    FIFA 23 on Switch is a prime example of minimal effort for maximum profit. If you've bought the Nintendo version of FIFA at any point in the past five years, there's very little reason to buy it again now.

    This is the fifth time Switch owners have been asked to pay at least $40 for little more than updated kits and rosters, and the fifth time we urge you not to reward such disrespect with your hard-earned money. FIFA 23 still plays a good game of football but so did all the other identical ones, so if you absolutely must have a football game on Switch, track down a cheap copy of FIFA 19-22.

    FIFA is amazing. The graphics and gameplay are great. The ability to play Fife on the tube or bus is extra. EA you are great.

    EA should just make a cloud version of this game at this point. Literally, this is just FIFA 18 5.0 for the Switch.     In other words: it's FIFA 17 7.0. Utterly disgraceful.

    The only positive I can see is that this is the last EA Sports FIFA title for the Switch. Good, now the Switch and its playerbase can be put out of their misery. Good riddance. I'll post another review when EA puts out a new game.    … Expand
