    Please dont listen to the negitive reviews as you'll find most of them are written by sony fanboys that are unhappy that astral chain is only on the switch. Its a pathetic attack by toxic sony fanboys! And metacritic should stomp it out! Game is simple fantastic, you should definitely buy it!

    It’s amazing. Platinum at its beat. People rating it poorly are salty people who haven’t even played the game and are annoyed it’s a switch exclusive, which is silly because that has nothing to do with how good or bad the game is.

    The best Platinum Games game with NieR Automata. Better than Bayonetta, with a much more interesting story and gameplay. Very good graphics and great soundtrack. One of the best games for Switch.

    I was skeptical because of the graphics on youtube. But after playing first hand, i was blown away. So cinematic, feels like your playing a japanese anime, everything just works and is amazing. Didn't hit me hard like Nier automata did but it is close. Awesome game. Highly recommend.

    I can give nothing but the max rating to this game. Maybe it tooks a little longer to learn the major mechanics if you are not used to Platinum style but once you get used to that you won't never turn off the Switch. Fast and "beautiful to see" combat system, the mysterious "detective" moments and a very interesting plot are the ingredients of this recipe. I did not feel like this sinceI can give nothing but the max rating to this game.     Very anime-esque feel to the game, this format makes it quite refreshing from the other typical AAA's out there, combat can feel a bit slow at times, the game does feel like it's an experiment from Platinum so it's not going to be to everyones tastes but if you have an open mind, you may find it a surprise.
    To me I thought it was pretty impressive.

    I usually never rate games on Metacritic or write a review, but I give Astra Chain 10/10 points just to compensate for the idiots who review-bombing the game.

    Nevertheless, I have played the game currently 8 hours and it is really a lot of fun, also the resolution of the game in both docked-mode and undocked-mode looks very good, I've experienced framedrops only very few (while fights    I usually never rate games on Metacritic or write a review, but I give Astra Chain 10/10 points just to compensate for the idiots who review-bombing the game.

    le jeu ne fonctionne pas bien, les phases d'action sont sympas mais elles ont des problèmes:
    - trop de frénésie de combat
    - la caméra ne vous fait rien comprendre - Après quelques heures, vous devenez si fort que vous n'avez plus besoin de vous enchaîner ni de tactique, c'est très facile. le reste offre de bonnes choses mais aussi des choses laides, de nombreuses quêtes de    le jeu ne fonctionne pas bien, les phases d'action sont sympas mais elles ont des problèmes:

    This is truly a great game, coming out of a NieR Automata fan. The story manages to be interesting, the investigation phases are not too long or forced. Combat is really fun and inspired !

    Tip : if you liked NA’s control scheme, switch to the control pattern C in Astral Chain

    Amazing ost, smooth gameplay with lots of variety, interesting setting and story, and looks really stylish and nice. Worth it just like every other Platinum game

    P.S: the people review bombing this are children, the game is well worth the $60 and they just have nothing better to do

Os personagens são carismáticos e memoráveis, a jogabilidade é "padrão Platinum", ou seja, excelente (destaque para as animações de movimentação do protagonista). Os gráficos claramente não levam o console ao seu limite (comum em jogos hack 'n slash), mas ainda assim são muito bonitos e    ANÁLISE PONTUAL:

Os personagens são carismáticos e memoráveis, a jogabilidade é "padrão Platinum", ou seja, excelente (destaque para as animações de movimentação do protagonista). Os gráficos claramente não levam o console ao seu limite (comum em jogos hack 'n slash), mas ainda assim são muito bonitos e bem desenhados; por todos os cenários há muitos detalhes interessantes e que conseguem te fazer imergir ainda mais naquele mundo. No entanto, existem algumas inconsistências visuais, mas que não chegam a incomodar. A trilha sonora é bacana, mas a Platinum já fez bem melhor em NieR. Gostaria que o foco na exploração fosse um pouco maior, mas aí já é pessoal. Enfim, os maiores problemas são a câmera, a qual pode não obedecer em lutas mais fechadas, e algumas quedas de frame em batalhas contra inimigos maiores. A Platinum já está trabalhando em melhorias e já lançou seu primeiro update. No mais, o jogo é excelente.

    If you are expecting Bayonetta or Nier, this ain't it. The game really wants you to play the role of a cop, so there is a lot of side quest and detective work. You will probably spend 50% of the time battling and 50% of the time doing quest. However, this doesn't mean the game is bad. The combat system is really fun and unique; it may feel clunky if you don't get the combat system atIf you are expecting Bayonetta or Nier, this ain't it. The game really wants you to play the role of a cop, so there is a lot of side quest and detective work. You will probably spend 50% of the time battling and 50% of the time doing quest. However, this doesn't mean the game is bad. The combat system is really fun and unique; it may feel clunky if you don't get the combat system at first, but once you start getting into the grove, you can do some pretty awesome things. I hope they further refine the combat in future installments. Furthermore, the quest can be really fun. Highly recommend this game. It deserves an 8.6 out of 10 if i'm honest, but, i'm giving it a 10 to offset the review bombing trolls.… Expand

