    This is a game about making circles... its aggressively mediocre. Boring and bland. What happened? How is this popular? It looks worse than some phone games. I'm disappointed I spent the money for it, was really excited actually. Love the bayonetta series, why did they waste their time on this.

    Super! Rally rate it! Gameplay, sound and graphics are sublime. The best choice for all Final Fantasy Crisis Core lovers, with a mix of Japanese Cartoons and much more Things. I love it!

    Fantastic game that balances action and cool down portions. Story is engaging and as a fan of Evangelion, I can’t help but make some connections. Controls are on point and it looks gorgeous!

    With most new franchises, I try to keep my expectations realistic. I'll usually give them a shot, but withhold my opinion until the game 'turns a corner' (i.e. passes a point of greatness where I can't contain my enthusiasm anymore). THIS GAME IS FREAKING AMAZING. Aesthetically, mechanically, and narratively. Wildly original, beautiful, and fun as hell. A masterpiece.

    Este juego es de lo mejor que e probado en la switch, unos gráficos muy buenos, un gameplay que al principio es medio complicado pero a la larga es excelente, y una música fantastica, aunque me da asco que la gente le ponga 0 por puro hate

    gran jugabilidad, increibles graficos y jugabilidad. se los recomiendo a todos los que tenga una Switch y si no lo tienes anímate. con este juego tendrás muchas horas de juego no solo dando golpes si no haciendo otras tareas.

    Astral Chain is a good video game in all sections. Its playability is wide, it's not just a hack and slash. The sound section is brilliant, the story is good and intriguing. It is also a game with a great graphic and design section.

    You will have tons of action and hours of fun, this game is also replayable. Dont doubt because of the sony trolls retinue, this game is awesome.

    Genuinely one of the coolest games I've ever played, with such a beautifully crafted world, atmosphere, battle mechanics and just general aesthetics. That's what this game is full of, none of which these losers review bombing this will ever be able take away from it ;)

    Don't let the angry switch-hating review bombers fool you. This game has a unique gameplay, it's absolutely gorgeous on the switch (on the same level as Doom), it has interesting music, and the setting and climate are well made. It's not perfect yet, not at all, but it's certainly an A+ quality game. There are small user interaction glitches that make a small number of sections in the gameDon't let the angry switch-hating review bombers fool you.     Love the use of astrals not only as battle companions but when in the open world finding hidden areas, traversing terrain you couldn't before and using them to assist you in multiple ways with your case and side-missions.

    I haven't gotten too far into the story yet, but it didn't pull me in quite as fast as a title like nier: automata did. It feels like there are a lot of parallels to the nier world just in terms of the situation Earth is in along with a team of NPCs to help you figure out just what exactly is going on at any point in time.

    I normally play on handheld but for this title I'll most likely play on docked only, the pro controller just feels better for overall movement and combat while the switch itself feels a bit clunky IMO.

    Overall, great impressions so far. Can't wait to continue through and hopefully 100% the game.    … Expand

    This game is a GEM, absolutely worth every penny in my honest opinion, lolll I just can't believe how many ppl in the world have nothing else better to do with their lame ass lives but to review bomb videogames, all in all this is ABSOLUTELY one of the best switch games of all time and a definite recommend!

La jugabilidad tremenda y trepidante marca de la casa con una variedad de misiones y de tipos de juego que hace de este un título en el que no te limitas tan solo a combatir y realizar combos, es algo más. Los que queremos la acciónLlevo tres días enganchadisimo y con el juego totalmente avanzado, adicción pura. Junto con Bayonetta 2 y Nier Autómata es un top 3 de Platinum Games.     Fantasic game, Cyberpunk games are hard to find. This game has great story telling, great graphics, and a great soundtrack. Controls are super! If someone is not coordinated enough to hit butters at once, this game is probably not for them.

I would have given the game a 8.5 - 9 normally, but I can not, because of the fake reviews. The game has great action, refreshing new theme, and style.     it's an acceptable game, the overall game is pulled down somewhat by a structure of missions that doesn't match the studio's desire to mix the beat 'em up and investigative genres, and further by large approximations and other technical problems — all of which have a significant impact on the enjoyment of the game.

    Game handles and looks fantastic. Controlling the character and the Legion at the same time takes some.practice but feels incredibly rewarding once you get the hang of it.

    Couldn’t get it to work at first. After 3 hours of customer service with a woman who definitely hates my guts, I finally got to play the game. It was buggy, generic, and had a lackluster story. Extremely disappointed, was looking forward to this game awhile now.

    Great game with really unique combat. Starts off slow but picks up around chapter 3 once you start getting more legions. Not as complex as bayonetta but not nearly as simple as nier automata. Graphics are pretty good too considering the hardware. Beware review bombing console and DMC fanboys. The only major complaint I have is certain controls can be tricky.

    Una de las mejores entregas de este año, un juego que va más allá de la satisfacción del jugador. Astral chain para mi punto de vista es un juego que aporta por mucho a la industria. Y estoy seguro que este juego tendrá estudios detrás sirviendoles como ejemplo y apoyo para futuras entregas. Gracias a este juego nos veremos más cerca a una nueva era para la industria de los video juegos.

    Not sure why so many PS4 users are claiming to own and have played the game. 1147 negative reviews? Interesting! They there are some flaws, but plenty of action as we are used to with Platiumgames. Its not a ten. Definitely a 9.5. Rounded up.

    Great game, platinum has tried to add new elements to their hack and slash games. The combat system is perfect. I'll give the 10 to compensate the incomprensible rev bombing that the game is receiving only for being exclusive.

