    FIFA 23 on Switch is a cash-grab. FIFA 23: Legacy Edition is the same as FIFA 22: Legacy Edition, which is the same as FIFA 21: Legacy Edition, which is the same as FIFA 20: Legacy Edition, which is the same as FIFA 19 on Switch, which is the same as FIFA 18 on switch, which a slightly souped up version of FIFA 17 on the Xbox 360 and PS3, and career mode is not far off FIFA 14 on the 360FIFA 23 on Switch is a cash-grab. FIFA 23: Legacy Edition is the same as FIFA 22: Legacy Edition, which is the same as FIFA 21: Legacy Edition, which is the same as FIFA 20: Legacy Edition, which is the same as FIFA 19 on Switch, which is the same as FIFA 18 on switch, which a slightly souped up version of FIFA 17 on the Xbox 360 and PS3, and career mode is not far off FIFA 14 on the 360 and PS3. Confused? **FIFA 23 is pretty much a 9 year old game**. Hell, this game still uses EA’s Ignite Engine from 9 years ago, introduced for FIFA 14. This is bang out of order. I'll copy and paste this review every year, EA does this.

    The switch is capable of running amazing and big games like Doom, The Witcher 3, Nier Automata, No Man’s Sky, Persona 5 Royal, etc. So there is no excuse for the product that EA has released for the past 5 years in this console. It’s literally just a re-skin of FIFA 18 with a roster update.     It is- once again since several years - the same old s*it and cash-crab again, ripping of switch users for what is a spiced up version of Fifa 17 with updated teams. For - once again -    I start with a little quote from the e-shop:

    The question is if FIFA should be on the Switch to begin with. Legacy Edition should not fit for a Current Gen console like the Switch and Nintendo has to do something.

    FIFA is amazing. The graphics and gameplay are great. The ability to play Fife on the tube or bus is extra. EA you are great.

    In other words: it's FIFA 17 7.0. Utterly disgraceful. The only positive I can see is that this is the last EA Sports FIFA title for the Switch. Good, now the Switch and its playerbase can be put out of their misery.     EA should just make a cloud version of this game at this point. Literally, this is just FIFA 18 5.0 for the Switch. Only exceptions are kits, teams, licenses, transfers, women's football and possibly, the 2022 World Cup. Other than that, this game is trash.

    Lots of lag and players run as if they are drunk..... Such a stupid game with a lot of micro transactions..

    Ce jeu est bien mais une arnaque. Pas assez de nouveautés appart : Maillots,stades mis a jours et la coupe du monde des filles. Donc rien de plus. Juste un DLC meme pas bon de FIFA 18.

    This is the fifth time Switch owners have been asked to pay at least $40 for little more than updated kits and rosters, and the fifth time we urge you not to reward such disrespect with your hard-earned money. FIFA 23 still plays a good game of football but so did all the other identical ones, so if you absolutely must have a football game on Switch, track down a cheap copy of FIFA 19-22.

    FIFA 23 on Switch is a prime example of minimal effort for maximum profit. If you've bought the Nintendo version of FIFA at any point in the past five years, there's very little reason to buy it again now.