    Uno después de jugar NieR: Automata uno esperaba una historia sobresaliente, ya que al parecer se veia que cada título hecho por Platinum iba mejorando progresivamente. A mí parecer la historia peca de ser simplona y no te exige para nada el entenderla. (Para alguien casual supongo que la historia estará bien)
    Algo que hace por ejemplo muy amado a la saga Devil May Cry es el carisma de los personajes ya que estos te generan una empatía que te dan ganas de seguir jugando cosa que no pasa en Astral Chain, ya que muchos llegan a ser planos y monótonos cosa que no ayuda mucho a la rejugabilidad por espantarnos con ello.
    Los puzzles del juego tienden a ser repetitivos y muy poco interesantes. Este aspecto no contribuye mucho al gameplay, cosa que solo genera bajar la calidad del mismo.
    Siento mucho reciclaje en el uso de escenarios. Si bien reutilizar uno que otro escenario no está mal, aquí pudieron haberlo hecho mejor más que todo por el género.
    El diseño de personajes se me es muy genérico y eso es muy negativo ya que el juego no podrá ser muy memorable ni siquiera por ese apartado
    Algo muy importante en los hack & slash es la fluidez y que este juego vaya a 30fps es sin duda un gran handicap para la jugabilidad. Hay que ser muy necio para decir que los 60fps no son necesarios aquí y muy hater para decir que otros juegos (que no requieren 60fps) van a 30.

    Otras pegas:
    - La cámara
    - Las investigaciones entorpecen el ritmo del juego
    - Clichés

    Conclusión: Astral Chain llega a ser un videojuego que al final de todo no está muy seguro de qué quiere lograr. El gameplay llega a ser desordenado para los casuals a lo que me parece que el juego está más enfocado por su historia y sus pausas con mecánicas simples y aburridas. Además de no lograr los 60fps que en este género si se requieren.
    Personajes planos que solo lograran que Astral Chain sea un juego olvidable a menos que se te venga a la mente el apartado artístico, aunque en el diseño de personajes y niveles no se llega a apreciar el mismo. Una decepción para lo que puede ofrecer el equipo de Platinum.
    Este es el peor trabajo de Platinum Games después del de las tortugas ninja, ya que en este tuvieron libertad en el desarrollo cosa que no se pudo en el juego de Activision, una pena.
    Si quieres jugar un buen hack & slash ahí tienes a Devil May Cry V, Bayonetta 2 o NieR que valen 1000 veces la pena más que este juego.    … Expand

    A game that truly makes good use of the switch, both in looks, gameplay, and sound, its art style helps compensate for the fact the switch is a low performer showing the devs knew what they had to work with, with a kicking soundtrack that suits each encounter scene and situation and the gameplay is fun with options for both the casual and hardcore so no one is left out, highly reccomended

    This game really surprised me with the depth of the various systems. For better or worse, it pulls from the best of platinum's library to make an rpg like beat em up that is a ton of fun.

    The game might not be the best platinum game for everyone, but I've absolutely adored it!

    Looks polished, and smooth even running only at 30 fps. Been Excellent so far in docked (still need to try it in portable mode tho). Definetly amust buy for switch owner and action lovers

    If you're looking for an action game that goes beyond action, had a solid story, good graphics, and combat that's easy to learn but hard/fun to fully master, this is the game for you.
    Aside from a few instances where lip synching doesn't quite match the English voices, the game has no major flaws, other than some missions stretching out without combat for too long on occasion.

    This game is amazing. A lot of d-bags giving it zero's because it's on Nintendo only or because it's about police even though they're dimension police... Looks great. Sounds great. Tight battle system that's really fun to use. All around great and unique story. What's not to love? Keep your **** politics away from great games.

    This game is Godlike. How is this running on the Switch? Got it at Walmart for $49.99 and it’s the best money I’ve spend this summer. Hard to put the controller down. Highly recommend this game.

    Astral Chain is a game with phenomenal music, style, and gameplay. The use of the Legions as a "chained" controllable makes the combat experience very unique, and adds lots of creative uses in battle. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a beat-em-up along with lots of mission to complete with genuinely interesting characters and gameplay.

    The gameplay is smooth. The characters are really likable. It's overall really fun with a sense of satisfaction.

    The controls are a little clunky when you first start using your legion... it takes some time to get used to.     The game has a complex combat system, an acceptable soundtrack and somewhat fine graphics. However, the fact that it is 30fps, might kill it for a lot of people. Pretty good game overall. Not perfect, but is pretty great, all things considered.

    Very Action oriented, detective work is fun. Great battle mechanics attacking and controlling your legion works fluently, a bumping soundtrack. This game is a must have!

    Llevo ya varias horas con este juego y después de leer varias reseñas que dan aqui, agradezco tanto poder tener las tres consolas (PS4, Switch, ONE), y asi evitar ser un fanboy que solo ataca otros juegos exclusivos de otras consolas sin si quiera jugarlos ni tenerlos.

    An all new never seen before dual stylish action game.

    This game dual stylish action gameplay may be a little complicated but its all new and pretty unique also may take only few hours to mastered. Also the art and the music are great if you have a Switch you should buy this game.

    Amazing game! Some of the most fun I've had in a platinum game period. The soundtrack is completely astounding, the variety in gameplay keeps every encounter interesting, and I'm at least invested enough in the plot to follow cutscenes and feel what the characters feel in game. Solid recommendation

    This is an EXCELLENT game, probably Platinum games’ best! There are haters on here review bombing this game cuz it’s a switch exclusive, but don’t believe it. It’s a fantastic game. Believe the critic reviews on this one. Not the “user” reviews. Most of the negatives don’t even own a switch. YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO GET THIS GAME!