    That being said, I would like to remind everyone that exclusives are bad for the video game industry and it would be better if every console/platform got every game, that being said, much like with Spider-Man PS4, if Nintendo is the sole reason this game exists it    A lot of bad reviews because of fanboys being butthurt that this game is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.     As for my opinion, this game is pretty good, graphics and more importantly animations are nice and fluid, combat, while a bit shallow works really well and is loads of fun and the soundtrack and -effects are also really good. However, one actual criticism I have with this game is the most important part, the FPS. While it is not impossible to play the game at 30, it would've been a lot nicer if it were 60 FPS, even if they would've had to downgrade the graphics in order to do so, but like always, say it with me now, graphics in video games don't matter as long as the gameplay is good!    … Expand

    Story is intriguing, I was interested in looking into it to learn more. The combat is unique and very well done, I have never played a game with this kind of unique combat style, the only bad thing about it, for me, was the Camera being janky sometimes, with some arenas being a little too small for the battles.     The game does have one big issue with its frames, sometimes it feels like it goes down to 20 frames because the switch can't handle whats going on, but I can handle a little fps drops, I don't get a head aches like some people do.
    (TAKE THIS AS A WARNING, IF YOU GET HEAD ACHES FROM LOW FPS, YOU WILL MOST DEFINITELY GET ONE IF YOU PLAY THIS GAME)

    If I had to give it a score, 8/10, the gameplay is very fun, story is enjoyable, but its not perfect, with camera and FPS issues I can see someone not enjoying it specifically for those two reasons.
    A platinum game I am sure will be put ontop along with Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta.

    And review Bombers, be mature, review bombing a game will most of the time, never bring it to your preferred console. I wish I could play God of War on the PC, or Second Son, or Horizon Zero Dawn, but I can't because a deal was made with sony.     This is a fantastic game, Hack & Slash/Action/Adventure/Puzzle/RPG, what a great mix of genres, the game play it's perfect, the graphics are beautiful, and the soundtrack...incredible, if you have a Switch it's a MUST HAVE.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Es un gran videojuego, la jugabilidad es completamente novedosa, la posibilidad de poder manejar a dos personajes al mismo tiempo es algo muy diferente a cualquier juego de accion o hack&slash que se haya visto..

    -La jugabilidad es impecable como todo lo que hace platinum games todos los movimientos son muy precisos. Hay decenas de mecanicas que vas desbloqueando con forme avanzas en el juego que le dan una variedad a la jugabilidad increible y recuerdan a muchas otras mecánicas de otros juegos de platinum como el corte de la legion espada que lo vemos en el Metal Gear rising o ir montado en la legion bestia que recuerda a bayonetta. Tambien otros toques de platinum como ir en vehiculos como en bayonetta le dan una gran variedad al juego.
    La banda sonora es muy buena y con mucha variedad e inspirada en otros juegos o peliculas como blade runner o ghost in the shell,
    Tambien tiene un diseño de niveles realmente bueno dentro de los portales, con partes muy originales de plataformeo bastante profundas, en ese entorno tan increible que a simple vista puede parecer plano o repetitivo pero una vez que empiezas a explorar los portales ves la variedad tan buena de paisajes que realmente sorprenden.

    -Visualmente tambien es increible los diseños de personajes son muy buenos, y los diseños de las kimeras y legiones sencillamente son buenisimos.
    Las partes de la ciudad literalmente son espectaculares recordando aveces a callejones de japon con mil luces y colores o a ciudades de grandes capitales llenas de luces, carteles en movimiento etc que recuerdan bastante a peliculas como akira, ghost in the shell o blade runner.

    El juego tiene decenas de mecanicas, no solo en las batallas, a la hora de investigar tambien le da mucha variedad al juego y nunca estas obligado a resolver todas las investigaciones con lo cual aveces tambien se agrade, por que dan la posibilidad de ir al grano en la historia siempre que lo desees.

    La historia es relativamente compleja y muy interesante de seguir y le da mucho sentido al juego y a la jugabilidad en general, no son cosas seperadas como en otros hack & slash, que te cuentan una historia y es la escusa para tener batallas sin sentido.

    En definitiva, es un gran juego que merece la pena, aporta un sin fin de mecanicas novedosas a los videojuegos de este tipo, la jugabilidad es compleja, por el sin fin de posibilidades que tienen los combates, y a la vez es realmente buena y profunda, y las sensacion de accion es muy buena y visualmente espectacular. La ambientación al mas puro estilo anime y futurista es uno de lo mejores puntos del juego y tambien en ese sentido aporta algo novedoso.

    Mi punto negativo puede ser, que aveces la exploracion puede hacerse algo tediosa, pero esta no es algo que sea obligatorio para avanzar, y en ocasiones incluso se agradece para disfrutar de los entornos y descansar de los combates que a veces se encadenan muchas batallas seguidas

    Astral Chain is a great game. Running at 30FPS doesn't mean it deserves a zero score. To those who claim it's a button masher. Remember, that's the exact same thing you said when your little sister beat you in Street Fighter (*coughscrubcough*). It's accessible, with the opportunity to be incredibly deep as long as you have a base level or creativity. The story is pretty simple, but the characters are likable (anyone who doesn't like Marie doesn't have a soul). It's a good start to what hopefully spawns future, even better sequels.

    Also, Bayonetta 3 is right around the corner, review bombers so you have an opportunity to step up your game. Maybe you'll be able to do a Shoryuken with your tongue by then to counter the sweet spike kick that will be Bayo 3. Probably not though. cuz you know, you're pathetic and all...    … Expand

    Es una delicia. Nivel gráfico, jugabilidad y la magia del juego en sí. Soy un amante del hack and slash. Esto está a la altura del God of War, Bayonetta 1 y 2. Metal gear rising, Nier automata. Esto marcará un referente en los hack and slash.
