours with.
